I Reincarnated?!

'*sigh* when will this end when will i finally be killed as getting revenge would just be impossible now.' Ray the last remaining survivor on earth thought to himself as he slashed the monsters around him.

"Just fucking kill me already!"

'If it weren't for this damned "curse" i would've died already.' Ray thought to himself as he looked at a blue screen that signified his stats.

Blessing: Immortality

"WHY CAN'T I JUST FUCKING DIE!" Ray shouted as his voice echoed throughout the destroyed city, and as he was shouting he felt a slight sting on his back and as he looked back he saw a goblin stabbing him as blood gushed out which had never happened after he got his blessing.

'Will i finally die with this?!'

"You, stab me again." Ray said nonchalantly as he smiled brightly at the goblin, and as the goblin stabbed him over and over again and he fell down on the ground he thought to himself.

'So this is what pain feels like, I've forgotten it.' Ray thought as he gazed at the clear white sky slowly turning red as blood went into his eyes and as he closed them thinking it was finally over.

'It's over, It's finally over! Wait i feel like i can still open my eyes and can a dead person think?' Ray then opened his eyes only to find himself being held by a woman with blonde hair.

'Who is this beautiful giant?' Ray thought.

"Madam, you have such a wonderful little boy, what shall you name him?" A maid asked.

"Ray, his name shall be Ray." The woman smiled as she looked at Ray and as Ray tried to reach out to her he saw his hands.

'Wait, what happened to my hands why are they so small.'

"Hey woman!" Ray shouted but the woman and the maid standing on her left just smiled and laughed as Ray noticed that he couldn't even mutter a single word properly.

'Wait why can't I properly say anything, and these hands, don't tell me i got reincarnated?!' Then a man entered the room and immediately went to Ray as he smiled.

'Who is this guy, I'm pretty sure this woman is my mother., Then this must be my father then!'

"So this is my son, what's his name?" The man asked cheerfully.

"His name is Ray." The woman smiled brightly.

'Judging my the clothes of the people here and the interior of this room it seems like i reincarnated into a fantasy like world that you would see in games.' Ray said as he slowly floated up into the ceiling and he saw his parents reaction.

"M-magic!?" Both of them shouted bewildered at the sight of Ray flying.

'I can fly? So there's magic here as well, and I probably shouldn't have done this since it would be shocking for a baby to fly.' Ray thought as he saw his parents reaction and he stopped flying as his father caught him immediately.

"Our son is a Genius-"

"It's to be expected if the child has my blood." A man who seemed to be Ray's grandfather entered the room.

"Father." The man said as he held ray tightly by his hands.

"I'll call the Grandmage, Weist to check that child's potential." Ray's grandfather said as he looked at the three of them with a cold stare.

'Who was that guy? Was he my grandfather, why was he so cold and a grandmage?"' Ray had so many thoughts overflowing his mind as there was so many things happening.

"I hope you actually do have potential and that magic before wasn't just a coincidence." The man said with a slightly cold tone.

'Why did his behaviour change so much?!' And as Ray's grandfather came back he had someone with him it was a man who looked to be in his 60's and was wearing a grey cloak while holding a wooden staff with a mysterious orb on its tip and as he walked towards Ray he introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you, Ray, I'm the grandmage Weist." He said with a bright smile on his face while looking at Ray.

"So Let's just not waste anytime and get to it." Weist said as he put his hand on top of Ray's head and closed his eyes.

"T-this?! I'm not hallucinating am i?" Weist said as he took his hand back

"What is it?" Ray's mother asked

"This guy has an endless amount of mana I even had to stop due to the enormous amount of mana overwhelming me!"

"What?! What about his element affinity?"

"He has...the rarest element, Sun and his general affinity with magic is unknown i can't even gauge it."

'Does that mean I'm a genius or something? And Sun affinity?' Ray thought to himself as everyone looked at him.

"A genius has been born into the Grandfell family!" Ray's grandfather shouted as he picked up Ray while all the workers inside the mansion heard him.

'What is with these guys why does their personality change that fast and now that i think about it I'm most likely to be the son of a noble and a high ranking one at that.'

And 15 years later Ray has practiced magic his entire life so he'll be ready to go to the academy when he reaches 15 years old.

'So I gathered a lot of information since my birth, I'm the son of Cale Grandfell and my grandfather Voln Grandfell is a Duke and I've also learned the history of this world.'

"Oh! Master Ray You're going to the academy tomorrow at sunrise right? The knight captain of the grandfell family asked Ray as he was walking by their training grounds.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

"It's nothing." Then Ray just walked away and asked one of the knights to have a duel with him to check the extent of his power.

"What? A duel?"

"Master Ray is having a duel with a knight right now?" other knights in the area asked as they crowded around Ray and the knight.

"You may take the first move." Ray said.

"I'll do so then, master Ray." The knight said as he jumped towards Ray and slashed down his wooden sword as Ray blocked it with an invisible barrier.

"He can already conjure barriers? Does that mean he's already a 3rd circle mage?" The knights asked each other while spectating Ray's fight.

Mage Ranks:

God- 19 and above circle

Demi-God- 16 to 18 circle

Grandmage- 13 to 15 circle

Archmage- 10 to 12 circle

Elite Mage- 7 to 9 circle

Advanced Mage- 4 to 6 circle

Beginner Mage-1 to 3 circle

A mage's power is determined by how many circles they have acquired currently on Ray's case he has 3 circles currently and is classified as a beginner mage, every time a mage forms a circle their power increases by 3x but the difficulty exponentially increases

'Master Ray has already reached the peak of a beginner mage at just 15 years old? I may need to use more power this time.' The knight fighting Ray thought as he used aura on his sword and attacked Ray again only to be pushed back by a gush of wind.

Knights use a different ranking system than Mages and while Mages use mana on their surroundings and that's what they call magic Knights use it on themselves and they call it as Aura.

Knight Ranks:

God- Can use both magic and aura

Demi-God- Can bend mana itself and make a mana sword

Grandmaster- Can form aura weapons

Swordmaster- Can form multiple aura swords

Archknight- Can form an aura sword

Elite Knight- better mastery of Aura

Advanced Knight- Can manifest aura on their weapons

Beginner Knight- No Aura

'This guy is an advanced knight? That means he's already on the level of a vice captain yet he's still just a regular knight?' Ray thought as he finally counter attack using fire magic which is his specialty.

"Flame ball!" Ray said as he pointed his right hand towards the knight and a ball of flame shot out of his hand.

"I'm sorry master Ray but even though you're a genius you still can't beat me!" The knight shouted as he dodged Ray's attack and ran towards Ray as he threw his sword.

"You threw you're sword?!" Ray shouted as he panicked until the sword hit him causing him to pass out from the force.

"To think young master Ray is already this powerful, i had to use aura to defeat him all the other kids on the Fraux academy don't have a chance!" The knight said as the crowd of knight that were spectating them cheered for him.

"Everyone stop!! Get a healer here immediately to heal master Ray."

There are several types of mages, such as healer, battlemage, utility mages, Healers are of course mages that specializes in healing and battlemages are mages who specialize in warfare and are mostly mercenaries or are part of a noble's force and utility mages are mages who have weak magic power thus only use their magic for everyday life, but there is one more type of mage that only appears every thousand years and is usually the catalyst for monsters to invade and destroy human cities, The Magic Swordsman, a genius who can use both aura and mana in his body without dying.
