Chapter 1Face Down in the Dirt {1}

Lillian was not having a pleasant morning. her bed felt absolutely horrible and she swore it felt like the sheets were made of dirt even though they had been washed just yesterday.. she opened her eyes and simply laid there as her brain tried to process its surroundings. Sunlight filtered through large and domineering trees, the sunlight managed to make them seem friendly in some way though. Unfortunately she couldn't see any of this since it shined right in her eyes.

Finally it clicked and she snapped up and began to look around, luckily she still had her clothes, unluckily she was in the middle of the woods.

Instead of her panda themed pajamas she had on a baby blue sundress that stopped a few inches above her knees. Suddenly the trees seemed to be looming closer and the air was becoming difficult to breathe in, everything seemed hostile and ready to take her out.

One high pitched but melodic ring sounded inside her head as a blue screen appeared, it was very simple and only said, [Hello and welcome to a new world. Last night you slept the wrong way and ended up cutting off your blood flow leading to a painless but long death.] Seeing the screen everything seemd to calm down and return to a normal forest, although it was still terrifying to be alone in a forest. It took her a few minutes before she could read the screen and begin to process what was written on it.

By the time she came around a new screen was already there [I am a system meant to guide you, I am one of a kind in this world but there are cheap replacement for me. Please enter a name and a goal, they can be anything you desire however they cannot be changed later.] the system told her very firmly, Lillian was still in shock but did her best to calm down. She sat down and crossed her legs to think, this was a very important decision.

After an hour of deep thought she had accepted her fate and decided a new one, she spoke out loud "My name shall be Seraden and my goal is to become the goddess of healing" The system let's out a ding of confirmation before it gives her yet another window.

[Name: Seraden

Attack: 1

Dexterity: 44

Health: 2

Intelligence: 10

Stamina: 20

Wisdom: 13

Skills: none

Titles: none

Attributes: none]

Basically she was horribly weak. She sighed and noticed her stats screen didn't immediately dissappear "Um next" she says, her voice is much softer than she remembered it being. The window dissappeared with a soft ding while what seem like the finale one opened.

[Quest I: Find a master

Rewards: ???]

After reading it she decided she needed to find a village, it would provide warmth, food and more safety than a forest could. She got up and began to walk thankful that she.. spawned? wearing a dress that wouldn't get in the way so that she could easily hike. She hiked from dusk till dawn.. then dawn til dusk before finally spotting some flickering lights in the distance! She picked up the pace and smiled brightly as a tiny village came into view.

Fendle was a quaint village with less than one hundred houses, everyone knew everyone and then some. It was quite a shock to the residents when a beautiful girl walked in wearing a very unique dress. The only people who came to this village were people moving in, so many of the men and a woman paused their work to wonder if the lovely lady would be settling in their village. Her hair was frizzy and sticking out in every direction from the hike, and her body was covered in dirt.. but she was a future goddess so her beauty was still very noticeable.

No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at Soleia, his sudden action causing the woman to look confused at him. “Orion?” she asked, her hands on his chest to steady herself. “What’s the matter?” “That’s not a servant."
