"Daemonium?" What's that exactly?" I asked.

"No time to explain, let's go," The boy said and started running, which we did.

I heard some voices behind us. It was a whole team, and from what I could see they were holding some spears with fire.

"Are they cannibals by any chance?" I questioned in a gasping voice.

"Stop asking and just keep running and don't look back, just look forward.

The boy was getting on my nerves, but suddenly a spear flew high past my right shoulder and just barely missed, hitting me.

I was already hurt from the stab the boy had given me, so my resistance wasn't the best at that moment.

"Hey, Anwynne, you seem to be wheezing, are you okay?" Sophia asked in a honeyed voice.

"I think I'm going to die, I"m just kidding, just keep running, these guys seem dangerous enough."

After a whole hunt, we finally found a safe place to hide.

"Okay, I think we're safe here," Ahsoka said.

I lay down on the ground, my injury hurting like hell.

"Anwynne, let me check on your injury again. I'm going to examine it thoroughly. ", Sophia articulated as she took off my onesie.

"Tch, be careful" I said in a panting voice as she touched my injury.

"Yeah, it'll take some time to heal completely. The stab was really deep. But from what I can see, it's regenerating on its own, but very slowly." Sophia explained.

"Regenerate? The hell?"

"Dumbass, it's probably one of your powers. You know that people with high mana have the ability to heal themselves. But they are really few and far between. Luckily, you are one of them," Ahsoka explained.

"Shut up, they'll hear us," The boy averred in a meeky voice.

"Okay, but tell us who they are. We need to know too," Ahsoka said.

"Tch, they are a clan called Daemonium, like I said, they are believed to be doing some kind of ritual with demons or something. They are very close to demonology, even though there aren't exist real demons in this world. They also have a special technique regarding the fire." The boy elaborated.

"Yeah, but why are you afraid of them?"

"Well, I guess I am on the run, I mean, I got away from them last night. So they are trying to find me."

"Silly boy, just go to them then," I said as I coughed.

"Do not move, Anwnynne, please," Sophia pleaded as she was ready to finish her medication to me.

The boy went to see if they were gone, the landscape seemed calm. So we were as good as safe.

"Okay, everything is fine, we can go."

"Could not we just fight them, lol?" I said.

"Lol? What's that?" Ahsoka asked.

"Oh, just a figure of speech from my previous world. Nothing special."

"Interesting, noted."

"Miss, the people in this clan have the ability to assassinate, so you would not stand a chance in combat." The boy averred.

"Well, we have swords, I think we could defeat them with ease."

"Do not underestimate them, they are dangerous, believe me," The boy said and started walking.

"Hey, where are you going?" Ahsoka asked, curiously.

"To the place where my mother is, I am sure she's worried about me."

"And where exactly is your mother?"

"She works for a resistance team, she's the leader to be exact."

"You have got to be kidding me, are you Kana's child?" Ahsoka asked in surprise.

"How do you know her?"

"Oh god, I should have noticed, you look so much like her, your red eyes and your pitch black her. Yeah, you are definitely her son, your spontaneity too."

"Yeah, everyone thinks the same thing, but how did you meet her?"

"Oh that, we were in the Knights of the Sun, your mother was so cool back then and pretty hot too."

"Y-yeah, I guess that's true. Anyway, let us keep going, I'll show you the way."

So we followed the boy just as the sun was rising. We still had a way till we reached the place.

The sun was getting hotter, but we decided to make a stop at a river to take a break.

The water seemed crystal clear, as always. I decided to take off my boots and cool my feet in the water. It felt so refreshing again.

"Ah, that feels so good"

"You seem to be enjoying it" Ahsoka said as she grabbed me from behind and threw me into the water.

"Are you stupid, I still have an injury, but I can't say this feels good"

"Oops, sorry..."

Sophia walked up to the boy who was standing alone on a rock, watching the river with the mountains in the background.

"Hey, are you okay?" Sophia asked.

"Yes, miss, I'm fine, I just like to observe."

"Hmm, it's not necessary to call me Miss, just call me Sophia, I want you to feel familiar with me," Sophia said in a sweet voice.

"You're so kind, S-Sophia, unlike the other two," The boy declared.

"Haha, but aren't they funny? Look at them," Sophia said, pointing her index finger at me and Ahsoka, who were playing in the river.

"Well, they really are like children," The boy murmured as she stepped down from the rock.

We spent some time there, but when the sun weakened, we decided to move on.

"Okay, we are finally here," The boy declared.

In front of us was a whole establishment. I could see some technological items, but it seemed strange, because Ahsoka did not know the word technology when I mentioned it.

"So where's the guy that's going to let us in?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, okay kid, you go in. We will come in later," Ahsoka said.

"Huh? Why?"

"Well....Ahsoka is a mage."

"A m-mage?" The boy questioned.

"Yah, hehe" I said with a smile.

"You know you can just go in, right? We do not live ten years ago."

"Ahsoka, are you stupid? Why did you lie to us? " I asked in an alienated voice.

"Well....hehehe, I have no idea that things have completely changed," Ahsoka said firmly.

"My mother is literally the leader, and she's a mage, not an origo."

"An origo? What is that?" I asked.

Suddenly a woman appeared with a huge sword on her back and a black eye patch on her right eye, while her red skirt rose from the air.

"Do me the honour of explaining, new comrade. And welcome to the mech zone," The woman averred with a broad smile.
