Chapter 60 : The assassin with Blue eyes

" what's up kid " xaria asked as she sat luxuriously on his blue sofa, munching on his priceless precious chips.

" I don't mean that, who ticked you off " astra glanced at her for a brief second before he continued with what he was previously doing " a wave of miasma flowed like a wave in the ocean, if any worse, you would have turned this land barren " she said with a carefree expression, she knew astra was getting irritated of swallowing all his problems, the hidden trauma he so desperately tries to hide. the bottled up emotion he was feeling. no matter how strong he was, the damage had already been done, and fixing it didn't seem possible. he always smiled with hostility, he laughed with pain. she had tried her best to get him to open up but was shunned by him.

" anyways, we are going on a trip to this creepy place called demons gate, its actually a tournament " immediately xaria's eyes lit up, she was bored to death, he could tell, since the stench of boredom was all over his room.

" are you guys ready " Keegan asked as he stared at the grumpy teens. he woke them more earlier than needed, all of them were in a sour mood especially astra, since his sanity revolved around sleep, it was and is the only time he felt truly at Peace.

" why wake us up this early ? " Callie whined as she stumped her legs on the floor like an angry child, but it was totally reasonable, the man woke them around 3 : 56 am for briefing , they had kept their eyes pilled to even see the pictures slowly sliding pass the screen.

they stayed like that till 8 : 34.

" were is the car, truck, or whatever the transportation is " Freya called out .

" sorry to disappoint you, but you will be heading there by teleportation " Keegan smiled since a lot of them had planned to shut their eyes for the entire trip.

" I hate you " Callie murmured making all of them chuckle before Keegan crouched down and touched the soil .

silver coloured magic lines and runes formed in the shape of a door leading to a twirling portal. everyone eyed each other as Alan casually walked up to the portal and stared inside, unsure if he should step in or not " is this thing safe " Alan turned a sceptical glance at Keegan whom nodded in confirmation.

with his bag over his back, he walked in, and so one after the other got in, the last was astra, he glared daggers at Keegan " I have another thing to add to the ' I hate you list ' " he said and stepped into the portal while Keegan shook his head remorsefully, everyday he wondered if his once innocent nephew would forgive him.

" Mr Fabian must be a billionaire to have this kind of building in this secluded island " Gina said while the girls willed their suit cases inside and the boys, bags over their shoulder.

" no kidding, I'm sure that's why he became a primal target "

" anyways, let register, after all master Keegan did say participation was mandatory " Alan said while the others agreed with him, astra and xaria in his spirit space were grieving with boredom, they weren't even sure if the professional they sent was actually a threat to anyone but that's were it all changed when a bloody scream echoed around the entire building.

the team went over to investigate but keeping a low profile. on there way there, they saw a well fit old man lying on his own pool of blood, everyone looked around but they didn't see a glimpse of anything suspicious .

astra looked a bit closer and saw a glowing blue pen stuck in the mans throat, it didn't look forced just a simple stab or an accurate throw. he looked up and saw someone sitting on one of the long ile of staircase, holding a clipboard, the person seemed to tick something on the clipboard. the person wore a huge blue hoodie, pulled up, stripped black jeans, white canvas and a scary midnight black face mask.

the person glowing blue eyes seemed to scan the area before the person disappeared.

" things just got interesting " astra thought with a lope side smile.
