24 UNIQUE MONSTER
The goblin seemed to be very startled by the sudden appearance of the man they've been searching all this time.
But it didn't waste any time and leaped onto the direction where Kent was at with a dagger in hand, the goblin didn't hesitate on striking.
The attack was sudden, but Kent was able to react in time quickly moving to the right side, yet he couldn't perfectly avoid the sudden attack within such an enclosed space not to say the moment it notices him the monster is far too close.
A small cut was made on the left cheek.
[You have been poisoned]
[You have resisted]
The cut might be small, but the dagger has a poison on it, thankfully Kent has resistance against such weak ass poisons.
"I was unable to detect him where did this little guy came from, wait don't tell me a unique monster?"
Kent thought as he wasn't able to notice the unique goblin before suddenly appearing near him ending up to this situation.
He immediately unsheathes his sword, using it trying to parry off another barrage of attacks.
Ding! Ding! Ding.
The goblin sent an attack after an attack, the loud sound of metal clashing against each other continue to rang out within the narrow pathway.
Hearing this familiar sound, the nearest goblins quickly run straight to where the loud noise came from.
Exchanging swords Kent notice something peculiar, for every sword clash they made in contact the unique goblin's attacks became more in heavier and faster.
The goblin is also quite skillful to hold long almost lasting a minute against him just by using an old-looking dagger, seeing this and hearing the closing reinforcements Kent quickly decided to make a move preparing a sword technique.
However, just as he was about to perform a sword technique preparing for a sword stance the unique goblin he has been fighting all this time out of nowhere quickly back off.
To the unique goblin's action Kent was taken aback, unable to put his mind whether to laugh or cry, the little monster didn't just possess a good set of traits and skills it also has an unbelievably heightened instinct.
He followed suit, not giving the little monster a chance to escape, the unique goblin could only try to dodge and run it didn't bother fighting back unlike before.
Kent's assaults had become more and more deadlier as the chase continues.
Two more minutes had passed, yet he still couldn't achieve a successful attack to the unique goblin, some goblins had tried doing a sneak attack trying their luck but was easily dealt.
Unlike the unique goblin the other ones were just an ordinary goblin worker and goblin scouts at the Superior F Tier Level Earth Category monster.
Kent is currently level 5, others of the same level might not able to perform as well as him but, unlike them Kent is one's a Supreme Master in both Swordsmanship and Martial Arts.
He had more experience than any other people in the world.
Fighting a dozen or so Superior F Tier Level Earth Category monsters isn't that of a big deal for him.
A few more minutes passed by Kent couldn't rack his brain to how was the goblin able to survive and predict his attacks.
He could see that the goblin is struggling and desperate it couldn't even think properly, it could have just lure him to their leader and asked for help, but it didn't do showing that it isn't a clever one.
Kent didn't know that if the unique goblin is to do that the Troll who enslaved them would sure to torture it until its death.
The unique goblin is more afraid of being tortured to the death.
Kent could see that while the unique goblin is being pushed back, the longer the fight continues the stronger the guy is becoming, the monster begun to adjust to his phase.
Seeing this a sudden memory come to mind.
"Don't tell me th-this guy, t-the phantom Oni."
His thoughts gave him the chills.
Kent's assumed that the unique goblin in front of him is the same legendary creature in his past life to be one.
Similar to how humans can evolve in New Genesis monsters and other creatures could also do the same, in such terms others were even faster.
Goblins themselves could evolve and become an Oni, a creature considered as a divine being.
Kent couldn't help but look straight to the eyes of the unique goblin trying to discern something, and as their eyes meet Kent could see a faint golden glint coming from it.
"Golden precognition eyes, this one is the real deal. I need to kill this little guy before it grow stronger."
Kent's thought change.
In his mind, killing the unique goblin, that could become the phantom Oni is a must top-priority.

Phantom Oni an unforgettable well-known Legend in his past life, a creature too strong that it took millions for both new Inhabitants and inhabitants of sacrifices to subjugate.
The creature is a catastrophe class monster but has the power to overpowered creatures of the same rank, the monster is considered as a true god, as it possessing a pure divine attribute.
No one knew where it came from, as out of nowhere in just two weeks more than 3 kingdoms, the Moonlight Kingdom and its other two neighboring kingdoms had vanished without a trace left.

New Inhabitants – were people of the other worlds that's on the same circumstances just like for Earthlings, they've experienced the same Apocalypse Genesis in their world and was force to evacuate in the Arcane World.

Kent didn't continue to chase after the running unique goblin, he stopped, closing both of his eyes, inhaling then exhaling.
The future phantom Oni seeing this and the other goblins that had waited for an opportunity to strike felt the need to step back.
"I am sorry, but I wouldn't want the same history to repeat itself, I will seal your fate."
Kent said in a serious tone, his expression is cold and impassive as no emotions can be seen in his eyes.
He slowly put back the common rated double edge sword into its scabbard.
Seeing this strange action Kent took, the goblins thought that this is a great opportunity.
They didn't care what's running inside the enemy's mind, they couldn't just let such an opportunity to slip.
Several goblins rushed straight pointing their weapons wanting to quickly end Kent's life.
Kent ignored them, his eyes didn't leave the unique goblin.
"If you could predict my attacks beforehand, then try predicting this one."
A strange eerie cold air spread throughout the surroundings, out of nowhere chills started running down their spines, the rushing goblins couldn't help but halt then slowly step back farther out of instinct.
Kent activated both [Twilight] and [Bloodlust] at the same time coating these two powerful essences onto his common rated double edge sword.
The surrounding essence begun to tremble the space shows sign of distortion.
The very air vibrate, ground shook, flames from the torches rise, everyone's warmed blood turned cold.
The goblins watching and feeling this strange changes in the surroundings looked at Kent's direction in horror.
The essence that destroys, nullifies and ignores the very laws and authority of every essence, a power that defies the very authority and power of others, the Twilight.
The essence that grows for every life it takes, the power of madness and slaughter, the Bloodlust.
