Hearing her question, Alex was surprised. He smiled and answered "Actually, I am an orphan raised by a hermit living in the mountain. He told me to leave after I reach eighteen. So, I came down with my own task."

"Task?" Moona looked at him with confusion.

"My task is to establish an Academy." Alex answered. Why would he try to make it secretive if he was planning on doing so?

"Academy?" Moona's eyes widened. Suddenly, she remembered the intense pressure from Alex. This made her snap back to reality as she asked.

"Can I join your academy?"

Just the pressure was enough to suppress Senior Mage. She couldn't even imagine how strong Alex was. He looked at her frowning for a moment.

All of them had a sword on their waists. After they reached in front of Moona and Alex, one of the soldiers walked forward and looked at Moona.

"Moona Macaroni. For slandering and talking bad about your town chief, we are here to apprehend you. You will spend 10 days in prison as your punishment. Surrender without any resistance or else…."

He didn't need to say further. His serious expression was enough to say anything else. Though this made Alex surprised. These soldiers only Junior mages.

Then, he turned to Alex and spoke "Young Man, you have caused a disturbing ruckus outside the town's border and also harassed the Chief's wife. You have been sentenced to death."

Without wasting any second, he simply released his mana into his sword. The green mana covered his sword as he unsheathed it.

"Energy Slash"

Seeing his movement, Alex calmly tapped the forearm of both of his hands with his opposite fingers.

The next moment, he raised his hand and caught the sword covered with energy. The energy burst out but it didn't even make a scratch on his body.

"It seems like this so-called chief of yours is a sore loser. Not only he is letting his wife have sex with other men but also trying to be a tyrant. That's not how it works."

He smashed the sword into pieces. The soldier looked at Alex with wide eyes as he took the step back. Other soldiers also got frightened for a moment. Alex turned his head at Moona who seemed to be quite shaken.

But, he didn't see the fear in her eyes. His lips curved as he took a step back.

"Moona, you said you wanted to join my Academy, right? I don't have a single student yet which means you will be the Eldest Student in my academy. So, how about this?"

"You fight these soldiers. All of them only have the strength of Junior Mage. If you win against them, I will accept you as my first student."

Hearing his words, Moona felt like she was dreaming for a moment. She pointed at the soldiers and then at herself.

"Me fighting them?"

Alex nodded his head.

"It's impossible. I am only at the 3rd Tier. I can't defeat them." Moona instantly shook her head and declined.

"That's bad. If you had accepted it, I would've given you a chance to join my academy." Alex shrugged his shoulders with disappointment in his eyes.

At this moment, the soldiers looked at him with anger blazing in their eyes.

"Bastard, don't be so arrogant!"

"Flame Slash"

One of the soldiers instantly unsheathed his sword and covered his sword with yellow flames. The light of the flame attracted everyone's attention. Even though he was attacking, Alex didn't move at all.

He calmly waited. At this moment, a small ball of fire moved toward the soldier.

"Fireball"

The soldier instantly noticed the flames and turned around. He swung his sword down and split the fireball in half. His eyes fell on Moona as he stared at her with deep anger.

Alex didn't make a move but rather just watched Moona. She was freaking out. She didn't know how to counter at this moment. She was only the 3rd Tier Junior Mage.

Moona saw the soldier charging toward her and finally fear appeared in her eyes. At this moment, she was truly feeling helpless. Her mana had gone down by half and she hasn't even injured her opponent.

"John, calm down! She is the daughter of Tenma." The man whose sword was broken saw the intent of his friend and shouted.

But, the soldier didn't stop. He had a crazy expression on his face.

'Hahaha! As long as I can kill her, I will be able to take all the blame. Tenma will choose to fight the chief and the chief will be able to slaughter his family and take all of his wealth.'

'He promised me that he will give me twenty percent of his wealth. Tch! There is no way I am letting her live.'

At this moment, his sword was almost in front of him Moona. But, suddenly, a chop landed on his neck. The immense strength of that hand smashed him to the ground.

The bone on his neck cracked as he tried to barely get up. But, at this moment, Alex raised his leg and smacked his neck.

At this moment, the neck completely got completely shattered and entered his throat. The breathing of this man got slower as he finally died.

Alex raised his head at the soldiers and asked.

"Tenma must be an important person in this town, right? So, why was this guy trying to kill Tenma's daughter?"
