Chapter 1 Rebirth in another world.
Ray Silver was a 45-year-old normal guy working as a mailman. He has a wife and six kids. His favorite hobby was playing video games when he had some time. He loved to play RPG and strategy games the most.
One day while delivering the mail a huge semi-truck T boned him in his LLV crushing him to death.
Ray opened his eyes only able to see blurry images of his wife and kids. Is he focusing on clearing his vision, Ray asked "Am I dead?"
A loud voice echoed out. "Yes, you died."
"What I died? Damn Semi truck killed me!" Said Ray.
"Yes, it smashed you to death. Ray you weren't supposed to die today. But that semi smashed your body and we can't send you back to your body." Said the voice.
"So now what? If you can't send me back then what are you going to do with me? Asked Ray.
"We could send you to a different world." Said the voice.
"Wait who are you? are you a god?" Asked Ray.
"Yes we are gods and we want to send you to another world." Said the god.
"Well, what kind of world is it?" Asked Ray.
"It's a magical world called Azeroc." Said the voice.
"Wait do I get to pick what I look like and do I get any special abilities?" Asked Ray.
"Hmm yes, we can do that." Said the god.
"Then I want to be able to change what I look like and I want a leveling system or something like that." Said Ray.
"Fine, it will be done." Said the god.
The next thing Ray saw was bright flashing light and then he went unconscious.
Ray opens his eyes and feels the sun shining on him. "Where am I?" Asked Ray. Ray stands up and checks his body. Looking at his hands they look weird. His hands are longer and thicker with no fingernails at all. Ray looks down to check if he has all his limbs. Yes, I have all my limbs. He rubs his head and feels no hair. "Dang I'm bald?" Said Ray.
"Yes, you are bald." Said a voice.
"What? Who's there?" Asked Ray.
"I'm your system." Said the voice.
"My system?" Asked Ray.
"Yes, you asked the gods for a system in this world." Said the voice.
"Do I have attributes and skills?" Asked Ray.
"Yes, you have attributes, abilities, and skills. You can obtain them." Said the voice.
"Ohh. Well, how can I see them? Asked Ray.
"Just visualize your attributes ability and skill panels. Do you see them?" Said the voice.
"Yes, I can see them." Said Ray.
"Good." Said the voice.

"System what is my race? Why am I unique? Asked Ray.
"A Changeling is a rare race of humanoids on this planet. They can change their appearance at will. And as for being unique, you have assimilation ability and me your system." Said the voice.
"What is assimilation?" Asked Ray.
"Assimilation is a skill that absorbs and integrates matter, energy, skills, spells, and abilities for you. And you will be able to change into the thing you assimilate. Normally when you change your appearance you are only changing what you look like. But if you assimilate a creature you can turn into a said creature." Said the voice.
"Well, what's the difference?" Asked Ray.
"When you change into another creature you become that said creature. You have all the creature's abilities strengths and weaknesses. But you also obtain all of your abilities strengths and weaknesses. For example, take your strength stat and the creatures strength stat and add them together 10+10= 20. That would be your strength as that creature."
"Wow, that's op. Wait! Why don't I have a name?"
"You can pick a new name." Said the voice.
"Can I pick my old name?" Asked Ray.
"Yes, but you should pick a name for this world as well." Said the voice.
"Hmm ok. I will pick my old name and my other name will be Thorzen. That's the name I would use on all my characters while I played video games." Said Ray.
"Ray "Thorzen" Silver." Input? Yes or no" Asked the voice.
"Yes." Said Ray.

"Oh, that's better. The system you call me Ray and everybody that I meet can call me Thorzen." Said Ray.
"Affirmative imputed in my memory." Said the voice.
"System can I name you?" Asked Ray.
"Yes, you can Ray." Said the voice.
"Hmm, I will call you Athena from now on." Said, Ray
"Athena imputed into my memory." Said, Athena.
"Athena, how do I use assimilation? Asked Ray.
"To use assimilation you must touch the object that you want to assimilate. If it's a living creature you must kill it or it has to be in critical weak condition. When assimilation is occurring you can only assimilate a total weight of 200lbs." Said, Athena.
"200lbs?" Asked Ray.
"Yes, so if an object is 200lbs you can assimilate it but you won't be able to assimilate anything else for 1 hr. If an object weighs 1000lbs you can only assimilate 200lbs of it." Said, Athena.
"Will I be able to assimilate more in the future?" Asked Ray.
"Yes every ten levels the weight you can assimilate will double. At level 10 it will be 400lbs at level 20 it will be 800lbs at level...." Said, Athena.
"Ok, I get it. How do I transform or change my appearance?" Asked Ray.
"As a Changeling, you change your appearance at will as long as you have a visual picture in your mind. For assimilated creatures you must assimilate it first then you would be able to become that creature. You can also do partial transformation." Said, Athena.
"Partial transformation what's that?" Asked Ray
"Partial transformation: say you assimilate a sword. You would be able to transform your arm into a sword. The quality of said sword would be comparable to the material you have assimilated." Said, Athena.
"So if I assimilate iron I could transform my arm into an iron sword?" Asked Ray.
"Yes." Said, Athena.
"Ohh that's so cool. Let's start assimilation then. Hmm, let's assimilate that rock." Said Ray.
Ray walks up to the rock and touches it with his right hand. "Ok now what?" Asked Ray.
"Visualize your assimilation ability and say assimilate." Said, Athena.
"Assimilate!!" Said Ray. Ray's hand starts to meld around the rock and absorb it into his body.
Rock analysis 10% 20%30%....100% completed.
"Now you can turn your hand into that rock." Said, Athena.
"How?" Asked Ray.
"Just visualize your hand and partial transformation your hand into the rock." Said, Athena.
"Got it so let's try it." Said Ray.
Ray visualizes his right hand and partial transformation into the rock. His right-hand melds into the rock.
"Wow, it's so cool. Can I transform my whole arm into the rock?" Asked Ray.
"Yes. You only need to assimilate more rocks to acquire the mass needed to transform your entire arm." Said, Athena.
"Sweet. I'm gonna assimilate that big rock." Said Ray.
Ray walks over to the big rock and begins to assimilate it. 10%50%100%. Assimilation completed.
"Now you can transform your arm into the rock." Said, Athena.
"All right partial transformation." Said Ray.
Ray's right arm transformed into the rock. It looks like a stone club.
