Chapter 3 Detour

'Boom' their two pods were sent out as Adam watched a large red ball of ki sent to planet vegeta, destroying it and anybody who didn't make it out in time. He also caught a small glimpse of frieza staring down at the planet. Although he knew that there are still some saiyans out there, there were only few in number and thought that their numbers were no longer a threat to him

A few days pass by and broly's and kakarot's space pod flew close to each other. Broly was using this free time to concentrate on controlling his ki so that he can slowly focus it and control it better. At this point, broly only needed to experiment once he landed.

While traveling through space, broly notices another space pod following not too far from them. Instantly, broly had already knew who this person was. It had to be his father paragus. Paragus had a power level of 4100, if he lands on earth, with his strength alone, earth stood no chance against paragus. Broly did not want this to happen, of course he could also easily destroy him but he is still only a child and wasn't used to this small body yet so he wasn't sure if he could fight back.

A month passed and broly saw on his space pod the time left until they reached earth. Seeing no other choice but not, broly slowly got up and struggled to move his body and touched random numbers on the launch pad, directing his place to another direction, since paragus had already been following them, he assumed that he knew which pod was broly's and which one was goku's.

Pushing in random buttons, the space pod flew into a different direction and away from goku's pod with paragus following behind him. Broly sighed in relief, in the worst case scenario, he would just play along with paragus until he was used to his body and was able to take him down himself.

Like this a month quickly flashed by and 'crash' broly's pod landed on a planet. When his space pod landed, it alerted the strong individuals on the planet. They all flew to the crash landing site and saw the space pod. That looked inside and saw a small child with a tail. Quickly they were alerted by this strange race and one of the warriors thought that perhaps their elder would know what race this child was.

However, broly knew who exactly and where exactly he was. A planet that was all green and blue with few strange looking trees. Everywhere looked the same. The people had green colored skin with a few light pink patches of skin. This planet was namek. 'This was perfect' was what broly's first thought. First of all, the namekians were a peaceful race, so here he can slowly hone his skills and stabilize his power and mentality at his own pace. And lastly, the grand elder guru can unlock his potential making him even stronger. Namek's warriors are also stronger than paragus so he doesn't have to worry about them being killed.

Being carried off for a distance, broly also knew who was carrying him, he was killed in his battle against frieza and looked quite similar to piccolo, he was nail. Soon, they reach a large dome shaped house and entered in. There was a large namekian sitting down on a large chair.

Nail: " grand elder guru, there was a space pod that landed here and what was revealed inside was a small child with battle armor and a tail. What should we do with him."

Guru took him in his hand and sensed the child's power and history. He immediately knew what race the child was. " this child is of the saiyan race, they're a warrior race and once upon of time they were feared for their tremendous strength throughout the galaxy. However, from this child's memories it seems that their planet was just destroyed. He also have a lot of untapped power and have quite a berserk nature hidden within him."

Hearing what guru said, broly took a sigh of relief that guru did not see the memories of his past life and only his current life.

Guru continued, " it seems he did not come alone."

After saying this, the strong namekian warriors sensed another fairly large power source landing on their planet. It was paragus.

Immediately paragus left his space pod and used his power scanner in search of his son broly. However, as soon as he did that, he saw that there were several powerful figures coming towards his location. He got ready into his battle stance and prepared for battle.

Nail had already saw that this person already have a hostile intentions towards their people. "Leave this planet at once or else we will destroy you."

Paragus: "hmph " how could he surrender without a fight. Plus, he wanted to find his son broly and quickly train him, even though he showed an elite power level, paragus still believed that broly could become strong enough to defeat frieza after given some time.

Seeing the arrogance of the intruder, they immediately began their clash. Paragus being alone, he was quickly outnumbered and overpowered, since there was no moon on the planet, he used a special kind of energy that allows him to send out a power sphere that would allow them to turn into their great ape form. This was one of the main reason why he did not flee right away even though he saw their power level.

As soon as he sent out the ki ball that allowed them to transform, paragus immediately started to transform into a giant ape with bright red eyes tripling in power. With this transformation, he was able to compete with the several fighters. However, although he was strong enough to fight against them, he was a much larger target and as the fight began to prolong itself, his damages would accumulate and not long after he was severely injured and the power ball disappeared making turn back into his regular human form.

Struggling to get up, nail came before him and said, " we already warned you. Since you have hostile intentions on our planet, I will kill you here and now."

Before paragus could squeeze out a word or explanation he was killed by a ki blast from nail. After the battle, nail quickly flew back to where guru and the saiyan child and quickly explained what happened. Nail explained of the encounter he had and the similarities that both the child and adult intruder had.

However, guru already knew who the person was from broly's memories. He said to nail, " that was this child's father. However, there was no form on other connections before that, from the boy's memories, paragus was a person that will only bring harm to us and the child. We will raise him here. Since we did destroy his family and he has nowhere else to go than he can only stay here for the time being and raise him as our own warrior."

Nail: " I understand. Since I was the one who finished his father off, I will be the one who will train and raise him."

Broly hearing this, he became excited. Nail was strong enough to fight frieza's first form and for him that a high enough power for him to strive to surpass at the moment.
