Leaving the Cederel Town

"Teacher, where are we going?" Joseph asked as they left the town and went toward the grassland.

"Ahem! I am not your teacher. I am a dean. Moona is a special case because she is my first student. If you want to call me teacher, you need to prove yourself. Although you have talent, it wouldn't matter if you can't even use it."

"As for your questions, we are going to our future home I guess."

Alex spoke. Although his words were a bit harsh, it only made Joseph even more determined to train harder. Suddenly, he stopped. He looked at Alex and said.

"Dean, I haven't done the second part of my daily training yet. I need to do it now."

Alex was surprised by his words and asked "What parts of daily training you are talking about?"

"Dean, since I can't use magic, I train my body. So, I made a habit to train three times a day. In the morning, I run 100 laps around the town. In the day, I do heavy lifting 1000 times with the current weight I can lift."

"And, in the evening, I do five basic exercises. 1000 push ups, 1000 chin ups, 1000 squats, 1000 one-hand upside-down pushups, and finally 500 punches and 500 kicks."

Alex was speechless after hearing that. Even he didn't do such harsh training. He finally understood why this kid reminded him of Blazing Youth Academy.

This kid was the prime example of YOUTH.

Alex thought for a moment and sat down. He put his hands on Joseph's legs and asked.

"How much weight can you lift?"

"Currently, I can lift 500 kilograms."

Alex nodded his head and closed his eyes as he kept releasing a lot of mana in Joseph's legs. Joseph felt very weird at first but soon, he started realizing that his legs were getting heavier and heavier.

"I never thought of training someone with this but I believe it will be great training for you. Not only physical training but also training for your mana control."

When Alex removed his hand, there was a seal on both of his legs. It was a seal with a rock-shaped figure on it.

He created the same seal on Joseph's arm and at this moment, Joseph felt like he will fall down.

"Alright now, you can stop the flow of mana. Don't release your mana at all."

Stopping the flow of mana wasn't a hard deal for anyone but for Joseph, it took him almost half an hour. By this moment, he was already lying on the ground.

"You really have a lot to learn about Mana Control. Well, this seal will be a great help for you. For now, you have stopped the flow of mana which means this seal will add no weight to your body."

"But once you break the concentration and the flow of mana restarts, your body will get heavier. Unlike others, the amount of mana in your body is quite heavy, so this seal will increase its weight by the amount of mana you release."

"So, no matter what, you must learn how to slowly use the considerate amount of mana. This will allow you to use the correct amount of mana in order to use spells."

Hearing Alex's words, Joseph nodded his head. His body was quite tired so he couldn't move. He looked at Alex with a deep admiration in his eyes.

"Dean, you are so amazing. You even think of a way to help me train my physical strength and mana control at the same time."

Alex laughed and said "Actually, I didn't use this for others. After all, they can easily control their mana but you are quite different. If you hadn't told me about the training, this idea wouldn't have crossed my mind."

"Even if you want to slack off, you can't. But, I know you don't slack off so you can start by slowly increasing the flow of mana. If it gets out of control, try to control it as much as possible."

"As long as the mana doesn't touch your seal, the weight won't be increased. And so you have to keep your mana stagnant even though it flows with the blood."

Joseph nodded his head. He was currently keeping the flow of his mana stagnant. It didn't mean the mana won't flow. It simply will remain with the blood and won't enter the cells.

For that, he needs to force his mana to remain in the blood vessels all the time. Since his mana veins were already 70% transformed, it was a bit easier to keep his mana stagnant but even so, he can't manipulate his mana.

"Alright, climb on my back for now. We have a lot of distance to cover." Alex said as he sat down.

His move completely stunned Joseph. Joseph's face turned red as he shook his head.

"No, no, how can I ride on your back? I can walk on my own."

Joseph tried to stand up but just being forced to move his body made his mana tremble. It could break out any moment. He froze in his position. Alex went near him and helped him get on his back.

No matter how shameful it might be for him, they had no time. Although Joseph was heavy, it was nothing for Alex who had been constantly training his physical strength with Strength of the Hundred Dragons.

They walked toward the southeast. After a while, Joseph's expression turned ghostly as he asked.

"D.d.d.ddean.. are we going toward Asura Race's village? W-e-we- will dieeeee."

Alex was surprised by his shuttering. He didn't expect the person who trained so hard would be a coward.

He shook his head and said "That village is my base. I won't let them have it. And, we also need money to establish the academy. Asura's blood, scales, and horns can be sold in the market.

"B-t-t-but….. weeee areeee only two people."

"Why are you such a coward? I thought you would be a brave person." Alex asked.

"I am not a brave person... I don't know how can we win against the entire village." Joseph stopped shuttering as he got embarrassed by his own behavior and spoke.

"Well, it's time you learn a bit more about your dean and what kind of power I possess. I am quite itching for battle. But along the way, as we pass through Forest of Eternity, we will face off some monsters but I won't make a move. You have to defeat them unless they are strong."

Alex wasn't trying to be arrogant. The village where Asura lived was quite a small village and was also away from the Asura Kingdom so he wasn't afraid of them.

Even if they do possess some power being, he believed he can handle them.

Or else, his dignity of being the Strongest Mage in his previous life would fall in shit.

Currently, he was only in the Fourth-Tier. But, he did train something else yesterday night instead of increasing his mana. So, he was a bit more confident in himself.

Not to mention, this village was truly important to him. In his previous life, he had kept something in this village and sealed it. He had to wait for over eighty years for it to properly grow.

Now, it has already been hundred years. It's time to get that.

But before they reach Asura's Race village, the night came. The full moon brightened the night but they still decided to rest. Alex used some trap spells around them after they hunt down a few monster beasts.

This whole area had a lot of monster beasts but they were quite weak. None of them possesses the power beyond Rank One. There were barely a few monsters that made him make a move.

They bring some of the monsters which were edible and roasted them. Alex was quite good with roasting so he took the job. But, since there were no seasonings, it didn't taste that great.

They fill up their tummy and went to sleep after putting out the fire.

The next morning, they woke up early. When they were walking around, they noticed a few small monsters like boar and snakes dying around them.

These monsters were either burned to a crisp or slashed into several pieces. The traps that Alex laid were quite strong. After they hunt a few monsters and eat, they once again continued their journey.

Alex was surprised to find no monster above Rank One on their path. It was surprising considering they were walking in the Forest of Eternity. This was the homeland of monsters.

But considering that they were still on the outer edge of the Forest, his surprise quickly vanished. They resumed their journey until they finally reached the front of a stone gate.

There was a long stone wall spreading out from the gate and neatly four creatures were guarding outside. They were like humans in shape but their features were different.

They had dark red skin underneath the dark grey loose shirt and pants. The skin was only visible on their face since most of their bodies were covered with clothes.

It didn't hide the two long black horns on their heads and sharp teeth coming out of their mouth.

They were truly the Asura.
