A Weird Reincarnation If It's Considered One

In an apartment complex, near in one of the most prestigious Universities in the state. A boy woke up facing the scorching sun with a frown on his face. He tried to cover it up with his blanket somehow, yet to no avail this does not elevate the situation in any other way. So he stood up heading to the Bathroom.

Daniel then took his phone on the table near his bed, and do his business while sitting comfortably while checking the notification and updates on his phones. He checked and read the latest news and any other related activity to himself. This has become his usual routine as a Computer Science Student everyday. He was taught by his professors that first hand information is one the most important thing to have as it was considered an advantage towards his peers.

As he was checking the novel section in his phone, Daniel then realized that one of his favorite novel is missing, Daniel then check if he accidentally deleted it somehow. Daniel then check it again and again, he checks the internet, the application himself, the previous history. He didn't find any clues regarding it.

Daniel then found out that it does not exist at all, no matter what he tried as if it doesn't exist in the first place. Daniel then got an idea, he tried to call one of his friends and he was shocked that even his friend does not know a single thing about it. They were laughing at him like he's an idiot for asking such a random question.

Daniel then threw his phone on the sofa near the TV.

He felt weird that something is different in this morning, or something weird happened in the world that he didn't know like he was left out. Daniel then sat on his sofa for a few minutes thinking deeply.

"As a graduating student, I only need a thesis this semester" Daniel thought to himself.

Daniel needed a thesis that will give him a ticket to the technological world, a thesis that would be the foundation for his future career as a computer scientist. He thought about this problem for the whole summer and yet to have a conclusion.

Daniel then looks for the remote for the TV. He turned it on and switch the channel to the national news. He stood up and walks towards the kitchen and make a simple sandwich and a glass of a chocolate drink he then walked back to the sofa and watch the news and was shocked of what he discover that he almost drop his food on the ground.

"Feature News! A new game has been released!"

"A game with the latest technological breakthrough in which uses Virtual Reality" the TV then showed highlights of the game and the technology itself.

"Headlines: God's Domain is expected to be released after three months!"

"Join the hype and visit the website and be one of the lucky winners of the rare special capsules with free Nutrient Drinks! Only with limited slots!"

Daniel was stupefied by what he saw, the game God Domain. It shouldn't exist in this world at all, yet he sees it with his own eyes.

"Damn, why the hell is it here. Am I hallucinating?" Daniel then touch his head if he has a cold. He realized then that he might be crazy.

"Why didn't I find any reference to this game when I search it?" Daniel then pondered and realized that it was just released.

"It's so restricted that the internet didn't have the first hand information about it, " Daniel find it so peculiar that his thoughts filled with wild imagination about the game.

Daniel then cannot conclude a proper conclusion so he put it on the back of his head.

As he was about to sit, he heard his phone rung so loud that woke him up in thoughts.

"Hey Daniel! The game you were just saying was on the news, How did you know about it?" his friend was shouting so much that he felt his ear might bleed.

Daniel was in a pinch on what to say, then he realized that he needed to make a fake reason somehow.

"Nothing, I just found some early news, no need to fret about it, " Daniel then kept on making ridiculous reason until they could stop.

After some time they finally stop inquiring and give up.

"Why is the game is in this world? Is it somehow connected to me? Or is it just mere coincidence"

"Well, only time could tell!" Daniel then ate his breakfast. He has a class in the afternoon, so he prepared what he needed while thinking about the game, thinking what he should do.

He came to the school around 1:30 in the afternoon, as he was walking in the hallways, he heard the people talking about the same thing, the game God's Domain, people were so hyped about it that all the related topics is about the game itself.

He then arrived at his class and his classmates also talk about it. One classmate walk towards him, then shouted.

"Daniel, do you know the game God's Domain? You kept on asking us about it this morning" then more people came, this has been his friends since his freshman years.

"Yes, I heard it on the news too!" Daniel then just feign ignorance to question that our directly about the game because it would make the impression that he is weird that he know something before they do.

They then talk about it for half an hour until the professor arrived. The classes ended around 5:30 in the late afternoon. He and his friends planned to drink in a bar, they found one then talk about the game all the way until they separated until they got home.

Daniel was fairly drunk, but he still has a rational mind. This is one of the traits that he liked about himself. He can hold his own drink. He then arrived at his apartment, went to a fridge and drink a cup of chocolate drink.

"Wahhh! This is really one my favorite drink!" Daniel then went to his desk and organize his thoughts of what happened today.

"Seems like the world in the RSSG and the world he resided fused somehow. But the world in the era was advance" There are a lot of thing he has yet to understand.

It becomes weirder after he thought about it more.

"There's nothing I can do about it. As one of the most novel that I really liked, I'm deeply happy that it becomes reality, even if there are a lot of questions unanswered. No one knows that I am the most excited about it, " Daniel then laugh and smile for the next few minutes thinking of the game.

"Wait, if I have some first hand information like how my professors talk about it then I have the advantages that others do not, " Daniel then thought about the original protagonist have done.

"I need to prepare, I still have 3 months. As I remembered an top elite or expert players needed a fit and healthy body for the game, seems like I need to take care of my body. I also needed to learn basic Martial arts, seems like I need to find a dojo and hone my senses."

"Even if 3 months is not enough for me to have a major change, it is enough for a firm foundation than other peole,everything starts from the scratch"

Daniel then writes in his computer all the information he knows about the game.

"Hmm, if this technology exists now. Does it mean that some people have this technology. Seems like I need to use my connections"

Nobody knows the real Identity of Daniel, they only thought of him as a normal handsome youth taking his college degree as a normal student would. Daniel's Lee middle name is Stark, a family renowned for its technology advancement when it comes to Artificial Intelligence.

Daniel Lee was also the next heir of their company, Stark Enterprise, and he is also the grandson of the city governor in which he and his friends reside in. He doesn't know much about his father as he rarely sees him since he was born. His mother was the CEO of the current company, she is always travelling internationally. He also rarely sees her, still he is closer to his mom than his dad as they call each other from time to time.

Then why did Daniel have to live this way? Why does Daniel doesnt live happily and spoil his riches like a normal stubborn kid. Because he has ambition for himself and he himself volunteered and talk about this with his grandparents.

He still vaguely remembers when he talks about this with his grandparents.

"Say, what do you want?" Howard Stark laugh out so loud that the people working in the villa hear it.

"My grandson, it's unexpected that the first request you ask me is to live a normal life" Howard then pondered while Maria stark came in.

"What is it, why do you still need me to come here?" Maria Stark came into the hall and saw his grandson. She then walks towards Daniel then hug him like a little boy.

"Hi! Grandma, I was just asking a request to grandpa about what to do in high school and college" Daniel also hugs his grandma happily like a boy unlike his age.

As his parents are not always around, he was technically raised by his grandparents when he was a child.

"I really want to take schooling like normal people would, I want to experience hardship without much support, and I'm not rebelling grandma!" Daniel then also talk about his request to his grandma.

"One question: Why do you need to do this?" Howard then become suddenly serious with this question, hiding his concern under his eyes towards his precious grandson.

"Since I was a child, I like reading the most, it gave me the ability to gain new knowledge in just a few hours of reading. Reading the adventures of heroes, stories that contains insights, having experienced a lot of things in different perspective. Then I realized that I want to have my own story and it all starts with the right perspective. So I hope you grant me my wish grandpa, grandma" Daniel then kowtowed towards his grandparents.

Howard then thought for a while, thinking for pros and cons, he then suddenly said.

"Hahahaha then I give my blessing to you, but sometimes you need to visit me and your grandma. Always call us or your grandma would scold me everyday ok?" Howard then hug his grandson.

Every grandparent unconditionally loves their own grandson or their granddaughter more than their son or daughter.

"Don't hesitate to call if there something important you need!" then they headed to dining room and have a happy meal.

After reminiscing his childhood Daniel then smiled.

"I didn't expect to need their assistance in my last year at this university" Daniel then laugh at his desk.

"Seems like I'll fail my challenge towards myself, well, there's nothing we can do about it, " Daniel then thinks if he will call right now or tomorrow. This was an unexpected variable to his plan.

"I'll call tommorow to have a clear head, I might be scolded by grandma if realized that I'm drank"

"I need to alter some of my plans, because this will be a big part of my life, " Daniel then walked towards his bed and lie down gazing at the ceiling thinking of a lot of things.

"This can be considered a blessing to my career as well" Daniel found a new path to himself that he only knows. Something related to God's Domain.

His family's main company, Stark enterprise whose expertise is in Artificial Intelligence. Can be a big help to his ambition.

"I need to call father, but we rarely talked at all, " Daniel sighed, then fell asleep dreaming about his the game.

Daniel woke up lately around 10:30 in the morning. He then repeats his usual routine, drinking a chocolate drink, cooking for himself for a nice brunch. Then Daniel finally finishes everything and called his grandfather through his phone.

"Grandpa, I need help about something" Daniel then explained about his plans to his grandparents.

"Ok, come to the villa. We're gonna talk about it" Howard then laughs, forgetting he is still in the line.

"Maria! Your grandson is coming home!" Daniel then ended the call and smile. He was also happy that he will meet his grandparents after a long while.

Daniel then packed up his necessities and prepared some things that he would bring, then he clean his room while doing it.

"God's Domain, you're my new challenge!"
