The Wyvern's Demise

"He's still alive, I've avoided using heavenly eye for a while since it felt like a cheat and could stunt my growth in power but..."

As Ray used heavenly eye he tried to analyze the wyvern's vitality and current power.

'He's definitely hurt, I just need to use one more Sun to defeat him, I still have more than enough mana to destroy him, and luckily the wyvern is unconscious.'

"By using Space magic and the Earth element I can make another type of magic..."

Ray then got in a Lotus position as he combined Space magic and the Earth element.

10 minutes passed

As both the forces clashed inside Ray, his soul was damaged but on the other hand he successfully combined them, into an extremely powerful force.

"Gravitas."

"That's what I'll name it."

*Heavy Breathing

'One problem though, souls are impossible to heal...'

Meanwhile during the time that Ray was focused on combining the two forces the wyvern had already woken up and was nowhere to be seen.

Ray then immediately looked around hoping to catch a glimpse of the wyvern.

But what Ray didn't know was that wyverns had the ability to camouflage themselves.

Wind gushed around Ray as if a large creature was circling him, yet he couldn't see anything.

Ray was baffled, this led him to use the new force he had created.

"Gravitas!! 2x!"

Ray shouted as the gravity around him doubled leading the cave to almost collapse.

Then Ray heard a grunt as the wyvern appeared in front of him barely being able to stand.

'Does the system regenerate the cave? I've used everything yet it hasn't collapsed at all, and the damages I did before are now gone.'

"But, This is my win."

Meanwhile on the path to the academy.

"I can't wait to finally be able to visit the Fraux academy!"

A boy said as he cheerfully walked the path towards the academy.

"Keke!"

Someone laughed

As the boy heard this he got startled.

"Was I imagining it- urk!"

Then a large blade went through the boys body as blood gushed out of his wound.

"Ahh!!"

The boy shouted as he fell on the ground

The boy cried out.

"Keke, don't die just yet!"

A man appeared out of nowhere as he wore ragged clothes and had a deformed face.

"It hurts, it hurts!!"

The boy cried as blood kept rushing out of his body.

"What a funny little kid."

The man scoffed.

"The childrens here are quite fun to play with."

"But you know, I'm not a monster so I'll free you of your misery."

The man said as he sliced the boy in half.

"Heh, I guess I should stop playing around, I need to hurry so I can go back to killing again, keke!!!"

The man headed towards the academy, as it was about to face a great danger.

And mean while back to Ray.

After Ray had finishes checking his stats he finally relaxed as the system transported him back to the main room.

"I guess I'm back to the plain white room."

"Ray, congratulations on defeating the wyvern, for that..."

"You can pick between two rewards that I have prepared."

"Rewards?"

"You didn't think that the system would do that without giving you a rewards after right? Of course we're not that heartless."

"Anyway the rewards that I have prepared are, Robe of The First Magus or Genesis."

"I've never heard of those."

'Wait I can appraise them using my Heavenly eye.'

As Ray appraised both the items he was stunned.

"I-I can still pick the other one later right?"

"Well, yes if you amaze me again."

'These...are insane.'

Robe of the first magus: Divine Grade: Gives the user multiple boosts in their magic output.

'That one's great and all but the other...'

Genesis: (Sealed) a glove allowing the user to use ancient magic and techniques, with regards to the grade and increases the user magic output significantly, the grade of the item is determined by the purity of the user's mana.

'This is an obvious pick, it's like they want me to pick it.'

"I guess I'll choose, Genesis."

"Ok then, don't worry you can still get the robe soon."

"I guess I'm pretty much done here."

Ray said as he left the Mind Realm.

When Ray got back it was already dark outside as he entered the diamond mansion.

"Oh! Ray, where have you been?"

Lucas asked as he was making a machine in the first floor.

Ray was startled he thought that everyone else would've been in their room by now.

"Oh I've been training alone."

Ray said calmly.

"The headmaster came here, he said that you had training to do with him."

'The headmaster? Why would he-'

Then Ray suddenly remembered

'Oh shit! I forgot the council was supposed to train me today.'

"They've been looking for you the whole day."

Lucas said

"They?"

"Other people were with the headmaster."

'Well it's just one day of training, they won't overreact, right?'

'But I can still go to the headmaster and ask whether they can still train me.'

"I'm going to the headmaster for now."

"Oh, ok, bye then."

Ray flew towards the headmaster's office with terrifying speed.

And in no time he had already arrived.

And just as he was about to open the door two guards stopped him.

"Kid, what do you think you're doing?"

"I'm going to the headmaster."

"Do you have an appointment?"

"Well no-"

"Then you cant enter, only senior professor are allowed or people with the same authority as them."

'Wait then...the headmaster also gave me a badge when he gave me my title.'

Ray then opened his Dimensional pocket as he took out the badge that the headmaster gave him.

"Is this good enough??" Ray said as he showed the badge to both of the guards.

"W-what?! We sincerely apologize we didn't realize that you were a candidate for the Divine Magus!!"

Both the guards shouted as they bowed.

'The divine magus? So this badge wasn't just for this school.'

Then both of them opened the door for Ray.

As Ray entered he met all eleven magus waiting for him behind the door.

Then the headmaster said.

"Ray Grandfell, you're late."

He said with a cold tone
