He wrote it using the blood of monsters, which was as dark as a shadow but as red as crimson blood.

It was a vow to never betray or disobey Maximilian. Even if it was something that was only by paper, he made sure that every content inside was read and remembered.

Wendel: [Now, try signing it using your blood.]

With each one pricking their finger with a knife, they smeared the papers they were given with blood, immediately glowing as their blood was absorbed by the text.

The text would be then duplicated to become animated and float from the papers, flowing into the chests of those who signed each contract, creating a crest.
