Joining the faction of the princess

Negative: " I will however join your faction!!!"

The princess had a surprised at hearing my words. She had lost all hopes of having other worlders work in her faction after seeing what happened in the banquet and here she has an other worlder himself bringing the topic of joining her faction.

Negative: "Also, I might be able to convince my friend to join together with me as well as she hasn't joined any factions either"

Hearing this the princess was ecstatic as she might have not one but two other worlders in her faction. She leaned her hands against the table and stared at my face excitedly leaving all the etiquettes befitting of a princess and said.

Princess: "A-are you seriously going to join my faction???"

Negative: "I did say I will join you, did I not???"

It was shortly after coming here and during the banquet that I got know more about factions and some other information, some of it was even related to princess Anastasia. Factions are basically teams of supporters, collaborators, and other people with the same objective banded together; in this case their objective will be the succession of their leader to the throne in the throne wars.

Noble families support different royalty in the throne wars for different purposes, it may be to boost their standing politically, it may give them benefits in trading when the ruling party is yours, they might get more leeway when being punished, etc.

The princess was dejected when she saw almost all the other worlders being scouted by the nobles because these very nobles are related to her rivals in the competitor, she couldn't gain any other worlders to raise her strength instead her position became worse.

Princess: "But why???"

Negative: "Didn't I say this before??? It's my instincts that I'm following."

What I said was true. I am indeed following my instincts if not for them I will not even be attending this meeting as the word of my meeting here with the princess might get leaked even after her taking many measures after all let's face it, she's a princess only in name other than that she is not treated all that well; not by her family members (except the third prince), not by her maids(except the maid that brought me here and some more), and neither by nobles.

The princess went silent after hearing my reply and made a thoughtful expression as if thinking something deep before extending her hand for a hand shake.

Princess: "I hope for a good cooperation between us. I will remind you that I will not be able to provide you with many resources like the other nobles but will try to help you in any way possible using my authority as a princess"

Negative: "Feelings are mutual, I would it very much for our cooperation to go well."

Like this the I joined the faction of the princess with very little political power and had a lot of work cut out for me for the future.

After this the meeting was over and I was led to my room secretly like before by the same beautiful maid that brought me to the meeting room.

After coming inside the room and closing the door I went towards the window to look outside. The sun was setting, portraying a very beautiful image to my eyes as well as telling me that it is evening.

I turned towards my bed and lied on it comfortably as I decided to take a rest of 2 hours before the dinner starts.

Negative: "Today was a very long day, first the meeting with the king explaining us about our situation and then the meeting with the princess where I decided to join her faction. I have a lot of work cut out for me for the future. Maybe today will be the last day I can rest comfortably before all hell breaks loose in my life."

Saying that I felt my consciousness leave my body as I drifted to the world of dreams.

~In another place~

[third person(POV)]

A handsome young man was seated on a throne looking at uncountable number of screens displaying everything that was going on in every world to ever exist, every little details in all the worlds including past and future were noticed by him and no detail could ever escape his eyes.

Except this time when he was not able look into the future of this young man who got transported from one world to another by a low level summoning magic circle.

Unknown being: "Ooh~~, it seems it is beginning. I am interested in where this guy will end up in this life. I hope he doesn't die too early this time, I wasn't able to have much fun the last time he was alive just because he died too early."

The unknown being then looked at the world in which the young man was only to find another anomaly who he couldn't see the future of but the past of that anomaly was visible and looking through it all he was satisfied as he thought the things are going to be more interesting with this anomaly in the same world as the young man.

The unknown being scratched his chin while saying: "I remember this soul from the anomaly from a billion years ago. Didn't know it was in this world with the other guy but them being together in the same world is an entertaining thing. What will happen if they come together earlier than expected, would they become rivals and rise in power aster or will they keep on fighting amongst each other to death every time disrupting each other; because I can't see both of their future it makes things more interesting. I will make the arrangements so that they can entertain me even more."

After saying that that the unknown being started using his power to change the fate of both the young man and the anomaly only to stop.

Unknown being: "It seems I can't tamper their fates... It only makes things more interesting."

The unknown being started using his power again but this time instead of changing the fate of the two people he instead changed the fate of all the others in that world to make it so that the two will meet together way earlier than it was fated to.

The young man who was transported by the low level summoning magic circle was Negative Artim.
