Chapter Forty Five- Sakura Bloom

"Come brother, sit next to me!" Kate grasped my arm and pulled me down to the grass, we had picked a spot right next to the pond, the water glistening as the sun rays vibrated on it. The sky was crystal clear, today was a great day.

"Now you two, have some of the sandwiches I made before running off to play, oh I also brought some of your favorite cookies, here." Elizabeth handed me and kate our food, the cookies she made were always great.

"Mummy, what are we doing after this?" Kate had her mouth filled and it was hard to understand what she was saying. However, calling it a mothers power, Elizabeth was able to make out what she was saying. "Well dear, how about we go pick some clothes out for your brother? I mean look at him, he clearly can't pick anything good out for himself, haha." As Elizabeth and Kate were laughing, I solemnly cursed steven. Just what kind of torture was I about to go through?

"Well, let's not go too far, I'm perfectly fine with what I'm wearing, I mean…" I shut my mouth, with both of the girls staring down at me like a hawk. I was now condemned to my fate.

"Do not worry brother, I and mummy will pick the best outfit for you, anyways come, let us go play." With Kate saying that I could only sigh… I ate the last of my sandwich and wiped my hands before following Kate who was jumping between the rose flowers… I wonder what Rose Is doing now?

Perhaps I will never know.

Strolling through the grass trying to keep up with Kate, I was bewildered to realize I had lost sight of her. "Kate, Kate where are you?!" I started to panic, however, these worries were unneeded.

"Brother over here!" Kates sounded out and I turned in the direction of her voice.

As my eyes lay upon the tree she was next, tears began to fall down my eyes.

It couldn't be, how was this here? It's impossible….

Standing proud in front of my eyes, a sakura tree blooming pink and white, what a memorizing sight…

"Kate this is.." the words couldn't escape my mouth, this was a tree I thought I would never see again.

"Brother are you, all right? Why are you crying" Kate was already next to me as I was in a daze.

I quickly wiped away my tears and came up with an excuse. "This tree is just so beautiful, the shape, the colours, they give me a nostalgic feeling, I just can't understand what from. I smiled, how could I forget where the nostalgia came from? How could I ever forget my previous life?

After a while, I could hear Elizabeth calling us back, and before leaving I caught I final glimpse of the sakura tree….

Following that, I had to endure hours of torture as I was dragged from shop to shop, just how much did these two women like to shop?

"All right brother, close your eyes," Kate said to me, we had finally finished shopping. What was she going to give me? I waited in anticipation. "All right, brother open your eyes, this is a gift from me and mother…

I opened my eyes to an emerald jade-like dagger… Its fine detailed handle and crystal-like blade. Truly crafted by a great blacksmith, just how much money did this cost? Was I truly worthy of holding such a weapon?

I hesitated, however with Kates's smile I gulped down.

I took the dagger and moved my palm across it, this was a gift that I would never lose, I would protect it with my life.

"Thank you two so much." I hugged Kate tightly and then Elizabeth, just how kind were they to me? Just how much did I owe them in this life? More than I could ever pay back….

Tears were once again in my eyes, however, Mother wiped them away and have me another hug.

"All right, it's about time we get home, isn't it? We are all in one place together so let's have a big feast!

After that, we got back on the carriage and began the trek home, it didn't feel like long, as we were chatting all the way through, however, it was mainly me talking about my experiences at school. Mother continued to question me about Rose… I sighed.

After we got home, I went for a bath and got ready for dinner. Claire wanted to spar however I was completely exhausted from everything that had happened so I told her to wait until tomorrow, and she begrudgingly accepted.

The entire family got gathered. Me, Mother, Kate, Claire, Clara, Stuart and Beth.

Stuart got up for a toast.

"Today marks a special day, the entire family is here to have a big feast, we are very happy for the return of James, Claire, and Clara, let us enjoy the feast tonight, cheers!" Everybody got up and in unison shouted. "Cheers!"

After dinner, I went to bed, however, while reading my book, I heard a knock on my door. I sighed. "Come in," I said. The door opened and not to my surprise, Clare and Clara were walking into my room and my bed, it had to be noted that my bed was massive and could fit up to four people, it was also extremely comfortable.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked, however, I already knew the answer.

"Sush and just go to sleep, it's getting colder at night so we decided to come in your bed and keep warm," Claire said with a blush on her face, she had come here with other intents.

"Well if that's the case you guys can stay. However, I'm going to sleep. And with that, I marked the chapter I was on in my book and put it down, got cozy into my bed and began to sleep.

After a while, I felt some arms hugging me.

Good grief, these girls…
