ANOTHER PERSON IN THE SECRET

After that stupid call with Mack, Anna didn't see a reason to step out, she had remained in her room all day just moving around and keeping herself busy with her thoughts. One of the reason she didn't step out was because of the dangerous chemical Lurch had told her about.

Instead of making the old butler more worried about her health, she decided to stay indoors and wait for Noah to return.

At noon, Anna left their balcony and stepped back into the room to rest further when her phone rang. When she checked the caller it was her PR team. They had briefly told her their plans was commencing now and that Nari has dropped a picture of her at the mall.

They said the news site stated that Anna was caught bullying Nari and everyone cried and cursed her saying she was going out sad. As if that was not enough, the news about Mack leaving her bagan to spread like wild fire.

She is currently a hot topic on the news again as he team just kept fueling the whole thing. She was happy with how everything has gone.

That day at the mall, Anna had deliberately extended her fight with Nari and Mrs Yong when she sighted Nari's photographer at a corner filming the whole thing. Though she didn't say much, her action only shows she was bullying them with her wealth just the way she wanted.

They called her evil to tarnish her image, but she felt like rather than cowardly walking away like always, it was time she made money from whatever people saw her as.

Anna did care anymore. She wasn't the weak Anna that let people step on her too much. She was changed now.

While she celebrated her little victory alone in the room, her phone rang again and this time it was a call from home. Her grandfather had a little health issue and her family wanted her back.

She couldn't tell them she was married yet cause she had no idea how he would take it.

When Lurch arrived earlier to their bedroom, he had arrived with Noah's bag and coat but she didn't see Noah come in. Lurch said Noah was attending to a special guest and Anna couldn't wait for him to finish. She wanted to leave tonight, to go back home to her family tonight.

Chalamet who had been desperate to see the woman his cousin had found froze when he saw an angel call Noah. At first he thought he was dreaming, but then when he blinked she was still there. Standing in a black dress that hugged her womanly curves.

A not so tall or short slender looking woman, with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. What got him more stunned was that this woman was familiar. The former ex model/ beauty queen who has been missing for two years.

He saw Noah's hard face soften the moment this woman stepped in. Noah stretched his hands towards her and Anna ran to his arms.

"What is it?" He gave all of his attention to her forgetting there was anyone in the room before.

"Noah I..." Anna bit her lips not knowing how to tell him about it. She turned to look at the butler and then her eyes fell on the man on the couch.

"You seem busy, we'll talk later. Sorry for interrupting." Anna whispered apologetically. What was she thinking? Oh this is so embarrassing. She turned to leave but felt Noah's grip on her arms as he pulled her to seat on his laps.

"Don't ever apologize for being where I am." He said sternly and she nodded feeling embarrassed at the gazes from Lurch and the other man on the couch.

"What is it?"

"Noah my grandfather. H... He's sick and I've been asked to go back home. I can't possibly tell them about us now, he might die from shock." Noah had a frown on his face and for a few seconds, he was silent.

Chalamet craned his neck to hear what the couple were saying but he could hear nothing. It's like they were in their own world having their conversation and forgetting everyother person existed. He chuckled staring at his stone hard hearted cousin who looked so soft before this Noah.

The cold bossy Noah has been replaced by someone he has never seen before. Even if he was told Noah had this caring nature burried at the depth of his soul, he would have never believed.

It didn't take this woman anything to turn a destructive beast into a lost puppy.

"Will you be okay?" Noah asked and she nodded.

"Words."

"Yes." Anna wet her lips and heard him groan slightly, his hands around her waist tightened a bit.

"When are you leaving?" Noah asked suddenly holding her hands in his as he played with her ring finger.

"T... Tonight but after dinner."

"Then there's no point having dinner here let's get going so we can catch dinner with your family." Anna's eyes widened at his words.

"Y... You want to take me home?" Noah nodded with a grin.

"I want to make sure you get home safely. Once he recovers you're coming back, I can't share my wife with another man." Anna turned agape at his words.

"He's my grandfather Noah." She reminded him. She knew if she stayed with this man one more day, she would go crazy. This man's jealousy will definitely be the end of her. In all her life she hasn't met anyone like Noah.

"Do I look like I care? He's taken care of you enough, you're mine now. Mine to care for. Mine alone." Noah shamelessly declared and Anna felt her cheeks warming up at his words. It's not like it was the first time he was claiming her, but right now he said it so loud for the men in the room to hear.

"Lurch will help you arrange a few things to take with you." Anna nodded at his words and left the lounge. She didn't bother looking at the man on the couch and Chalamet didn't say a word to her either.

"Is she..."

"She's my wife Chalamet. I don't want it out yet." The cold Noah was back and he didn't wait for Chalamet to respond before stepping out of the room.
