Gym Battle- Part 1

In the Gym in Franklin Town (After Trio left from there):

"Do you know he is only intermediate level trainer." Said Jose furiously to Moxie.

"Yes, but I can sense that this kid can reach to Ace Level within 3-4 months. I just want to see at what level his pokemons are." Said Moxie.

"As per reports we got from Steven and Flint his two best pokemons are at most Mid Elite Level and those are Kirlia and Sceptile, his Haunter is at initial elite level and all other are below peak advance. And as his both powerful pokemons are still under surveillance so they cannot battle, then you will have to battle his haunter or advance level pokemons." Said Norman who was also angry at Moxie for challenging a Kid.

"Let him show his power, I am also looking forward to it." Said Fiona, who seemed to be thinking about someone, 'If its really you master then I wanna see how you were when you started your journey. We met 16 years old Jason that time and I remember how Samuel the monster of Kanto was beaten by him and he made him realize his power.' Fiona thought.

Challenge Day:

Jason with his friends Steven and Flint walked towards the gym and entered it. Jason stood on the Stage for him on opposite side from that of Moxie and Steven with flint was sitting in audience section along with 3 adults who were looking forward to this battle.

"This is official gym battle between Gym Leader Moxie from Franklin Town and Challenger Jason from Gao village, this will be 3 vs 3 battle and whoever defeats all pokemons of other side is winner. Only challenger is allowed to substitute pokemon in between battle." Announced referee.

"I hope you understood the rule ." Said Moxie and Jason nodded in reply, he was holding a red ball in his hand which he threw in air saying, "Show me your best."

Lairon appeared from that ball, that Lairon was twice in size then any average Lairon.

"This Lairon is quite good in shape, I think it is getting good nutrients." Said Moxie and threw his ball in air, a Red Bipedal pokemon emerged from the ball and stood infront of Lairon. It was lava pokemon Magmar. Temperature in Gym was increased by 5 degrees when the pokemon appeared on ground.

"You can start." Moxie said.

"Lairon, there is no need to hold your powers. You are free to hit as hard as possible. Lairon start with Rock Tornado." Said Jason.

A heavy storm was emerged in the ground with alot of Medium sized rocks and it surrounded Magmar, Rocks started hitting one by one but Magmar was easily breaking each rock which reached closer to him. Only one or 2 rocks were able to hit him.

"Stop the storm now." Shouted Moxie.

A red aura appeared around Magmar and he roared circling his head in all around stadium, he was throwing steam along with that. Storm was stopped and temperature rose a little more.

"That was good move Jason. I am impressed." Said Moxie.

"Ok Lairon start with Earth Power and combine it with Rock slide." Said Jason.

Lairon jumped in air and landed on the battleground so heavily which created a crack in the battleground and Rock emerged from the ground and hurled around magmar and clamped him in it and Magmar was thrown towards the crack in earth then a big slide of rock fell on him, That hurt Magmar badly. Magmar was bleeding but Lairon was breathing heavily by using this level of fire. Lairon was still at Mid Elite Level though can reach peak elite within 2 months or if he uses his all potential, but still using this level of power is not good for pokemon of his level.

"Magmar use flamethrower." Said Moxie and a shoot of Flame was sent towards lairon,

"Lairon use Protect." A green light was emerged in front of Lairon but he was struggling in stopping the move. Jason knew that this can trigger to make Lairon reach next level so he shouted, "Lairon use full power." A white and brown light emerged around Lairon, which shows control over elements. But after few minutes Lairon fainted, this shocked Steven and Flint in stage.

In Audience:

"How can Lairon faint, he was countering Magmar with ease." Said Steven.

"Lairon is still not that strong so he cannot control his elemental aura triggered for more then few minutes, where as he used full force to attack Magmar earlier that sucked many of his power and this trigger of elements also made him tire so he fainted." Explained Fiona.

"That Moxie is not showing his true power, but this brat is really good to be at only Intermediate Level." Said Jose.

"Yeah Moxie is just checking out his power. Let see what secrets this kid holds under his sleeves." Said Norman who was impressed by the battle.

In Battlefield:

Lairon used his full power to stop the attack but failed to push himself to next stage and fainted.

"Lairon is unable to battle, Trainer please switch your pokemon." Announced referee.

Magmar on other side had some cuts and bruises but was looking fine and seemed ready to face next pokemon.
