Meeting the others

Kryzius stood in the room, gazing out the window. The vast expanse of sky stretched before him, its beauty marred by his confusion.

"Aeti told me to stay here… I wonder why," he mused aloud.

As he waited, he couldn't help but admire the view. It was breathtaking, but oddly, it was only the sky. Were they flying in some sort of aircraft?

His thoughts were interrupted when Aeti entered the room. "Sorry for the wait, Master," she said.

Kryzius turned to face her. In her arms, she carried a long black coat and a large navy hat adorned with a golden wings emblem. The attire seemed enormous, almost too grand for him.

"What is that?" Kryzius asked, his curiosity piqued.

Aeti smiled gently. "This is your uniform, Captain Kryzius Bynodus. It's time for you to take your place as the leader of Vanguard X."

––

Kryzius examined himself in the mirror. The coat was extremely long, perfectly hiding his body, and adorned with huge faux fur shoulders. The navy hat was quite intimidating, its size concealing a portion of his face.

"Jeez, I look like a final boss," he thought, a mix of amusement and unease crossing his mind.

With his robotic form and the imposing outfit, he looked quite creepy, the ensemble transforming him into a formidable figure ready to lead the fight against the Oxtywraiths.

"This was your favorite clothes Master…I hope you still enjoy them." Aeti said with a small bow.

Kryzius turned to her and nodded "It is, thank you aeti." He turn around saw his wagging thick lizard tail. "I love the small detail for the tail as well!"

Aeti chuckled "Yes you had a good taste of style…Now…Are you ready to go and see the others?"

Kryzius stood silent for a moment. "Okay…Let's go."

Kryzius and Aeti walked down the long hallway, their footsteps echoing softly.

"Aeti… where exactly are we?" Kryzius asked, glancing around.

Aeti closed her eyes briefly before answering. "We are on your ship, Master."

"A… ship? In the sky?!" Kryzius asked in surprise.

Aeti smiled and nodded. "This is The Thanatos, a ship that can fly for ages without being drained of energy."

Kryzius looked around in awe, the reality of his situation slowly sinking in. "The Thanatos… incredible," he murmured. "What powers this ship?"

Aeti's eyes sparkled with pride. "The Thanatos is powered by a fusion core, designed to harness the energy of the stars. It's a marvel of Actonian engineering, just like you, Captain."

"Actobian energy..?" Karl repeated, still trying to wrap his mind around the concept.

Aeti nodded. "Yes, Master. It's a type of stellar energy that is extremely rare and powerful. It cannot be drained nor destroyed."

"Wow, that's incredible," Karl said, awe evident in his voice. "So this ship can just keep going forever?"

Aeti smiled. "Indeed, Master. Thanatos is designed to endure and protect. Just like you, Captain Kryzius."

Kryzius's tail wag slowly behind him "Thank you Aeti."

Aeti nodded and they both continued at the only place people were, The outside.
