Kate had left the mansion almost the same time Nari had left. In her bag was a black sack of cloth where she wrapped a good numbers of the jewelries she wanted to sell out. In her words, she was only going to give it out for collateral and when she has her life back, she would get her jewels back.
She couldn't imagine selling customized jewels this expensive to anyone. These jewels were specially made for her, from the best of the best. Most of them were given in the past by suitors that came her way, even if she never ended up marrying any one of them.
