Zombie Horde 2

With new command the Horde left the robots alone and marched towards the stone walls. The robots and Yimi still fought the undead, but quickly noticed that they were being ignored. Yimi just hoped Zak and the other druids could fight off what remined of the horde. She had a feeling the big players were about to strike. 

She was right of course. 

The Old Man and Treant landed right in the middle of the robots! They were pushed back a few inches. Yimi on the other hand was sent crashing into one of the robots that had managed to catch her. 

Standing in the center was the 45ft tall Treant and the Old Man. The Treant looked like a dead tree with a pulsing red blood system under it's black and grey bark skin. The Old Man was extremely pale with reddish orange eyes. Yimi knew who the old man was! He was Elder Unu! One of the first Druids to have moved to this planet. He and the Treant were both High-Rank 3 cultivators. Absolute powerhouses on this world, and many other worlds in the universe. 

"ELDER UNU WHAT HAVE YOU DONE" Yimi exclaimed in a mix of anger and sadness. Saddened by the sight of an Elder she looked up to had now fallen to such depravities. He was a pillar of the community always guiding the young ones and helping the animals. She was heart broken to see the monster he saw now.

"Now now Yimi" Elder Unu spoke softly, barely hiding his malicious intent. "This is how life should be. Living forever to guide those who have long lost the ways. Those that live in space and other planets have forgotten their roots and must be made to remember!" 

Yimi was confused by this drastic change in Elder Unu's personality. It was like a twisted version of the Druid Extremists who wanted to get rid of all technology. She had no idea where this new version of Elder Unu came from, but she didn't have time to worry or think about it. She had to take him and the Treant down!

"Enough of the chit chat" the Treant spoke. "We are going to kill you and turn you into a High Undead Yimi. And these robots" he directed his gaze towards them. "We will smash them and send a message to their master. This planet is ours!"

The Treant waved his hands as thick, nearly 2ft thick, wooden roots sprouted out of the ground aimed directly at the robots!

Thankfully since they were mostly separated and managed to dodge the attack. Although some of the roots managed to scrape them and leave small cuts. 

As the Treant attacked Elder Unu struck as well. Large chunks of earth quickly sprouted from the ground. 

"[Earthen Meteors]!" Elder Unu yelled as the large chunks of earth fell from the sky towards Yimi. She road her [Mud Slide] surfboard away from the main fighting. She went towards the direction of the zombies making sure to hover around them.

BOOM BOOM BOOM

The large slabs of earth came crashing down like meteors. One after another could hit the ground creating medium sized craters. Each slab of earth also crushed over 20 undead with each strike. Yimi narrowly dodged the meteors, but was hit by the shock wave of the last meteor. She was sent flying towards a crowed of undead. The undead noticed her and eagerly stretched out their hands and opened their mouths, waiting to sink them into her flesh. 

"[Stone Ball: Spiked]" She called out while spreading her hands out. A layer of stone quickly encased her in a ball and large 2 inch wide, 1ft long spikes grew out the shell. She looked like the tip of a Morningstar. 

SQUISH SQUISH SQUISH 

Yimi rolled into the horde squishing the corpses down into paste. She couldn't see where she was going, but moved based off of her memory. She rolled for a couple yards till she knew, or guess, she was out of the horde. 

"[Rock Explosion]!" She released energy from her hands forcing the [Stone Ball: Spiked] to explode in different directions. Shards of rock flew out in every direction killing more undead that had given up on catching her. She was correct in her guess of making it out of the horde. 

BOOM

Another large slab of earth came crashing down. She barely had any time to dodge out the way!

Cutting back a few seconds. As Elder Unu had summoned large slabs of earth and chased after Yimi. The Dwartle's circled the Treant as they were under attacks from large roots sprouting out from the ground. Some of them managed to dodge attacks, but others were pierced by the roots and had sections of their chassis' torn. 

Once they fully surrounded the Treant two things happened simultaneously. First the Treant clenched it's fists and raised them in the air. Large vines with spikes shot out of the ground towards the Dwartle's. Some were struck right in the chest completely destroying them, while others had limbs or other parts of their bodies torn. 

The other things that happened was all 15 Dwartle's unleashing their [Atomic Fire] onto the Treant! It screamed in pain as the fire burned it down on a molecular level. Enraged it fueled more energy in his spikes. Normally the Treant could have withstood some little fire, but when it felt the fire from these robots it was wrong. Severely wrong!

It could feel its entire body being burned and instantly knew it wouldn't make it out alive. So it decided to take as many robots out with him! He could fell the fire completely killing him as he rapidly created more and more spikes to try and take out as many robots as possible! With the last remnants of his life he let out a might screech that also was his last command to the undead. Sending them into a frenzy!

He didn't care about making them last longer. He ordered them to sprint and run and attack every living being they could find. It didn't matter how long the undead lasted. If their joints snapped or bones broke. He just wanted the undead to do as much damage as possible!

His body began to disintegrate from the fire as the roots he created started to slow down and die out. The Dwartle's stopped spewing fire once their first target was dead. 6 Dwartle's fell in battle. Nothing remained, but ashes and a large green root tied in a knot. One of the Dwartle's grabbed the glowing green knot and place it in their mini space chest. 

On the other side of the battlefield Yimi was being chased by Elder Unu on a floating rock. She did all she could to avoid his [Earthen Meteors]! Her robs were torn and had cuts and scrapes all over her body. She tried to launch more [Earthen Spears] at him, but attacking someone in the air while fleeing was a difficult skill. It also didn't help that the Elder could just change his flight path dodging the spears entirely. 

Although as soon as the Treant died something changed in the Elder. He stopped moving and and fell to his hands and knees on the floating piece of earth. It was excruciating pain. It was like a part of the core of himself was missing or dead! He turned his head to face where the Treant was and to his horror he watched the robots collect the core of the Treant. That was his other half! 

"AGGHHHHHH" he screamed incoherently and charged towards the robots! He was a madmen foaming at the mouth. He was part undead and the Treant actually had some control over him. When the Treant gave the command to the undead to go into a frenzy. That command was given to the Elder too!

___________ Going back a few minutes in time __________

Along the wall Zak and the other Druids did not remain idle. As the Undead charged forward attacking the robots they watched, to their amazement, the robots completely overpower the undead! Fire balls raining from the sky as the robots in front unleashed a sea of fire cleansing the undead. Zak and the Druids wanted to attack, but given the distance they felt like they would hit the robots or even Yimi. 

After a minute or two they watched the undead change tactics. They began to encircle the robots. Yimi had created a sea of earth spikes to slow them down and this was their chance! 

"Open fire! Shoot your bows! Shoot any ranged technique you have! Kill as many of undead as possible!" He shouted commands to everyone. 

They unleashed all attacks they could at the horde. Being able to attack the undead on the sides they managed to kill some without endangering the robots and Yimi. Everyone's moral began to rise drastically. They were finally whittling down the horde by a large margin! 

That was until hey noticed the horde change directions. Towards them!

Zak watched as a humanoid figure and a Treant landed right in the middle of the robots. He had no idea who those two were, but seeing them he figured they were the masterminds behind this undead horde. He had no time to think about that as the horded descended upon them!

"The horde is heading towards us! Call all those along the wall and send them here! We need all hands on deck to fight this battle!" Zak grimaced at the sight. Even if the horde was less then half of what it was, that was still thousands of undead! He just hoped he and the rest on the walls would be able to make it out of this alive.
