Hitting the Grind Stone 3

Diamondhead knew she was f#cked!

The men she had with her went weak in the slightest. They were the middle members of the Viper gang. She had to destroy these robots to make up for the loss of one member!

She channeled more mana into her attacks and screamed like a banshee! She hurled two large balls of acid at the robot that had just killed her gang member.

SIZZLE

The two globs of acid landed on the lead Dwartle. The acid began to dissolve part of its body. It's right side and half it's face was it. The acid only managed to dissolve 3-4 inches of its body showing its mechanical workings.

Seeing their leader in a rage the rest of the gang swarmed the robots attacking them, aiming for the joints. Some wanted to attack the lead robot since it had an obvious weakness, but no one wanted to get in Diamondhead's way.

It was an all out brawl! The Dwartle's were outnumbered, but were holding their own.

Each Dwartle fought two gang members at a time. They were both stronger and more durable then the gang members, but were slightly slower. Each strike from a gang member would do little to no damage to the Dwartle's armor, but a second later they were out of striking range as their friend attacked from the back drawing their attention.

While the Dwartle's were fighting the regular gang members the Lead Dwartle with the melted armor charged Diamondhead. She lunged back and threw more globs of acid at the charging robot.

This time that lead Dwartle was ready. It quickly raised its hands as its fingers split and began to spin rapidly. They started to glow a bright red hot as a torrent of flame spewed out melting the acid. It also stretched the 10ft to Diamondhead.

"AHHHHHGGGHHH" she screamed in pain. The fire that was used wasn't a normal fire. It was special technique [Atomic Fire]. It would burn everything it touched on a molecular level!

She quickly took off the cloak and some of her clothing. Revealing she was a Drugre. A dark dwarf. Although she was slightly taller and slender than most. She almost looked like a dark skin human.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS" her red eyes lit up in ablaze of fury and rage. She jumped back and clasped both hands together. She then split them apart as they raised above her head. In between her hands a large blob of acid began to form. Various shades of green and yellow swirled inside.

"EAT THIS YOU BUCKET OF BOLTS!" She screamed as she threw the giant acid ball at all the robots!

Seeing this the rest of the Viper gang jumped out of the way. They wanted no part in this!

The lead Dwartle jumped back while unleashing more of the [Atomic Fire]. The rest of the robots huddled behind the lead one and followed suit. Each of their fingers split into 6. Their fingers and hands began to rapidly spin till they flowed a red hot color. They too unleashed more [Atomic Fire]!!

Torrent of flame clashed against the viscous acid. Sizzling sound of liquid acid hitting fire filled the air as steam began to cover the room. The Viper gang covered their eyes and mouths and cleared the room. That steam wasn't normal. It was a mix of normal steam and acid. Burning all those that touched it.

Unfortunately some of the gang members didn't make it. As soon as they breathed in the steam they began to cough violently. They tried to scream, but their throat and lungs were literally melting from the inside. They would cough up blood everywhere trying to scream. Their eyes began to water as they fell over dead.

More then half of the gang died this way. Their bodies laid on the floor and began to dissolve.

Diamondhead narrowly got out of the smoke and kept her distance. She had her hands on her knees breathing extremely hard. Sweat dripped done her face as she waited for the steam to clear. That was her strongest attack [Acid Meteor]. It used nearly all the mana she had left.

As the steam began to dissipate her eyes widened to the sight! It was impossible! All 5 of the Dwartle's were still functional! Albeit barely, but they were still up and ready to fight. Their chassis' are mangled, wrapped and melted together. They all looked like shambling mounds of metal. Like someone took dozens of random parts from a junkyard and haphazardly slapped them together.

The Dwartle's were eager to fight. They slowly marched towards the gang members too stunned to move. They held out their hands and unleashed an even more violent flame on them. Even Diamondhead was too weak to move. She just gritted her teeth and accepted her fate.

Now that Lucas was full and read through some of the Runes he had unlocked he got an idea for his Security Minions.

He wanted them all to have a theme and that theme was animalistic! His Dwartle's already looked alien, but in an animalistic sense.

Sticking with that theme he wanted his Security Minions to be tall and imposing. Not like his alter ego of Kur, but close to it.

Going back to his personal room he cleared space on his desk and began to draw up the design he had in mind. He started with the height of the Minion being 7ft tall. He began drawing an overall frame to look like an armored Werewolf.

He made it hunched over to be able to grapple enemies easier. Having their center of gravity over a target to hold them down if they were being restrained. He made their backs heavily armored with spikes to deter attacks, forcing those to fight in front of the Minion.

He also decided to have built in weapons for this Minions. He embarrassingly smiled for forgetting weapons for his normal Minions. He hoped they were alright out there in the universe.

Regarding weapons he decided to give his Security Minions razor sharp claws, spiked elbows and knees and shoulder mounted missiles. His plan would be the shoulders would open up and launch micro missiles or harpoons to grab enemies.

He planned to make other handheld weapons later, but wanted to focus on the overall design.

The next thing he had to decide on was the rune he wanted to inscribe into the Minion. Every rune he had he wanted to use! They are all cool and unique, but he had to settle on the basics for now. He figured he could add more once he got stronger. He decided to settle on the [Kinetic Energy Absorption] and [Force Multiplier] runes.

With these he wanted his Wolfmen Minions to be able to absorb any attack, that had any kinetic energy, and nullify it's damage. He wanted these machines to be the front line fighters of his empire. His normal minions would become logistical support.

Lucas proceeded to spend the remaining hours working on the design of his Wolfmen. He was ecstatic to create a new minion!

Yimi couldn't believe her eyes. These 15 robots barely up to her chest were killing the zombies by the dozens in a matter of seconds!

The 15 Dwartle's stood in a line along the wall unleashing more and more of their [Atomic Fire]. The burned through dozens upon dozens of undead.

"Let the robots do their thing! You all move to reinforce the other sides!" Yimi gave commands to those stuck watching the onslaught. She had to get them back into the fight since these new allies were here. Whoever this Kur was she would thank them personally.

The Dark Druid and Dark Spirit watch this unfold from a distance. The Dark Druid was an old man with extremely pale skin and red eyes. He wore a black robe that hide his face from the sun.

"This isn't good" he grimaced looking at the robots on the walls. "Master had told use the outside world can't know about our job here." His voice was old and scratchy. He spoke to the Dark Spirit that took the form of a 45ft tall Treant. A type of tree spirit with arms and legs.

"Hmmm. This is a surprise. I didn't know the Druids help like this." The Treants voice was hollow and eerie. "I don't suppose you had hidden this information from me and our master?" The Treant said in an accusatory tone. "Because if you have our master won't be pleased with you."

The old man grew nervous before angers filled him. "Don't you dare insinuate that! I had no knowledge about these robots! I'm definitely sure they wouldn't have used them in the first place. The higher ups, and everyone on this sh#tty planet wouldn't dare to use technology. It has to be an outside force, but who I couldn't guess."

"Do you think our masters plan was caught on to? Who would even make an enemy of our master in the first place?" The old man had no idea what was going on. He was 90% sure that the Druids had no friends or allies off world. Yet who would send these robots to help them?!

"Enough panicking about the situation you child" the Treant spoke in a harsh voice. "We have a job to do. We must go out there our selves or direct all the undead towards those robots."

"Send the undead" the old man said with a wave of his hand. Hiding the fact he didn't want to fight and truly die. As fire was one of his only weaknesses. Besides a few other things he thought. "We have hundreds of undead. Let's just call them back and swarm one side."

The undead around the walls slowly began to pull themselves back and into the dead forest surrounding the walls. Everyone was skeptical of what was happening. Some even began to cheer thinking they pushed the horde back. But Yimi knew differently.

These undead were being controlled by a master. She didn't know who it was, but knew they were hidden and watching.

After seeing the undead hide in the woods she directed her gaze to the robots helping them. As a Druid she had a dislike for technology, but seeing these robots she was starting to have second thoughts.
