I sank into the water enjoying the warmth it provided.

'Tomorrow...huh"

Going back to that place is not something I'd like to do but... if it were to be left alone.

After I had my fill of the onsen, I wrapped myself in clothing and headed to sleep.

Early the next morning I left the village without informing anyone 'it'd be more troublesome if they were to come'

I dashed down the mountain at full speed reaching the bottom in a manner of minutes.

Reaching my hand out I chanted

"[Spatial Displacement ]"

The displacement spell brought me to the tree it had on the last occasion. Taking in a deep breath I calmed my nerves and nausea.

After my appearance had changed and made my way to the city gate only to be stopped by the guards, thanks to the amulet I had at the very least I could understand them.

"Halt what business do you have here" Guard 1

Reaching for my bag the guards misunderstood and placed their hands on the hilt of the sword they carried.

I waived my hands indicating for them to not worry and then pointed towards my mouth they seemed to understand that I couldn't speak.

After the expressions on their face's relaxed, I took out a simple booklet and pen and started writing

"I'm an adventurer, I came because I need to go to the guildo hall" With that I showed them my guild card

One of the guards laughed and took the booklet from me and corrected the last word.

At the guildhall Nine, Kai and Gil where done making their preparations,

"@#$@# @#$# @#%&^&" (I am here)

"Hiyori-san!!!"

Both of them seemed happy that id actually came

"You actually made it huh?" Nine looked at me incredulously

I shrugged my shoulder and said "I have my ways"

He just shook his head.

"So what are the specifics of the mission?"

Nine signaled to go into the building, so we took a seat and activated a sound disrupter, to make it so that no one could hear us.

"Mission is to guard a merchant's carriage and its valuables within, the final destination being Myasia Central Capital, aside from the merchandise, we will be escorting the young mistress from the Merchant Family Miru. She… does have a temperament but please try to go along with it, the most important thing is to complete the mission"

Kai, Gil, and I nodded our heads.

We headed towards the building belonging to the Miru Merchants. Kai and Nine went to report that our preparation was done and we could part immediately.

Once the two came back, following them was one of the most beauteous beings I had ever seen. Pale skin that no matter where you looked had no pores, luscious red hair, and green eyes.

'Wow, talk about fantasy beauty'

The teenage girl directed herself to the black carriage looking at us once and nothing more.

"Talk about noble attitude, tsk.." Gil

I nodded and looked at Gil with a grin it seems he doesn't like to deal with nobles or the wealthy.

Nine organized us to position ourselves in certain places strategically.

Nine rode in with the cart with the most valuables, Gil was placed beside the coachman, Kai rode a horse along with us, and since I was the only girl in the party I was entrusted to ride alongside the Mistress of the Miru family.

She once in a while glanced at me with a curious gaze, I suppose it's not that she has a bad temper but rather, she doesn't interact with a lot of people. I placed a barrier that was not visible to the naked eye, and it should be sturdy enough to receive at least four of my blows.

When the girl fell asleep, I started speculating what to do in the capital.

While I was deep in thought the girl whom I thought was sleeping was staring at me very intently, it made me wonder if my illusion had been undone but it wasn't the case.

Since I couldn't speak I wrote "Is something the matter miss?"

At first, she looked quite shocked at the fact I couldn't speak

"I…s is it fun being an adventurer?"

"Fun? Maybe. I haven't been an adventurer for that long"- Hiyori

Her eyes shone with interest "Really? Since you've come along it must be you're pretty strong"

After that we "chatted" about this and that she introduced herself as Samantha Miru.

She told me that not many of the girls of high society chatted with her due to her appearance and thus naturally developed an image of someone unreasonable.

After the day of traveling we camped in a clear space, Nine set us in turns to guard. Gil was the first to take a turn so I made my way to Samantha-san's tent and sat on the outside guarding her.

Then of course trouble had to stir...
