Hero

Yami and her two vampire slaves flew through the forest, and behind them, an army was running after them, shooting spells, and above them, many mages were flying, well also shooting at Yami.

'system how many people are after use?' Yami asked calmly

*around 100 on lands and about 20 mages above. The host should try and outrun them quickly as more people are coming.* the system said calmly.

"haha, so many people after me," Yami said with a smile.

"master, the sun is going to be up soon. what should we do?" Anna asked

'system, are you sure the dark camp is in front of us?' Yami asked.

*yes, host. You will bump into the hero of this world.* the system said as yami nodded.

"just continue throwing spells at those mages above. Try and knock one down for me if you can." Yami said calmly.

Anna nodded as she turned towards the sky, well still flying, and began to shoot bone spears at them.

10 minutes went by like this, and Yami and the vampires ran into the hero. The Hero was holding the sword that was stabbed into the ground. She was wearing an armor that covered her face and body.

*he is stronger than you. Fight to run, not win. your time to face where is when you master magic.* the system said

Yami nodded as her sword appeared in her hands.

She had Anna and Ella fly in first to attack the Hero. The hero grabbed the sword as he disappeared.

Boom

Yami blocked the sword slash from the Hero, as a shock wave that shook the trees was made.

*host, that's a med garden item.* the system said as Yami jumped into the sky to make some room

The hero pointed the sword at Yami as light began to gather. Yami quickly had Anna throw attack spells at the hero, but the Hero ignored it as a holy shield appeared behind him, blocking those attacks.

Yami gritted her teeth as she flew away into the sky. The Hero tapes his foot on the ground as he followed.

Yami didn't look back as she flew towards the mages that were floating there watching.

"demon, your fight is with me." The hero said as its speed shoot up, and tried to catch up to Yami.

*fly down* the system suddenly said, and Yami did as it asked. As soon as Yami flew down, she dodged a sword blade that would have cut off her arm.

*that's a sword skill host. Now fly to the demon camp. This guy will not dare to follow.* the system said quickly.

Yami flapped her wings and rushed towards the demon camp.

A red aura covered the hero as his strength and speed increased. He began rushing towards Yami, using everything he had to stop her.

Yami turned around using the spell dark shield to block the sword that came flying for her neck. The shield broke like glass, as Yami was sent flying towards the forest.

The Hero pointed her sword at the forest as he flew high into the sky. a large beam flew down, destroying a large part of the forest.

The hero fell to the ground, tried from using so much of his energy. The Hero looked around as he sighed, she that the Yami was nowhere to be seen.

"hero, are you alright." A woman asked as she gave the hero a potion.

She has elf-like ears and green hair.

The hero took off the armor, revealing a young woman with long blonde hair.

"you have overdone it, destroying a forest." the woman said with a slight frown.

"I'm sorry. I just couldn't allow the demon to live. It's just become a demon lord. If it could have mastered that power, this world would have been in trouble." The Hero said helplessly.

"Should I return you home?" The woman asked as the hero nodded. The woman held the Elf's hand and disappeared.

Back to the forest, a small bat was flapping its one wing.

As soon as the bat arrived at the demon camp, it turned into a female woman.

Yami sighed as she looked at her missing wing behind her.

*host, once you become a med demon, your body will transform. and new wings will grow.* the system said calmly as Yami nodded.

'what power was that?' Yami asked.

*host that is a med rank weapon. That last attack held the power of a med demon of the low stage.* the system said calmly.

'I couldn't even fight back.' Yami said as she remembered that attack.

Yami waved her hand as Anna appeared in front of her. Yami had to save Anna, or else she would be sent to the demon world. If Anna dies, then the contract would be destroyed.

Yami had to knock her out to our her into the system strange. As for Ella, she was dust.

"who goes here." a demon riding a demon wolf as it looked Yami up and down.

Yami let out her magical energy, which made the demon's eyes widened.

"where is the demon that was sealed?" Yami asked calmly.

"he is sealed within a ripe in space. The seal is slowly weakening." the demon said respectfully.

"I will be taking charge. What is need to break that seal?" Yami asked as she picked Anna up?

"the Holy sword, or a lot of souls." the demon said as it followed behind Yami.

"... who is the strongest demon here?" Yami asked.

"it's a 10 demons that are of the high stage. There are over 10 thousand demons here, ready for our leader to break free." the demon said

"10 thousand demons... have those 10 demons come meet me," Yami said calmly as the demon quickly did as he asked.

Not too long after, 10 demons with an army behind them arrived before Yami.

"although you are a low-level demon of the peak stage, we signed contracts with Gelio. he summoned us into this world, and we agreed to follow him." a demon with red skin and large wings said as he held a large sword.

"do you wish for me to help you free him or not?" Yami asked calmly.

"... what do you want." the skin demon with long claws asked.

"souls, you pay me to help you. after I free him, I will be on my way back to the demon realm." Yami said calmly.

"how much do you want?" a demon with a long tell and grey skin asked.

"if all of you worked together, how much sound could you all get?" Yami asked with a smile.

Everyone narrowed their eyes as they coldly looked at Yami.

"I just want 1,000 souls," Yami said with a smile.

"Why do you want all of these souls for?" a demon asked with a little greed.

It was dangerous to eat souls when you were not in the demon realm. By chance, you break through and surpass the world limit, all of the world power will fall on you and try to kick you out. Sometimes this ends up killing demons.

Most demons just make something to store these souls, but low-level demons like them don't have these items to hold souls.

So when the demon asked Yami that, some greed couldn't help but grow, with it thinking that Yami had these items.

"that's for me to know and for you to guess," Yami said as she began to release her magical energy, making that demon remember that Yami was stronger than it.

"We agree, but we will just pay you 500 souls." a demon after some thought.

"but we will give you these souls after you free him." he continued as Yami turned to leave.

"I will just summon my own army. You guys can continue waiting." Yami said calmly.

"... we can pay you 500 souls now, and you can begin to free him." the demon said with gritted teeth.

"make it 750," Yami said with a smile.

"don't push it," he said as everyone let their aura out.

"sigh, I will take 600 then," Yami said with a shrug.

"we will need a few days to get these souls." a demon said with gritted teeth.

Getting souls was not as easy as one might think. In a war, the souls will enter heaven or hell if you are not fast enough to grab them.

And you could end up dying when trying to get souls. It's hard for low-level demons, and higher-level demons wouldn't go out of their ways to help them.

(before a human soul enters heaven or hell, those few seconds, it just stays floating in med air is it being judged.)
