THEY ARE DEAD

He observed the crowd of armed mens for some moments. He could sense their emotions towards him. Some were curious, some were looking at him with admiration, some were passive, but what was most amusing was that some even looked at him with animosity. Reason? Who knows.

But Ezekeil felt that, he still needs to work hard on these people . The attitudes that they have is not something people in their field of work should have.

Though he didn't mean that the mercenaries should be emotionless, but Atleast they should not show their real intentions and feelings so easily. And also they shouldn't judge people so easily.

Afterall, no one is what he shows.

After keeping mum for some time ,he said, " Good morning. I will be taking over this gang from now on. "

Short and stiff.

This line itself was akin to dropping a bomb on them. They were dazed for a good few seconds. What? Did they hear it correctly?

Though some smart people had already guessed it earlier, when they saw their chief and four other higherups Missing, but when they heard it with their own ears, it was still shocking. Not to say, this new man here seems so young.

While the others, who were 'loyal' to the previous head instantly riled up.

One of them, with a chubby face and pot like body raised his voice, " What the hell is going on here!? And you chap! Who are you? Do you think we have so much of free time to entertain your stupid pranks! Do you not know the severity of the words like this??!! "

Ezekiel looked towards the chubby man. Anyone with eyes could say he was hostile towards him. But Ezekiel smirked.

He knew these kind of people very well. What was he acting so loyal for? It was just his own gains and interests and nothing more.

And seriously, Ezekiel really didn't want to entertain this craps.

He didn't answer or bother the man anymore causing him to redden in anger.

He looked straight at the rest of the people and said, " Those who have questions can ask one by one. "

Some of their mood improved when he said that. If he was ready the new leader, they obviously did not have any right to question, but the thing that he was willing to answer the queries made them feel good.

Ofcourse, they wouldn't follow that fat man's path, they cannot go against him.

One of the men asked first.

"Are you really our new leader?"

"Yes. " he answered calmly.

"What happened to the previous head and higherups ?"

"They are dead."

"How??!! " Many of them asked in unison.

"I killed them. Subject of personal revenge, bad ethic, and business gain as well."

There was silence for a few minutes.

DEAD? ALREADY?

They were a part of underground for a long time, so ofcourse they knew that anyone can loose their life at anytime here.

And the reason, they were not fools.

It was clear that he killed him because of revenge, and that Tim had bad ethics and to overtake the gang and the business.

They started looking at him in a new way, afterall how many people have the guts to openly declare their deeds. Only those who are not scared of anything and can bear the consequences.

And many ofcourse understood that they can't offend this particular young man.

But not everyone was smart, some had to be tough headed.
