Chapter 18: True Faces

Jredd fed him the elixir and soon enough, as if everything were just a dream, his bones soon quickly reshaped itself back to normal, and all his wounds soon closed.

Kendrick's still deep unconscious left Jredd to guilt.

"I'm sorry… I deeply apologize, Milord."

Jredd carried him away and placed him in the metal chair and locked him up. It could end badly if he doesn't do so. Considering his Milady has a short temper, it would be better to be wise.

Not too long, Kendrick soon enough gained consciousness.

He woke up once more tied to the metal chair, with Jredd standing in front of him.

"Ah, you're finally awake, Milord."

It seemed like Jredd has been guarding him since he passed out. He didn't think Jredd would be that kind to him.

Kendrick became so terrified once more when he thought about the pain he just experienced. They made all his limbs stretch until his joints broke.

When he looked at Jredd however, he could only see the sympathy and guilt hanging upon his innocent eyes. He doesn't want to do such a thing to him, yet he was forced to do so and watch..

Although he knew about all this nightmare and stuff from the game itself. He was glad there was one whose heart was still pure, hiding from the darkness.

Kendrick hesitated for a second, before asking Jredd for his help.

"Jredd… Please… I don't want to experience the same thing again. Please help me get out of this."

Jredd looked so down upon his Milord begging. He does want to help him but if he does so, his head would end up rolling on the ground in the process. He can't afford to risk it.

"I'm sorry Milord, but there's nothing I can do to help."

"Pleasee… I'm begging you Jredd… You're the only one who can help me get out of here…"

Jredd considered helping his Milord but he did treasure his life more. In answer to his help, Jredd left the room with a gloomy face.

Kendrick watched him leave as his face became even more twisted than before. He's starting to lose it. He's going insane now.

Soon enough, Alissa returned to the torture chamber and when she sees him awake in full health, Alissa couldn't help herself but to lick her lips.

"2nd round, are you ready, dear brother~?"

The nightmare started again and it didn't take long until Kendrick finally lost all the hope.

The torture never stopped. It was either pleasure or pain. In every start, Alissa would torture him in the most painful and traumatic way unbeknowst to man, and after the treasures, she would please herself and have s*x with him and stuff.

She would do everything to him each until finally, the last day for his audience with the Majesty has come. Tomorrow, he will be able to take a break from everything and if possible, escape the hell.

There was lots of stuff he was considering doing for tomorrow. He plans on telling Princess Ruri over everything and seeks her help. There's no way he would let himself be tortured till the end of his line.

While in such of deep thought, the door to the torture chamber opens, and Alissa walked inside, holding a scroll in her hand.

Kendrick, confused and terrified, stared at the scroll she's holding. He couldn't tell what kind of torture such a thing contains. But he had guessed it was something that'll break him again.

Alissa went over to Kendrick's side and held his cheeks. She seemed to be in a better mood than ever.

"Have you been a good boy, dear brother~~?"

Kendrick tried to shake away her hands, however, it just made her snapped out of it and pissed off.

"I got a surprise for you again and yet you're giving me this??"

Alissa sighed before she slap's his face with the scroll.

"I was going to let you experience the most fun day since you'll be departing tomorrow and what you're going to give me? this kind of attitude?" Alissa paused and licked her lips once more, and continued, "I thought I already broke you, but you were really tough. Well, whatever… Aren't you curious what kind thing does this scroll do, dear brother~?"

Alissa opened the scroll and started reading it in front of Kendrick.

"Próseche ta lógia mou, skoulíki tis symforás."

And from the scroll, a little devil worm came out. Soon enough, the letters from the scroll disappeared without a trace.

Kendrick was baffled and confused over what it may be.

Alissa guesses what's on his mind and forcefully opens his mouth before feeding it to him.

"Mmffhmhmmm!!"

Kendrick fought back but she still successfully fed it to him.

It was like he had eaten a slime, the worm entered his body smoothly and made and made his face look so twisted. He was so terrified over what the worm could do…

Alissa smiled in satisfaction before explaining everything to him.

"What I just fed you is the worm calamity. It's a rare type of worm that only exists in the north, dear brother~~ And it would eat its host's heart the moment it says the keyword I had written in the scroll."

Kendrick's brows widened in frustration.

There was nothing but only fear running amok inside his heart…

"The keyword is, if you say anything that were topic inside our household, you will die~~ Now if you're planning on telling the Princess or Majesty, drop it now~ Your death is already on the list~"

Now, he could truly say…

All the hope is lost. The light of hope that was gleaming in his eyes now did finally disappear. He has broken down completely.

Alissa watched him lose hope and smiled to her heart content. She licked her lips once more and kissed his cheeks.

"I'll give you the most pleasant experience before you depart tomorrow, dear brother~"
