Blood

"What has happened again?" Were the first words Lin heard the moment he had gotten to Kael's side.

"Shit! Kael!" Lin shouted as he got down on his knees to tend to Kael's wound.

"It's okay…" Kael groaned slightly as he sat up from the ground. "It will heal by itself."

"But…how did this happen? How are you back again?"

"I guess the one thing that makes us switch is blood…"

"Eh?" Lin exclaimed, his eyes twitching with surprise. "What do you mean you switch with him with blood? Why would you think your blood is the only thing that had caused the switch? How is that possible?"

*SIGH!*

Kael heaved a small sigh exasperatedly and then began to explain his analyzed resolve.

"Emma's story about transmigrating into this world began with how she had seen both Alex and I bleed at the hospital we were administered to in our present lives and that was due to the cut we had suffered from the demon we had fought with the moment we got here."
