Chapter 40 - Disguise

"Um, what are you doing, Larrk?" Inquired Prysm, as she climbed down the cliff and walked over.

"Making it look like this guy did all this by himself," I replied, as I moved the bodies around.

I really hit the jackpot, the bandits were carrying a decent amount of money, but not a whole lot of it. This world doesn't use any paper currency, only coins.

Which is a pain to carry around, but at least the value will stay uniform. The highest denomination is platinum coins, followed by gold, silver and copper. One copper coin is barely enough to buy anything, a loaf of bread is about two coppers.

One silver is worth ten coppers, one gold is worth five silvers and one platinum is worth ten golds. It took me a while to get used to how the value of currency works in this world, mapping it out with nice, even numbers helped.
