"Why did we go there?" Anna asked the man who seemed a little furious. She was already angry herself at what the other woman said about her and the embarrassment Janjan had caused. Seeing Noah furious was only doubling her anger.
"To see if you remember anything." Noah said shortly as he helped her into the car. He loved her without the memory, but what father is he if he cannot find the fool that took the life of his fetus. An eye for an eye.
He should be taking revenge on whoever had hurt him this way. He'll never let them go.
"You should have told me." Anna said as she watched him step into the car. He sat next to her and dragged his tie.
"There's no need to worry you over trivia matters I can handle." He said staring out the window. Noah had no idea his words and actions only fueled a certain insecurities in her heart as Anna wondered if he still loved her.
