"What's going on?" Professor Oak asks me after I call him.
"So–" I then begin to explain to him what happened and that I now have an ancient legendary Pokémon in my team.
"Ok… ok… ok…," Professor Oak says while thinking since I'm the first person to catch a legendary Pokémon.
"I'll make some calls and pull some strings… Give me a few days, afterward could I meet this Pokémon?" Professor Oak says to me.
"Yeah, we'll come back for you to meet them," I say and I can hear the excitement in his voice.
"I look forward to it! Talk to you soon," Professor Oak says before hanging up on me.
"So?" Cynthia says looking at me curiously while our Pokémon are getting to know Yveltal.
"Professor Oak is going to take care of it. The only thing left for me to look into is going to the old Hisui Island region. Leo has something there he needs to get, after that, well I'm free to explore were ever," I say to Cynthia who nods her head.
"Ok, since the next tournament for the Championship in the Sinnoh Region is in a few months and I want to take part in it," Cynthia says to me with a serious look.
"Then well head back to your home and make sure you become the next champion," I say with a smile and she smiles back at me.
"When is the next Master tournament?" I ask her since the Pokémon league holds a champion-ranked tournament only where the winner can challenge Professor Oak for the Pokémon Master title.
"Not sure… when was the last one?" Cynthia says while thinking.
"I believe it was… ten or more years ago… they really don't have a set time for it. I guess Professor Oak can decide when to hold it," I say shrugging my shoulders having not thought much about it.
"You can always ask him," Cynthia says as we all make our way out of the Frost Cavern.
"True, when he calls back I'll ask him," I say nodding my head as we make our way back to town.
Though Yveltal like Annihilape does not enjoy being in their Poké ball unless necessary. However, instead of using my shadow to hide in like Annihilape, Yveltal uses the connection of our souls to hide literally in my soul much like the orb to Giratina's dimension.
We then spend the next few days in town and waiting for Professor Oak's call back. Then on the morning of the fourth day, Professor Oak calls me back.
"Lucas, I was able to pull some strings and force some hands. You can now officially register Yveltal to your team. The only thing is, you now have pretty much everyone looking your way, and with the news of it spreading. You may be running into some of the underground trainers more now, I can only imagine the bounty that will be placed on you and your team now," Professor Oak says to me as I think about the information he gives me.
"I'm not too worried, but thanks for the heads up," I say to Professor Oak.
"Ok, just let me know when you can visit," Professor Oak says.
"Will do and Professor I have another question. I just remembered that the last Masters tournament was maybe a decade ago. When will be the next one?" I ask him.
"Oh, you think you can beat me now that you have a legendary?! We'll see about that!" Professor Oak says with a joking tone.
"Though they are not consistent, since it is more up to me when to hold them. However, the league will get all pissy if I don't hold them somewhat frequently. As things are going… maybe in a couple more years I'll hold the next one," Professor Oak says to me.
"Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the help and I'll let you know when I can visit again," I say before hanging up with Professor Oak wishing me good luck.
"Still want to do the duo battles? Even before Yveltal, I doubt anyone would be much of a match. Now with Yveltal, I doubt there really is anyone who can beat us," I say with Cynthia sighing and nodding her head.
"You're right… Ok, let's go to the old Hisui Region," Cynthia says and I nod my head.
"Yveltal, can you take us there?" I ask with Yveltal appearing and letting us climb on their back before taking off toward the now abandoned island.
The Hisui Region used to have ancient people living there, but then an unknown disaster happened wiping them out. Afterward, the island became very populated with wild Pokémon that were sometimes much larger and stronger than normal. The League tried researching what happened and the cause but the amount of resources they were dumping into the expedition was extremely high. Plus after years of finding nothing, they gave up and left the island, marking it off-limits to the public and labeling it a dangerous place recommended to Champion Ranked trainers only.
The speed of Yveltal was well past the speed of sound, reaching maybe Mach ten (7,680mph or 12,348kph). Thankfully with my abilities, we stayed on Yveltal easily and without any discomfort. The only time it got weird was looking down and seeing the world move by faster than our eyes can perceive. After a few hours, we reached the old Hisui Region.
Yveltal landed us at the old now in ruins of an ancient city where the 'Pokémon Legends: Arceus' game took place. Once we landed, the surrounding Pokémon quickly scattered away from the presence Yvelta was leaking out. Then Yveltal disappeared back into my soul, as Cynthia and I brought out the rest of our teams.
"This place is apparently very dangerous, so keep an eye out everyone," I say as our teams nod their heads while looking around.
"Is this the place where Leo needs to be?" Cynthia asks me and I shake my head.
"No, that is the volcano. I just thought you might want to see the ancient city and we could make our way to the volcano while exploring the island. As this might be the last chance we can explore together once you become the Champion of the Sinnoh Region," I say as Cynthia smiles nodding her head before walking around and taking notes and pictures.
We then spend the next hour exploring the ancient ruins of the city. With a few wild Pokémon walking back hesitantly watching us. Though from our two teams and with the power our teams radiated, none of the wild Pokémon were interested in fighting. Once Cynthia was satisfied with our exploration we moved on and began walking toward the semi-active volcano.
During our travels, we only came across a few Pokémon that tried to challenge us. However, with our combined effort we easily beat them before moving on. The strongest on the island appeared to be King/Queen ranked Pokémon. Though both Cynthia and I had several of them, with almost all my Pokémon being that rank, only Kirlia was not.
However, during our several weeks of travel, Kirlia was able to level up a few times more and I let her evolve one last time. Along with my new abilities, I was able to assist Kirlia by letting her absorb my energy which was almost infinite at this point. She was able to jump several ranks in potential because of this. Reaching Black Rank much like Annihilape and Yveltal.
Now my whole team was King/Queen Ranked, with Yveltal being God Ranked. Only a few dozen people could claim to have a full team of King/Queen Pokémon. With even less being able to say they have a team full of Emperor/Empress Ranked Pokémon. Now I just needed to figure out how to rank up my Pokémon from King/Queen to Emperor/Empress.
We then finally reached the volcano and made our way to the top. Once there I had to use my powers to keep Cynthia and I protected from the heat and gases. While only Leo was able to withstand both. We looked around and saw nothing that suggested what he needed to do.
"Let me see if I can see what's beneath the lava," I say while reaching out with my powers and then finding an ancient orb much like the one for Giratina. Expect this one to appear to be made from pure magma.
"There is an ancient Orb at the bottom. Leo want me to try to bring it up or do you want to get it yourself?" I ask him as he looks at the lava and then jumps in before diving below the surf.
I keep track of him with my powers while guiding him to the Orb. Once there he stares at it for a few seconds and then he swallows it. A few seconds later my connection to Leo is cut off and he appears to be surrounded by a cocoon of magma. I suppress my nervousness and fear while waiting for something to happen.
Then after about ten very tense minutes, the cocoon breaks open with Leo jumps out of the volcano. As he appears he looks very different, the biggest change is the fact that his mane, tail, and clumps of fur on his legs have veins of lava moving through them. Plus the power he was radiating suggested he ranked up finally reaching Emperor Rank along with also now reaching Black Rank Potential.
Leo then let out a howl of pride and triumph at his drastic change. It appears his change brought the other Pokémon on the island to call back in acceptance. A few minutes later the three legendary beasts appeared, Raikou, Suicune, and Entei. They all bowed to Leo as he stood over them with a prideful and stoic look on his face.
"Congratulations," I say with a happy smile and pat my partner's side as he nudges me with affection.
"I guess the world will have a new Pokémon Master soon," Cynthia says with a chuckle after seeing the changes in Leo.
"Professor Oak and my battle will be legendary!" I say mimicking Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda.
"I'm sure it will," Cynthia says with a laugh.
We then spend the next few weeks traveling around the island and exploring it. Allowing both our teams to gain more battle experience. Finally, after a few months there, I teleported Cynthia and me back to her family home in the Sinnoh Region. We spent a couple of days there before I teleported back to Professor Oak's lab by myself since Cynthia would be preparing for the next tournament which was now a few weeks away.
"Professor Oak, I'm here!" I shout as I teleport into his lab making him jump from my sudden appearance.
"Alakazam is supposed to stop people from doing that… Where the hell is he?" Professor Oak says annoyed at my sudden appearance.
"It's not Alakazam's fault, I just now outpower him and can push through the defense if I want to. So I did," I say shrugging as Professor Oak is glaring at me even harder.
"Sometimes… sometimes I hate you," Professor Oak says as I chuckle brushing off his anger.
"So did you want to meet Yveltal or not?" I say as his attitude immediately disappears and is replaced with an excited look.
"Well, what are you waiting for?! Let me meet them!" Professor Oak says while urging me to hurry up.
"Yvelta, this is Professor Oak. I trust him… Professor Oak this is Yvelta," I say with Yvelta appearing in the room, just barely fitting having to duck down.
Professor Oak just stares in awe finally getting to meet a legendary Pokémon for more than a few seconds. Though he just stands there stunned and lost in thought for a few seconds before speaking up.
"How old are you?" Professor Oak says while ready to take notes.
