Point out any errors I made in the chapters, as I'm very lazy and sometimes can't be bothered to reread them. Also, give your opinions on something I should change or add.
Note: Still not done rereading the novel yet, since it's taking longer than originally expected, but felt there would be too big of a gap between chapters if I waited till that point to write this one, so here it is.

"Please let this work." Seeing that it was done, Feng ignored the changes brought about to the clone after consuming the Peak Bloodline and hurriedly brought up the Ethereal Replicant Core's System Panel, choosing to use Information Uptake while mumbling to himself.
With the skill's activation, a System Window asking Feng for a certain amount of Seven Luminaries Crystals in order for the update to be completed popped up.
Feng hesitated for only a moment upon seeing the huge number of Seven Luminaries Crystals required to complete the update, but quickly agreed to it. The moment he did, a wave of power washed over him, and Feng felt his strength increase by another level.
Quickly bringing up his System Panel and looking through the information on his Bloodline, Feng couldn't help but grin.
Feng was now the owner of two Bloodlines simultaneously.
This wasn't something that should be possible.
Players in God's Domain could only have one Bloodline at a time, and if they wanted to use a new, different one while having already consumed another Bloodline beforehand, they'd have to replace the old one; losing nearly all of its effects in favor of the new Bloodline's.
However, thanks to the Ethereal Replicant Core, Feng managed to make use of a loophole, having the Perfect Clone absorb one Bloodline while he himself had already consumed another one in advance, before copying all of the Peak Bloodline's information to himself so that he'd have both Bloodlines' effects at once.
Such a thing was only achievable due to the way Information Uptake works.
If Feng were to transfer his information using Data Synthesis to the Perfect Clone, but then lost it, whether it be something like attributes or EXP, he could use Information Uptake to get it back whenever he wanted for no cost. Of course, under the condition that the clone itself still possessed that information.
On the other hand, if it were the other way around and the clone lost some information for some reason, Feng would have to pay the corresponding Seven Luminaries Crystals in order to give the information to the Perfect Clone again.
Despite its intended purpose as merely being used to even out the user's and the clone's stats, Information Uptake could be incredibly useful in many situations, like upgrading stuff with the Holy Grail for free by spending his own HP before getting it back from the Perfect Clone, even including in combat as well.
Feng could technically use Information Uptake to get back any Stamina and Concentration that he consumed during battle, along with HP if he were to lose any.
Though, it can't fix his Heavily Weakened state after using Twofold or Threefold Berserk, since Information Uptake can only give extra information to the user, not override something like the player's physical state.
But if the Perfect Clone were to obtain something new that the original body did not have, and Feng used Information Uptake to download it from the clone by paying the necessary amount of Seven Luminaries Crystals, Feng would have that as well.
However, it's when things that a player can only use or consume a limited number of times get involved that something interesting happens.
Both Feng and the Perfect Clone can indeed only follow the rules and limitations placed on such things under normal circumstances, as the clone could essentially function as another player.
Nonetheless, by using Information Uptake and Data Synthesis in tandem, it was possible for them to achieve something quite extraordinary.
When a player consumes or partakes in something that has a cap on the allowed times it could be done, depending on the thing's nature, either a mark is left on the player's soul, or the Main God's System marks their account with info on the player's action.
Black Flame, due to counting as a player, worked the same, and his pseudo-God's Domain account functioned similarly to actual players'; with one small difference.
Feng could still download the Perfect Clone's new information on what he's gained, acquiring the same information and attributes that are extra of the original stuff Black Flame inherited from him, but without copying any of the information from the clone's God's Domain account, and then update the clone; erasing the extra information on Black Flame's account while keeping the attributes.
In such a way, Feng and Black Flame could technically use limited resources, which a person could normally only utilize a designated number of times by the system, infinitely.
Of course, that didn't mean they would gain unlimited benefits from things like Consumables, since the effects would be reduced with each usage regardless due to them having a hidden effect on the player's body and constitution, which Feng would copy over using Information Uptake as well since it's a part of the benefits.
Nonetheless, such a method was still invaluable and could allow for countless opportunities, far surpassing what they'd normally have available to them as long as Feng utilized it efficiently.
Bloodlines functioned a bit differently in this scenario though, as aside from the boost to stats that they provided, they were also directly included into the player and became a part of their account upon absorption, so Feng was limited to cheesing the strategy into only having two Bloodlines simultaneously, since if he were to update the Perfect Clone using Data Synthesis, it would gain both Feng's own Bloodline and the Bloodline he had copied from it; unlike how he would just erase the extra information on the clone's account in other cases such as Consumables.
Replacing a Bloodline was very costly, with the price increasing stupendously with the Bloodline's rank, so having Black Flame repeatedly replace the Bloodline he absorbs, if he would even be capable of that due to already having two inside him and the system not allowing him to absorb another, possibly even discovering what Feng had done if it wasn't already aware, was a no-go; especially during the earlier tiers.
Not to mention the risks that come with having multiple Bloodlines absorbed at once.
After all, the Main God's System doesn't prevent human players from consuming more than one Bloodline and having multiple of them simultaneously for no reason.
Feng was already taking quite a risk by having taken in two simultaneously, with the chances of something horrible happening and crippling his account being significant, so it wouldn't be smart to continue adding in more variables for gains that weren't exactly worth it.
But considering that this was double what any other player could get, Feng had double the advantage, or quadruple if he included Black Flame into the mix, so it was good enough for now.
Having two Bloodlines was even more of an advantage if Feng were to absorb very powerful ones, gaining a stupendous amount of attributes with every level up, along with their respective abilities; which was exactly what Feng was doing right now.
The idea to use the Ethereal Replicant Core and the Perfect Clone created by it as a means to duplicate a second Bloodline and copy it over to himself, having two Bloodlines inside him at once, had come to Feng while he was browsing through the list of Peak Bloodlines on the Divine Hall's Advanced Menu.
Although he hadn't been sure if it would work out, Feng decided to risk it anyway, purchasing the Peak Bloodline he had come across and using up his two Peak Bloodline limit on the Advanced Menu instead of exchanging for one that was suitable to Violet, due to the possible benefits far exceeding the consequences.
Thankfully, the Ethereal Replicant Core managed to copy over the extra information obtained by the Perfect Clone after it absorbed the Peak Bloodline and transferred it to Feng without it creating any problems with the Draconic-Voidling Bloodline.
Meanwhile, the Peak Bloodline that Feng had purchased was one of the best Bloodlines available in the entire Divine Hall, being the costliest Bloodline out of all of them after only the singular Apex Bloodline up for exchange, and overall quite suitable for Feng and his plans, called the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline.
[Savitarian Carnation Bloodline] (Peak Bloodline)
Increases consumer's compatibility with the Time element, as well as greatly enhancing Movement Speed, Attack Speed, and Reaction Speed. The passage of time becomes much clearer and the consumer is no longer affected by Time Compression. The duration of all debuffs and negative status effects on the consumer is decreased by 75%, while the duration of all buffs is increased by 100%, and the duration of all active skills is increased by 50%.
Has a high chance of granting the Precursor Glimpse skill upon consumption.
Mainly improves Agility, Intelligence, Concentration, and Strength, followed by Endurance, Vitality, and Physique.
Bloodlines that improve a player's compatibility with Advanced elements are exceptionally rare, and those that exist usually are either of a lower rank or have a much inferior level of purity compared to that of other elements.
One that was on the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline's level was basically nonexistent.
Moreover, it was even a top-tier Peak Bloodline of the Time element, which was much more complicated and difficult to improve for players than most other Advanced elements, being greatly superior to the other two elements of the Three Supreme Elements, the elements of Space and Illusion.
Just that made it far more valuable than any of the other Bloodlines available for exchange in the Divine Hall, not to mention the rest of the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline's remaining features.
Feng's strength had increased by another level after acquiring the Peak Bloodline's boosts from copying the clone's information through Information Uptake.
His Basic Attributes had skyrocketed once more, and Feng's Concentration had been substantially enhanced, inching closer to the Tier 4 Peak standard, but the attributes provided for it not being as amazing for that standard due to Feng's low level and tier.
And he had even gained a new powerful skill.
[Precursor Glimpse]
Allows the user to peek through the future and witness the events that will play out in the next five seconds.
Duration: 3 seconds
Cooldown: 48 hours
The value and unimaginable possibilities, in both battle and loads of other varying situations, that a skill like Precursor Glimpse which allowed the user to see the future provided need not be said, making the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline at the very top even with just it.
With the future sight skill, Feng could perceive most dangers ahead of time, turning potentially life-threatening dangers into easily avoidable ones.
It was especially so for battles in the higher tiers where everything happens at extreme speeds, making seconds feel like hours. With Feng being able to see what was going to happen five seconds ahead of time, anything that his opponents tried would be useless during Precursor Glimpse's duration.
Setting aside all the other benefits that Feng had gained from absorbing it, the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline was very much worth the price and using up his exchange count for it with just the Precursor Glimpse skill even without the rest of the gains originating from the Bloodline.
Adding on the boost to his attributes and overall speed, along with the duration of the effects on him being either decreased or increased depending on if they are positive or negative, with even his Heavily Weakened state being greatly reduced to just a fourth of its original length and now the crippling of Feng's attributes by 80% lasting for only 24 hours, the increase to Feng's combat power was completely otherworldly; being comparable to when he absorbed the Draconic-Voidling Bloodline.
Additionally, later on, thanks to the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline and its improvement of his compatibility with the element of Time, Feng would have a much easier time mastering the Law of Time and making full use of the Yog-Sothoth sword once he repaired it to Divine Artifact rank.
Marking his test as a complete success, Feng stopped controlling the Perfect Clone and prepared to leave, not planning on updating it so that the clone would get all the new stuff that he had acquired during his trip to the Dark Den since the other him would then not be able to enter any Epic Shrines or receive Exploits for going up the Divine Staircase; when Feng suddenly remembered that he had wanted to try out something else with Black Flame.
As he was about to activate his newest Identification Skill on the clone and see what information would appear, however, another thought to experiment with both that one and his newest skill simultaneously came to Feng, and he activated Precursor Glimpse.
In the next moment, Feng's vision changed.
Apart from seeing the same thing as before, which had frozen as if time was paused, Feng also seemed to be watching another scene from the same perspective at the same time.
From that second vision, Feng saw himself approach the Perfect Clone and activate Eros Vision, which was what he had originally planned to do in order to see what information would be displayed to him when the Identification Skill was used on a male creature; deciding another version of himself was the best target for testing it out.
A list of info about the clone then appeared, looking very similar to what Feng had seen when using Eros Vision on Serena, Celestina, and Mariabelle.
[Black Flame]
Tier: 1
Level: 99
Gender: Male
Race: Human (Bloodline: Peak Rank Savitarian Carnation Bloodline)
Title: None (Swordsmanship Great Grandmaster)[1]
Age: 13 days
Penis Length: 4-7 inches [2]
Virgin: No
Mental State: Unconscious (Missing consciousness)
Physical State: Normal
Stamina Remaining: 100%
Affiliation: Forces of Light, Guild Leader of the Zero Wing Adventurer Guild
Relationship Status: ???
Favorability: Forced Neutral (Internally plotting. Caution is advised)
Sexually Attracted: -100%
Fetish: ???
All of the information provided by Eros Vision, with the exception of the private parts described on the list, seemed to be the same for both males and females; while the info he got on the clone from the Identification Skill was along with what Feng had expected.
Finished inspecting the revealed information with a simple glance within a second, Feng watched as his future self similarly no longer paid attention to the System Panel, moving on to doing something else.
He then proceeded to take a small spherical container of some kind out of his bag before unscrewing the top and opening it, revealing a white, palm-sized stone. Feng's future self then retrieved the Blazing Meteor.
The sight surprised Feng slightly as the white stone was a Sacred Stone which Feng had purchased from the Divine Hall. Feng watched with Precursor Glimpse as the scene of future Feng using the Sacred Stone on the Epic ranked Blazing Meteor, like he had been planning on doing later, played out.
Suddenly, the Sacred Stone radiated an incomparably intense power; which present Feng could only perceive visually. Golden energy streamed from the stone, flowing into the Blazing Meteor that was in Feng's other hand.
A moment later, the Sacred Stone turned to dust.
But when the visual effects faded and the Blazing Meteor was properly revealed once more, it didn't look any different, nor were there any noticeable changes to the Throwing Weapon's Aura.
When future Feng checked its attributes, the flaming needle was indeed still at Epic rank, meaning that, although the Blazing Meteor's attributes and abilities had improved by a decent margin, the evolution failed and it couldn't reach Fragmented Legendary rank with just one Sacred Stone.
Seemingly not minding much that it was unsuccessful, future Feng reequipped the Blazing Meteor after glancing through its improved stats, and turned around to leave the Forging Room; pulling up the System Clock as he did and looking at it.
As his future self began walking out of the room, five seconds had already passed, and Feng's original vision started moving again, being unfrozen from time.
Checking himself and his bags, Eros Vision wasn't on cooldown, and the Sacred Stone still remained in Feng's Spatial Bag.
Bringing up the System Clock as well, Feng saw that his clock displayed a time five seconds behind the second vision's clock.
Precursor Glimpse's description did not exaggerate. Feng could indeed see five seconds into the future.
Furthermore, the skill continued allowing Feng to watch what his future self does for another three seconds after present Feng was unfrozen, showing the scene of him quickly speeding through the streets of White River City and arriving at the Bank in only a second.
The skill only ended following another second passing, ending the future vision as that Feng entered his Private Warehouse.
Knowing that the Blazing Meteor's upgrade was destined to fail as things stand right now, Feng abandoned his idea of turning his Epic ranked Throwing Weapon into a Fragmented Legendary one.
Originally, Feng had decided on the flaming needle as the item he'd upgrade with the purchased Sacred Stone, since all of his other equipment was either already at Fragmented Legendary rank, or not worth it due to Feng being able to get better ones on his own.
Throwing Weapons were much rarer than other items, even harder to obtain than Ornaments among higher ranks, and they played an essential role in the fighting style of many players; among the lower tiers at least due to their scarcity and lack of effectiveness against high tiered enemies.
Feng used to integrate Throwing Weapons into his main fighting style during his first life, but as he grew stronger in the second timeline, their value dropped for him, and Feng could never get his hands on one of a high enough rank that could be useful in battle; the Blazing Meteor of that timeline reaching only Super Dark-Gold rank, meaning it didn't rise in levels along with Feng.
Contrastingly, thanks to getting an Epic ranked material early on from Arcus Maddox this time around unlike in his previous life, Seliora succeeded in making the Epic Throwing Weapon that Feng had been using up to now.
As the strength of Feng's opponents grows, though, Blazing Meteor's effectiveness and usefulness rapidly decreases, a mere Epic Throwing Weapon not being nearly powerful enough to sufficiently damage Superior Mythic monsters, let alone stronger enemies like the Tier 6 natural-born God that Feng was planning on facing.
Hence, Feng decided to evolve the Blazing Meteor into a Fragmented Legendary ranked item. It was the most beneficial one of his remaining Epic items to upgrade after all.
There was only one issue with that, however.
Blazing Meteor's core materials were severely lacking. Most of them were below Epic rank, and the Throwing Weapon had barely managed to reach the extraordinary rank during its forging.
Without sufficiently powerful enough materials that gave the item room for improvement, it wasn't possible for its rank to be upgraded. In its current state, there was no way just one Sacred Stone would be enough for the Blazing Meteor to reach Fragmented Legendary rank; or even with multiple of them, it might still be impossible.
Feng would normally need to have it reforged with Inferior Legendary materials in order to provide the Throwing Weapon with the potential for further growth and increase the chances of a Sacred Stone upgrading its rank, but that came with a couple of complications and risks of its own.
Thankfully, though, Feng had another way to achieve the same result without the risk of the Blazing Meteor becoming ruined in the process.
Leaving the Forging Room as well, Feng stopped controlling Black Flame's physical body and left it slumped over the forging table as he quickly made his way to the Bank.
It took him only a second or so at his current speed, the other players and NPCs not even managing to see his afterimage blur by, and Feng entered his Private Warehouse.
He then retrieved a certain syringe-looking object from one of the cabinets which housed special items.
This was a Fragmented Legendary ranked Tool called Aethersplice that Feng had previously obtained while madly opening Treasure Chests during the time his Luck was in six digits, and although it didn't have any use for combat or Lifestyle matters, the syringe's value wasn't low.
With the Tool, one could infuse their items with new materials, up to Legendary rank, increasing an equipment's or weapon's durability, core structure, base power, and potentially gaining new abilities.
At first, Feng thought it could be useful but didn't plan on utilizing it for his items due to there also being a risk of the materials interfering with an item's structure and decreasing its strength instead of improving it; especially if a material isn't compatible with the item.
Feng would rather not risk his powerful items becoming weakened or potentially even useless for a small increase in power, so he left the Aethersplice for future matters if it became necessary.
Now, though, Feng had the perfect chance to test out the Fragmented Legendary Tool.
With it he could infuse Inferior Legendary and Legendary rank materials into the Blazing Meteor and increase its potential, making it more likely that the Sacred Stone would succeed in upgrading the flaming needle's rank to Fragmented Legendary.
In truth, Feng had been deciding on whether to do this before trying to evolve the Blazing Meteor ever since he had exchanged for the Sacred Stone.
Even though it would certainly increase the chances of the Throwing Weapon reaching Fragmented Legendary rank, what Feng had wanted to do was bet his chances on the Blazing Meteor undergoing a forceful Evolution and have its rank upgraded with just the Sacred Stone.
On very rare occasions, an item that was exposed to certain stimuli could evolve into a superior version of itself even without the item's actual rank necessarily changing.
Normally, such items would unlock new, extraordinary abilities that items of their rank should not possess and become top-tier items unmatched by others of the same rank.
Feng had seen such a thing happen a few times during his previous life, the most notable of them being when his Icarus's Heart and Abyssal Blade underwent an Evolution, their power and abilities increasing by leaps and bounds.
He had even heard of some Legendary items unexpectedly going through an Evolution and suddenly being capable of faintly controlling Laws, becoming Fragmented Divine Artifacts without the items' users even intending to cause the Evolution or upgrade.
Of course, such an occurrence was extremely rare and practically impossible to predict or trigger on purpose, with very few players across history ever having any of their items Evolve; only some lucky bastards like Feng having it happen to them multiple times in their lives.
Hoping that he'd manage to make the Blazing Meteor forcibly Evolve, Feng had been pondering on whether to try it out or not without improving its structure, since that would make the upgrade process more likely to pan out, which would therefore make Evolution less likely to happen, despite knowing the Throwing Weapon's core materials were nowhere near good enough for the endeavor to be successful, thinking that it also being a reward from the system for completing a Quest would perhaps mean it had some hidden, unknown potential that would cause it to Evolve.
However, seeing his future self attempt to use the Sacred Stone to upgrade the Blazing Meteor, either deciding that the possible return was worth the risk, or perhaps knowing that another timeline's Feng was watching him with Precursor Glimpse, and fail, Feng chose to first improve the Blazing Meteor's materials before using the Sacred Stone on it.
Taking out several materials from Zero Wing's Warehouse, most of them being Inferior Legendary rank, while two were Legendary materials, with one being a fire-type material and the other being a draconic-type material that Feng had obtained from the Infant Silver Dragon, Feng put them all into the Aethersplicer, with all of the materials somehow fitting inside the small syringe, before taking out the Blazing Meteor.
As the materials inside the Aethersplicer were turned into a colorful liquid, Feng brought the tip of the syringe's needle to the Throwing Weapon, stabbing it into the flaming needle in the next moment and pushing the plunger.
All of the liquid formed from the materials inside the Aethersplice poured into the Blazing Meteor as the syringe did its magic and integrated the materials into the Throwing Weapon's structure. In the next moment, the Blazing Meteor's aura greatly intensified.
Flames burned out from the flaming needle as even the space around the Blazing Meteor destabilized.
Striking while the iron was hot, Feng activated Divine Providence, pulled out the Sacred Stone and used it on the improved Blazing Meteor.
Suddenly, the Sacred Stone radiated an incomparably intense power. Golden energy streamed from the stone, flowing into the Blazing Meteor that was in Feng's other hand.
A moment later, the Sacred Stone turned to dust, while the Blazing Meteor underwent an earth-shattering transformation. The flames grew even more intense as they surrounded the flaming needle, giving it a ferocious look. Moreover, the Throwing Weapon now emitted great pressure, much more powerful than the one that comes from non-weapons.
Quite curious about the Blazing Meteor's changes, Feng pulled up the needle's Attribute Panel.

The Blazing Meteor was forged by Grandmaster Forger Seliora into an Epic ranked Throwing Weapon. The Throwing Weapon was later upgraded using a Sacred Stone.
User restriction: Ye Feng
Unable to be dropped.
Unable to be traded.
Feng's Throwing Weapon had become hundreds of times stronger after getting infused with so many high-ranking materials and upgraded to Fragmented Legendary rank.
Due to having never seen a Throwing Weapon above Epic rank before, Feng couldn't really give a proper estimate on how strong the current Blazing Meteor was in comparison to other Fragmented Legendary ranked Throwing Weapons, so he wasn't sure if it was just average or among the top-tier ones.
But if he had to guess, Feng would say that it was definitely among the better ones, and he was pretty pleased with it.
Though, it was still weaker in pure power than Fire's Tier 4 Legacy Throwing Weapon, the Monstrous Piercer. When it came to in terms of attributes and Attack Power at least, while the Blazing Meteor's damage-dealing capabilities were a bit superior, and their effects and abilities varied in power depending on the situation and conditions; with the Tier 4 Monstrous Piercer having a skill that nearly puts the Blazing Meteor to shame just by itself.
Still, Feng was pretty satisfied with the new Blazing Meteor, and it would prove to be much more useful than before.
Afterwards, instead of leaving the Private Warehouse upon finishing with upgrading his Throwing Weapon, Feng went over to another cabinet and opened it, retrieving a silver statue in the shape of a menacing wolf.
Calling up the Lunar Packheart's System Panel, Feng chose to use Primal Infusion on himself.
A system message asking for confirmation on which Bloodline he wished to select then appeared before Feng, along with a small list of three options to choose from.
These were the three Bloodlines Feng currently had inside of him; the default human Bloodline, the Draconic-Voidling Bloodline, and the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline.
Feng didn't spend much time thinking and immediately made his choice, starting the process of Primal Infusion as the silver wolf statue's eyes turned bright red.
Unexpectedly, though, Feng hadn't chosen the strongest Bloodline among the ones on the list, which would be the Draconic-Voidling Bloodline. Instead, he had picked the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline as the Bloodline to improve.
In the next moment, a red beam fired out of the Lunar Packheart's red eyes and entered Feng, its power spreading throughout his body.
The feeling of his blood boiling inside him like it was lava made Feng grimace slightly, but he was more shocked as he felt boundless energy coursing through him and fusing with the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline.
He sensed the rapid improvement in all of his aspects which were boosted by the Peak Bloodline, and Feng was quite amazed. Although his strength didn't increase nearly as much as when he had absorbed the Bloodline, the attributes and abilities that came from the Savitarian Carnation Bloodline had vastly improved and provided another great boost to Feng's combat power.
By the time Primal Infusion ended, apart from the amount of attributes Feng received with each level up increasing and the duration of debuffs, buffs on him, and his skills' getting further modified in Feng's favor, even the skill that he had received from the Peak Bloodline, Precursor Glimpse, had been improved by Primal Infusion.
Now, it showed Feng ten seconds into the future and had a duration of five seconds, while its cooldown had fallen to only thirty hours.
Taking out several Levellume Capsules, Feng poured all of his EXP into them, falling back down to Level 0 again, before rising up to Level 99 once more; his attributes gaining over a thousand Attribute Points from the continuous level ups.
Following which, Feng stored away the EXP capsules and the Lunar Packheart, choosing to leave his Private Warehouse and head to the Candlelight Trading Firm.
As for improving the Draconic-Voidling Bloodline, Feng had some plans for that later on, having thought of something that could provide an increase to his strength comparable to when he absorbed the Apex Bloodline.
Arriving at the 4-star Shop, Feng made a trip to Cocoa's Forging Room, which was an Advanced Workshop that was allocated to her, as Candlelight's Chief Forger, for use.
The sight of Cocoa manipulating the Silver Meteorite Flame and the Burning Argent Flame simultaneously with a concentrated expression as she forged items greeted Feng as soon as he entered the girl's Forging Room.
What surprised Feng a bit, though, was that despite last seeing Cocoa around a week ago, the Forger's Insignia on her chest indicated that she had already become a Grandmaster Forger.
Creating brand new items of the necessary rank for fulfilling the condition to increase her Forger rank was not difficult for Cocoa, even inventing a Grandmaster rank item being an easy task, as she had already done so in her previous life, so her capability to reach Grandmaster rank wasn't surprising to Feng.
But the amount of Forging Proficiency Points that was required to become a Grandmaster would be another thing. Although Cocoa had the Book of Creation, which greatly contributed to her gathering all those Proficiency Points, it was still a very impressive feat considering how many high-ranking items she would have needed to make in order to accumulate enough points.
Within less than a month and a half of God's Domain launching to the public, a player had already reached the Grandmaster rank in a Lifestyle Class. Moreover, it was in one of the main Major Subclasses.
Such was the advantage of competent reincarnators.
Shaking off the thought, Feng approached Cocoa and asked her for the Book of Creation.
Handing over the Lifestyle Class Manual after finishing with what she had been working on, Cocoa watched curiously as Feng took out the Magic Device Design that he had been awarded after completing Serena's test and used Blessing of Creation on the Design.
After the blinding light from Blessing of Creation subsided, the new Mysterious-Iron Magic Device Forging Design was revealed.
The value of a Mysterious-Iron Magic Device Design was many times greater than that of the Bronze one that Feng previously possessed, and many powers across the Greater God's Domain would kill for it as Forging Designs for Magic Devices above Bronze rank were very rare even in such a vast space with millions of worlds spread throughout it.
Of course, there were still plenty of them, and even a large number of Designs for Magic Devices above Mysterious-Iron rank. However, most of those Designs had already been secured by other powers in the past, or lost in action, while the remaining sources of high-ranking Magic Devices were nowhere near sufficient for all of the powers and players across the Greater God's Domain.
"Learn this Design and have Melancholic send you over all of the necessary materials and personnel to make the Magic Devices. This is the new top priority for Candlelight to make. Try to forge a thousand of them as soon as possible." Saying so, Feng handed the Magic Device Forging Design to Cocoa.
As a former Craftsman Forger and currently a Grandmaster ranked one, Cream Cocoa shouldn't have much trouble making Mysterious-Iron Magic Devices, so there weren't any problems when it came to the forging part of the Magic Device's creation.
Aside from forging, though, there were also aspects of the Magic Device's Design that needed Alchemy and Engineering in order to complete all the necessary parts and assemble the ancient weapon.
Thankfully, the Candlelight Trading Firm had plenty of restored members for most Subclasses, including Alchemists and Engineers who had already reached the ranks of Intermediate Masters.
With them working together, creating 1,000 Magic Devices should only take a few days, at which point Cocoa could use Creator's Rights to duplicate the Mysterious-Iron rank Magic Device Forging Design.
Since that would technically be a brand new Design, there was a chance that Blessing of Creation could be used once again to improve its rank to Secret-Silver. If it worked, Feng could repeat the process and make a copy of the Secret-Silver Design after someone learned it and made one thousand Secret-Silver Magic Devices, upgrading it to Fine-Gold rank as well, repeat, and then obtain a Dark-Gold Magic Device Design.
As far as Feng knew, only the Seven Luminaries Alliance possesses a Dark-Gold Magic Device Forging Design, and maybe some other Apex Powers that have chosen to keep it hidden.
That meant that, while the strongest human power in the Greater God's Domain has only a single Dark-Gold Magic Device Design, which had already been learned by a player who was tasked with attempting to make them nonstop, Zero Wing could potentially have an infinite number of such Magic Device Designs.
Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to make a copy of the Dark-Gold ranked Design as, at the moment, the Book of Creation could only copy Designs of up to Fine-Gold rank. That may change in the future as Feng repairs the Book of Creation; but even with just the Dark-Gold one, Feng had ways to upgrade the Magic Devices' rank during creation, or through other means afterwards.
Though, it might completely fail, as Feng wasn't certain of how such a situation would work, and the copied Design might still be counted as one on which Blessing of Creation had been used before, meaning that the skill's effects would drastically diminish and its rank would not be upgraded.
It was still an unknown outcome for now, and Feng will just have to wait and see until Cocoa finishes making one thousand Magic Devices.
Cocoa sighed as she realized more busy days were ahead of her despite her already being slumped with lots of other work all this time ever since her memories had been restored, learning the Mysterious-Iron Magic Device Forging Design and looking through its instructions without any complaints.
Feng left Cocoa's Forging Room after giving her the task and traveled to White River City's Library. It was finally time to deal with the first Epic Quest that Feng had triggered once again and regain ownership of the Bible of Darkness.
Inside White River City's Library:
After entering the Library, Feng headed towards the building's top floor.
Two Level 180 Tier 2 White Robe Knights stood by the doors. Normally, ordinary players would not dare approach the Star-Moon Hall. However, Feng had long since become a frequent visitor of this place. Without hesitation, he walked past the Knights and opened the doors to the hall.
There was no one inside to greet him though, as Sharlyn seemed to not be here at the moment.
But that didn't come as much of a surprise to Feng, since her main body was at the Stargazing Tower, while the Creation Goddess currently didn't have the power to conjure and manipulate multiple clones as she had done during the previous timeline with Sharlyn always having one stationed at White River City's Library so that he could contact her.
After giving Feng her Full Blessing, Sharlyn had merely paid a visit to the Library in order to see how Feng's Class Change Quest went and if he was having any trouble adapting to the changes brought about by the Full Blessing.
Now, in order to recover as quickly as possible, the Goddess of Creation spent most of her time cooped up in Blackwing City where she had the best environment available.
This would normally be a bit of a troublesome situation since Feng couldn't contact her from the Library and would instead have to make a trip to the Blackwing City, get Sharlyn's permission to go to her, and only then get down to business.
Feng, however, knew of a secret shortcut that Sharlyn had created to get to the Stargazing Tower from this Library. Only, she had never told him about it. At least not in this timeline, so this version of the Creation Goddess was most likely not aware that Feng was no stranger to many of her secrets.
Walking over to one of the bookshelves, Feng moved a few inconspicuous books out of the way to reveal the bookshelf's wooden backboard. Although it was of high quality, there didn't seem to be anything unusual about the bookshelf; until Feng activated the Eyes of Truth.
His Identification Skill revealed a small Magic Array engraved on the bookshelf, which glowed as Feng poured some Mana into it and activated the Magic Array.
A moment later, Feng turned into a beam of light and disappeared from White River City's Library.
---
Blackwing City, Stargazing Tower
When Feng's vision returned, a quiet and simple room with multiple bookshelves spread throughout it appeared before him, the room's design being fairly easy to recognize for Feng.
Before Feng could properly gather his bearings and announce his arrival, an attack at the Tier 5 standard suddenly flew at him from behind.
BOOM!
Reacting on instinct, Feng activated Absolute Domain, turning himself invincible and negating the incoming attack. He still got sent flying across the room, though, breaking a bookshelf in the process and crashing into a wall.
"Is this how you greet guests?" Casually walking out from the wrecked furniture and damaged area while completely unharmed from the powerful attack, Feng commented on Sharlyn's rude actions, who looked at him in irritation.
"Why the hell would you just appear in my room without contacting me first? I thought you were an intruder." Sharlyn relaxed in her seat upon confirming it was just Feng, albeit still exasperated that he suddenly teleported here out of nowhere, "Who just randomly shows up in a lady's room like that? Don't you have some manners? Wait, this is the Stargazing Tower, how did you even teleport here?"
Ever since giving Feng her Full Blessing and entering a very weakened state, Sharlyn had been feeling anxious due to the sense of weakness that she was experiencing.
From the moment that she was born into the world as a natural-born God, even while only at Tier 0, Sharlyn had never felt that she was powerless, or that something was beyond her.
If there was a problem, she just had to get stronger, become more powerful, and deal with it. Always acting in a confident and slightly arrogant manner that didn't place those inferior to herself in the Creation Goddess's eyes. Never having any fear of death or taking it seriously.
Even while in life-or-death situations where her life was on the line, or the time she did actually die while choosing to use her body in order to seal away the gate to the Endless Abyss in this world, Sharlyn never felt so hopeless.
A part of Sharlyn's confidence came from the fact that, aside from her strength and skills, she was a natural-born who possessed a God Factor; making her practically invincible.
Although losing her physical God Factor after her death put Sharlyn in a bit of a bad spot, she didn't think much of it as she still had her soul God Factor to prevent any real harm from coming to her even if she were to face off against a Primordial God.
Now, however, with her remaining God Factor being drastically weakened and its energy drained, Sharlyn felt a sense of danger from the world around her.
In her current state, a powerful enough enemy would be capable of completely eradicating her soul even with the God Factor being indestructible, truly killing her.
Hence, the formerly prideful and confident Goddess of Creation had become so paranoid due to the feeling of helplessness welling up inside her that she now spends all her time relaxing in the Stargazing Tower; away from any potential danger as she waits for her power to slowly recover.
When she suddenly sensed someone appear in her room without any prior notice or expectations, it had genuinely startled Sharlyn, and she immediately fired out a Tier 4 Curse at the intruding figure.
It being merely Feng put Sharlyn's mind at ease, but she was still concerned with how he had managed to teleport inside her room, thinking of ways to prevent a repeat of this situation.
"It's not my fault you suddenly left and became a shut-in without giving me any way to contact you. As for how I got here, you left the back door unlocked." Giving a nonsensical explanation for his actions, Feng walked over to Sharlyn and retrieved the Bible of Darkness from his bag, handing it over to her. "Anyway, I got this thing."
Sharlyn wanted to ask Feng to elaborate on what he just said, but the pitch-black tome in his hands pulled away her attention and made the Goddess forget about Feng's words.
"You have actually obtained it!" Sharlyn could not help but reevaluate her opinion of Feng. "And here I thought you would bring me a replica to help you solve your problem. Though, I suppose it's as expected considering that you're a reincarnator."
Accepting the Bible of Darkness from Feng, Sharlyn inspected it in admiration and continued to speak "Even though the Bible has been destroyed, it still holds boundless power. There are countless powerhouses who wish to obtain it. In the past, plenty of strong people tried going to the Dark Den to obtain the Bible of Darkness. In the end, however, they only managed to return with replicas.
"Even so, a replica of the Bible of Darkness still possesses a certain degree of power. There are no problems with using it to solve your Great Demon problem. Only, at the end of the day, a replica is still a replica.
"But this is the real deal. You really are quite a capable fellow. I'm glad my Blessing wasn't wasted on you." Sharlyn nodded, smiling as she scrutinized the Bible of Darkness. She then continued, "Since you brought me the genuine article, I'll give you two options.
"The first option is free of charge. With this option, you'll be able to solve the problem of the Great Demon descending on you.
"The second option will cost you 1,500 Gold and 100 Soul Crystals. For this option, you can be done once and for all, destroying the Great Demon that targets you. However, I must warn you that this option is very dangerous as I won't be able to assist you in the fight."
"Naturally, I choose the second option. But don't you only need the Soul Crystals for the Demon Summoning? Why do I have to pay with Gold as well? Aren't we friends?" Feng had already prepared the necessary funds before coming here and didn't care much about such an insignificant amount of money, but he still jokingly asked Sharlyn, questioning their friendship.
"Friendship doesn't pay rent, Feng." Sharlyn indifferently dismissed Feng's words with an outstretched hand, which made a hand-it-over gesture.
Feng just passed her the 1,500 Gold Coins and 100 Soul Crystals. Sharlyn didn't need to actually explain anything for Feng to understand.
How could someone with Sharlyn's power and status possibly be lacking money?
Or to such an extent that she'd bother going through the trouble of summoning a demon and helping Feng out for just a measly 1,500 Gold?
Money was one of the last things on Sharlyn's mind. A God does not concern themself with such trivial matters.
However, God's Domain worked on a system of high risk, high reward, and especially on equivalent exchange.
One hundred Soul Stones were required for the Demon Summoning, so Sharlyn would be doing all this practically for free, with no benefit to herself, if she were to not ask for anything in return.
That wasn't equivalent exchange, and the Main God's System wouldn't allow for an NPC to biasedly provide that much help to a player for free.
A thousand and five hundred Gold Coins were nothing for this kind of service as well, but it was somewhat sufficient enough for Sharlyn to work around the rules and offer Feng the second option.
In fact, all this time, although it was technically a reward for being the first player to clear a Hell Mode Party Dungeon, Sharlyn had been giving Feng an unfair advantage over the other players of this God's Domain for things in return that weren't nearly as valuable or equal exchange.
It had made some trouble for Feng in his previous life due to Sharlyn always putting it so that he could just barely afford it, needing to make it possible and very challenging for him at the same time in order for it to not be too easy or obvious that she was giving Feng a hand-out for a price many times less than what it was actually worth.
The Creation Goddess had greatly helped him in such a way during the previous timeline, and he would have been pretty much screwed without her assistance and making the impossible possible.
Using his experience and knowledge about dealing with Sharlyn, Feng had reduced his losses as much as possible in this life, and the 1,500 necessary Gold Coins were naturally easy for him to hand over.
Sharlyn received the Coins and Soul Crystals with a faint smile, asking for confirmation once again "Are you sure that you can handle this? Once I begin the Demon Summoning, there will be no turning back."
"Don't worry about it. Just leave the matter to me." Feng answered casually without thinking much about it.
Though, it did seem a bit strange that Sharlyn was giving out so many warnings about this, unlike what had happened in the previous timeline, and Feng couldn't help but feel like he was forgetting something.
Nodding with satisfaction, Sharlyn said, "Alright, step back."
Following Sharlyn's request, Feng moved more than thirty yards away from her.
Meanwhile, Sharlyn held up the Bible of Darkness. After flipping through a few pages, she began chanting a series of incantations, her hand continuously tracing out a line of runes in the air.
As the line of runes grew longer, the Power of Darkness filling the room grew denser and denser, to the point where Feng could even see faint black mist appear. This black mist desperately gathered in front of Sharlyn, forming a fourfold Magic Array. The surrounding space began to blur as well. The powerful Mana was even capable of slightly suppressing the space within the Stargazing Tower's room.
After Sharlyn finished writing the runes, she casually scattered the 100 Soul Crystals before her. Immediately, all 100 Soul Crystals transformed into gray smoke. This gray smoke then formed a pair of silvery-gray gates. There were countless images of Demons engraved on these ancient gates, and every one of these Demons was quite famous throughout God's Domain. These were existences that even ordinary Tier 4 powerhouses would not dare provoke.
Sharlyn's golden eyes then shifted to the gray gates. "In the name of Darkness, I summon thee! Emerge, Great Demon Kildred!"
The moment Sharlyn finished speaking, the gray gates abruptly opened.
"Who dares to summon me?" A cold, dark voice boomed through the gray gates.
Following which, a figure pushed through the gray gates. This figure sported a large pair of black bat wings and two pitch-black goat horns on his head. Pitch-black scales covered his entire body, and killing intent filled his blood-red eyes.
The moment Kildred appeared, he surveyed his surroundings with his blood-red eyes, and he could not help but sneer at what he saw.
"And here I wondered who had summoned me. It turns out that it's just a Great Divine Official, and that foolish Adventurer," Kildred said disdainfully as he flapped his wings. "I did not expect that little ants like you could actually obtain the real Bible of Darkness. As your reward for summoning me, I'll collect your souls and the Bible."
When Feng heard Kildred words, something seemed to finally click in his mind, and he remembered that, due to giving him her Full Blessing, Sharlyn was only at Tier 4 right now, unlike the Tier 5 Red Official which she had been in the previous timeline while summoning Kildred. Meaning...
'Oh... shit-'
"Ye Feng, I won't be able to do anything else in my current state, so I'll entrust you with killing him." Sharlyn informed as she looked at Feng. She paid no attention to the Great Demon Kildred's provocation and stepped away from the fight; seemingly believing that Feng had some sort of plan for dealing with the Tier 4 Great Demon.
Little did she know...
"You wish to kill me, the Great Demon Kildred?! You two must be insane! I'll show you what the consequences are for summoning a Great Demon!" Kildred revealed a malicious grin upon hearing Sharlyn's words. Suddenly, black flames appeared in his hand.
The raging black flames quickly transformed into a ferocious beast that bared its fangs and brandished its claws as it pounced on Sharlyn.
Sharlyn's expression changed as the Soul Fire quickly fell down on her. Even Tier 4 classes would find it difficult to deal with Soul Fire controlled by a Great Demon, and although Sharlyn would normally be much more powerful than a regular Tier 4 being even while she was at only Tier 4, in her current weakened state, as well as after expending a lot of effort and Mana to summon Kildred, leaving her a bit exhausted, she didn't have the ability to fend off Kildered's Soul Fire.
This made it for quite a bad situation to be in, as Soul Fire would further damage her already very weakened soul, possibly even killing her.
As the ferocious beast made of black Soul Fire was about to reach Sharlyn and she prepared to put up some kind of desperate defense, a wall of similar flames suddenly appeared in front of the Creation Goddess, blocking the Soul Fire from reaching her.
"Welp, this is certainly a predicament to be in." Feng scratched the back of his head as he stood in front of Sharyn, shielding her from the Great Demon, while the Pandemonium Lashblade in his hand burned with Destruction Soul Fire. Feng then used the Eyes of Truth on the demon.
[Kildred] (Demonic Creature, Great Demon)
Level 180
HP 70,000,000,000/70,000,000,000
Feng had finally clued in on why Sharlyn had been so concerned about summoning the Great Demon and asked him for confirmation.
In his previous life, Sharlyn had been a Tier 5 Red Official while summoning Kildred, a being far more powerful than the demon who could easily crush him at the time, and she had used God's Twilight, a Tier 5 Curse, which forcefully suppresses all beings above Tier 2 within God's Twilight's effective area by two Tiers, along with their Levels lowering as well.
This Tier 5 Curse that could rival the power of a Tier 6 God-ranked spell had reduced Kildred to a Tier 2 Evil Spirit on the same Level as Feng, which Feng then defeated with a bit of effort, killing Kildred and eliminating the threat of the Great Demon constantly descending upon him and being a nuisance.
Now, however, Sharlyn was only a Tier 4 Great Divine Official. There was no way she could use God's Twilight in her current state, meaning that Feng was left to his own devices in dealing with Kildred.
Knowing that she won't be able to help him after summoning the Great Demon, Sharlyn had tried to warn Feng about it, but seeing him so confident about the matter made the Goddess think that Feng already knew that and had some sort of plan in mind.
What Sharlyn didn't know was that Feng, used to things like these being the same as in the previous timeline, had completely forgotten that she would not be able to weaken Kildred.
Faced with a demon 81 levels and 3 tiers higher than him, while Feng was still in a Heavily Weakened state with only 20% of his attributes, even Feng stood no chance at winning. Just the Great Demon passing Level 100 would prove to be great trouble, not to mention him hitting several important thresholds like Level 120, Level 150, and Level 180.
Even if Kildred was the same Level as him, though, Feng would not be able to defeat the Great Demon while 80% of his attributes were suppressed. Originally, him being in a Heavily Weakened state hadn't concerned Feng, as even with only a fifth of his normal attributes, Feng wouldn't have any trouble killing a Tier 2 Evil Spirit; or even a Tier 3 Demon.
But a Great Demon was an entirely different matter, especially when it was a Level 180 one like Kildred.
Thankfully, there were solutions for all of this, and Feng had just recently acquired something that would be very clutch in this situation.
"Sharlyn, I need you to use this to decrease Kildred's Level." Saying so, Feng took out a golden scale from his bag and passed it to Sharlyn.
At first, Sharlyn was confused by Feng's words, but when she saw the scale in his hands, a surprised expression appeared on the Creation Goddess's face.
"How did you get your hands on the Equliazing Libra?" Taking the Legendary Tool from Feng, Sharlyn inspected it closely, immediately recognizing the golden scale.
"You know about this thing?" Feng wasn't expecting Sharlyn to be familiar with the item, as he had never heard of it in his previous life nor did he ever hear Sharlyn mention it.
"Of course I'm familiar with it. After all, I'm the one who created the Equalizing Libra in the first place, before giving it to Sophia," Speaking matter of factly, Sharlyn grew more relaxed and poured some Mana into the Legendary item "It's fortunate that you managed to obtain it. With the Libra, this battle will be much easier-"
"Damn humans! You dare to turn your back to me and chat so merrily?!" Kildered grew enraged as he watched Feng and Sharlyn casually chat and completely ignore his presence, shouting out and interrupting Sharlyn as a dense Power of Darkness gathered around him.
Kildred had previously been shocked to see a mere Tier 1 Swordsman block his Soul Fire attack, so he paused his assault and observed Feng more closely, quickly realizing that it wasn't through the human's own power that he had stopped the Soul Fire, but by using the pitch-black sword in his hand.
The Demon Sword gave Kildred a strong impression, and he wanted to question Feng about the sword, but the two humans proceeded to ignore him and chat like the Great Demon wasn't even there.
Feeling insulted, Kildred stopped caring about the sword and prepared to incinerate both Feng and Sharlyn simultaneously with a stronger attack.
"About now would be perfect." Seeing the Level 180 Great Demon about to attack once again, Feng urged Sharlyn on.
Nodding, Sharlyn poured most of her remaining Mana into the Equlazing Libra, choosing to activate Fair Combat with Kildred as the target for suppression.
A magic circle suddenly appeared in Sharlyn's room, the three of them being within the circle's radius. A giant, illusionary golden scale then appeared, with Sharlyn being on one of the weights and Kildred on the other; which was higher than Sharlyn's.
In the next moment, the two weights moved, evening out so that they were perfectly matched, while Kildred's Level fell.
Level 180... Level 170... Level 160...
In a short moment, the Great Demon Kildred had fallen down to Level 99; the same as Feng.
Even though Sharlyn was greatly weakened, she was still at Level 200 and Tier 4, so there were no problems with her suppressing Kildred and reducing his Level by one hundred; only, since Feng was Level 99, she could only lower the Great Demon's to 99 as well.
On top of being weakened and using Demon Summoning a few moments ago, activating the skill caused Sharlyn to become exhausted, and even if she were allowed to fight, there wouldn't be anything she could do to assist Feng.
"Little ant, just because I have been suppressed to Level 99, do you really think that a mere Tier 1 Swordsman like you has a chance of defeating me?" Despite noticing the decrease in his Level, Kildred didn't seem at all concerned.
The Great Demon had easily identified the item in the Great Divine Official's hands as the source of his suppression, and that she was no longer a threat after doing whatever that was to reduce his Level.
Feng was the only real opponent remaining, but Kildred didn't even entertain the idea of a Tier 1 human posing any sort of danger to a Great Demon like himself.
And in this particular situation, Kildred was actually right.
Normally, under regular circumstances, Feng would be fully capable of killing a Great Demon on the same Level, but with only 20% of his attributes, he didn't have the strength to fight Kildred. Using his skills might allow him to defend himself for a bit and perhaps counterattack, but that would only be delaying the inevitable.
But that was under the condition Feng was playing fair.
Without paying any attention to the Great Demon's insults, Feng retrieved a crystal ball containing a fog of total darkness within it from his bag.
In the next moment, a beautiful woman wearing a maid's outfit materialized into existence in front of Feng.
The moment Celestina appeared, both Kildred and Sharlyn froze in surprise with astonishment on their faces. For different reasons, though.
Kildred felt an extremely dense and pure Power of Darkness radiating from the girl that had just appeared before him, a deep fear rooting from his soul and Bloodline making the Great Demon tremble slightly.
Yet, he couldn't understand why.
"Who are you?!" Unnerved by the feeling he sensed coming from the violet-haired woman, Kildred asked in a demanding tone.
But his shout caused a displeased expression to appear on Celestina's face.
"A lowlife like yourself dares to ask the identity of this Empress? This new generation of demons has no respect for their ancestors." The Demon Empress's aura suddenly spiked, the power of her demonic Bloodline erupting for all to see as the illusion hiding her wings, tail, and horns dissipated; no longer able to maintain itself.
Her aura spiking caused Kildred to take an unconscious step back, realizing that the opponent he was facing was something far beyond his expectations, and he internally wondered who this demon girl really is.
Before he could ask anything else, however, Celestina made her move.
Catching the Pandemonium Lashblade that was tossed to her from behind in one hand while it was still covered in Soul Fire, the Demon Empress disappeared, reappearing in front of Kildred with the chain sword's length spreading out to over twenty yards as she swung it in waves at the Great Demon.
Technically speaking, both Celestina and Kldred were Level 99 Tier 4 Great Demons, so a fight between them should be somewhat close.
That was in no way the actual case when it came to someone of the Demon Empress's status though. If it was another Tier 4 creature, they might have at least been able to put up a fight, but not a demon.
The suppression Kildred faced due to the difference in their Bloodlines was so severe that he couldn't even resist.
He could only watch as the Pandemonium Lashblade slashed him apart with its many edges. Just before his death, as he looked at Celestina's figure and the Demon Sword slaying him, a legend he had once heard resurfaced in Kildred's mind.
Although he wished to say something, it was already too late.
Feng received some EXP as Celestina killed Kildred, but he stopped himself from reaching Level 100.
System: A Tier 4 Great Demon's heart has been detected. Do you wish to allow the Pandemonium Lashblade to absorb the Great Demon's heart?
Pressing "Agree" without any hesitation, a pitch-black aura spread out from the Pandemonium Lashblade as soon as Feng agreed and rapidly advanced through the air towards Kildred's corpse. Enveloping whatever was left of the Great Demon, the dark aura, along with the Pandemonium Lashblade, seemed to release a pulse.
This continued for a couple of seconds, the pulses growing stronger with each passing moment, until the pitch-black aura retracted into the Demon Sword, whose pressure increased ever so slightly after absorbing Kildred's heart.
Seeing her Demon Sword finish devouring the Demon Heart, Celestina turned around and started walking over to Feng.
In the meantime, Sharlyn voiced her concerns.
"Feng, why is the Demon Empress here? What's your relationship with her and the demon race." The Creation Goddess's tone was no longer as friendly as before as she questioned Feng. Unlike Kildred, she had instantly recognized Celestina the moment she appeared, as although they had never met in person, Sharlyn was very familiar with the other woman.
Being a creature belonging to the Forces of Light, there was nothing more that Sharlyn detested than creatures like demons. Celestina, being the former Empress of the demon race, was her natural enemy, and it greatly disturbed her that Feng seemed to have been carrying her around with him all this time.
Depending on his answer, Feng might become her enemy regardless of whether he possesses her Full Blessing or not.
"Oh, Celestina? I came across her by chance and trapped her soul. Now she serves me." Feng naturally knew about Sharlyn's disposition towards Celestina, so he, not wanting to become enemies with her, avoided mentioning various details such as him and the Demon Empress signing a contract for Feng to help her recover her strength; only speaking about the matter of Celestina serving him.
Sharlyn didn't seem to be completely convinced, but before she could question Feng any further, Celestina walked over.
"The fuck are you two whispering about?" After taking out her bottled-up rage on that poor demon, Celestina seemed to have relaxed a bit, but seeing Feng's face made her expression instantly sour.
When the Demon Empress glanced at Sharlyn, though, she paused.
"Hey, girl, have we met before?" A thoughtful look appeared on Celestina's face, searching through her memories as she pondered on why this woman looked so familiar.
Sharlyn frowned slightly, unsure of what Celestina was talking about, since this was the first time she and the Demon Empress were speaking face to face.
Feng, on the other hand, said a second internal "Oh shit" today, knowing where this was going if Celestina managed to recognize Sharlyn, and that things were about to turn south.
"Oh, wait. I know who you are. You're the Goddess of Creation, right?" As if realizing something, Celestina's previous expression was replaced with an extremely disdainful one "I thought that, since the two of you looked alike, that you'd be somewhat strong as well, but you're not nearly as impressive as your sister."
The moment those words left Celestina's mouth, Sharlyn's expression darkened to an extreme extent, having a look that even Feng had rarely seen, as the temperature in the room dropped to a freezing point.
