After the incident, the square fell into silence as the remaining participants passed through the filtration process one by one. Soon, all the participants had gathered.

Among them, Tian Phai could sense nearly 500 individuals emanating a strong and distinct aura, setting them apart from the rest.

After an indeterminate amount of time, a voice resonated from the top of the platform positioned in the center of the circular square. All eyes turned towards the source, revealing an old man with a white beard and deep black eyes. Despite his gentle and peaceful appearance, there was an undeniable aura that forbade anyone from offending or disrespecting him.

Contrary to his aged features, the old man stood tall and upright, exuding a youthful and robust energy. Four knights in black armor stood behind him, followed by sixteen knights in golden armor. Each one displayed great reverence and unwavering devotion toward the old man.

As Tian Phai gazed upon the old man, something stirred inside him, similar to the sensation he felt in the presence of the dragon's pressure. However, before he could decipher the nature of this feeling, the old man's voice seemed to whisper directly into Tian Phai's ears, "Stop, it's not yet time for you to awaken!" Uncertain whether the old man was addressing him or the entity within him, Tian Phai realized that he was the only one who could hear the voice.

"What an incredible ability," Tian Phai marveled at the old man's extraordinary power and methods. Gradually, the unsettling feeling inside him subsided, dissipating the strange sensation he had experienced earlier.

"To all the participants, you do not need to know who I am or the people behind me. For the sake of simplicity, you may refer to me as the Sovereign, like the others," the old man declared, causing silence to envelop the surroundings before he continued.

"From this moment forward, you will have access to the best resources, clothing, housing, and weapons. You will possess strength and a future. However, nothing in life comes without a price. In exchange for what we offer, you must be willing to risk your lives. Based on my knowledge, I believe this won't be a problem for those who have passed the filtration."

Indeed, as the Sovereign spoke, not a single one of the 30,000 children present in the square flinched or showed any surprise. It seemed as if his statement was deemed perfectly normal by all.

The Sovereign nodded with satisfaction and continued, "The place you currently find yourselves in is known as the Geniuses Fall Cave. Although it carries the name of a cave, it is actually an entire world, where geniuses come to face their challenges."

This is its true name. Within this cave, numerous facilities exist. And finally, the sixth and most important facility—the Nine-Story Glass Tower. I will not provide extensive details, but I must inform you that anyone who fails to reach the third floor within five years shall meet their demise. As for those beyond the fifth floor, they shall embark on personal missions assigned by me."
