In the morning, after waking up, I freshened up and then headed out to train my newly caught Elekid.

I also took Blissey with me because she can help with the training as she's a healer.

...

For the next 4 hours, I trained Elekid in training his electric moves while also training him physically.

And after getting satisfied with it, I headed back to the Pokémon Centre where I woke Serena up and then headed to a nearby restaurant to eat our breakfast.

After that, I headed straight to the gym while Serena headed to explore the city.

And after a few minutes of walking, I reached the gym.

The gym's exterior was that of a majestic, blue-roofed building with ornate architecture and a huge door at the front.

Entering it, I was greeted by the sight of a large pool and beside the pool were 3 beautiful girls in swimsuits.

"Ara, are you the next challenger or a fan?" said a girl with blonde hair with a smile on her face as she looked at me.

Hearing her voice, the other two also looked at me with curious looks on their faces.

"No, I'm not a fan. I'm here to challenge the gym leader. Who is the gym leader among you three?" I said with a straight face as I pointed at them.

"Ara, ara! We three are the gym leaders. You can choose any of us to battle for the Cascade Gym Badge," said the indigo-haired girl.

"Hm, who's the strongest one here between you three?" I said as I placed my hands inside my pocket.

"We three are equal!" said the pink-haired girl.

"Oh, if you're all equal then you can choose among yourselves who will battle me!" I said, still with a straight face.

"Then I'll be your opponent!" said the blonde-haired girl as she came forward with a smile on her face.

"Okay then! So, how many Pokémon?" I said without any reaction as I walked to the place designed for the challengers to stand on.

"It will be 2 Vs 2," she said as she walked to the place designed for gym leaders to stand on.

"Alright then. I'll be the referee," said the cheerful indigo-haired girl as she walked toward the judge's place and stood on it.

"Then I'll explain the rules. Only the challenger can change his/her Pokémon during the battle. Whoever's two Pokémon faint first will be the end of the match. Are you both ready?" She explained the rules then looked at both of us.

"Yes/yeah!" We both said at the same time.

"Then... START!" The indigo-haired girl said as the blonde-haired girl took out a Pokéball from god knows where and then threw it toward the air as streaks of red light came from it before forming a Horsea.

"Hor....seaaa" It shouted as soon as Horsea came out of its Pokéball.

"Elekid! Let's win this!" I said as I took out Elekid's Pokéball from my Pokébelt and then threw it toward the air as streaks of red light came from it before forming an Elekid.

"Elekidddd" It shouted as soon as he came out of his Pokéball.

"Horsea! Water Gun!" She said as Horsea threw out water from her mouth aimed at Elekid.

"Elekid! Dodge it and then use Thunderbolt in the water!" I said as Elekid jumped from the plate-like thing on the water and jumped to the other plate in the water, successfully dodging the attack.

Then he threw out waves of Thunderbolt from his whole body aimed at the water.

"Horsea! Quickly jump out of the water!" Seeing this, the blonde-haired girl panicked and hastily said as Horsea couldn't jump out of the water in time as the Thunderbolt successfully hit the whole water, reaching Horsea as it shouted in pain.

"Hooooorrrseaaaaaa" It shouted as in water, using Thunderbolt is 10x more effective and with it, Horsea fainted as her body started to float in the water.

"Horsea! You did good!" The blonde-haired girl said as she took out Horsea's Pokéball from who knows where and called her back as streaks of red light emerged from the Pokéball and surrounded the Horsea as Horsea disappeared and went inside the Pokéball.

"Seaking! It's your turn!" She said as she threw another Pokéball to the air as streaks of red light emerged from it before forming a fish-like Pokémon with a horn on it.

"Seaking! Horn Attack!" The blonde-haired girl said as the Seaking that was in the water started to go toward the Elekid in high speed.

"Counter it with Thunder Punch." I said as Elekid's hands were covered in thunder before he threw a punch to the Pokémon that was coming toward him, aiming the horn on its head toward Elekid.

As the punch and the horn collided, Seaking couldn't last long as it eventually backed off.

"Seaking! Hydro Pump!" The blonde-haired girl said as she knew her Pokémon couldn't last long so, she went with her Pokémon's strongest attack.

As Seaking heard it, he breathed in and then threw a huge water from his mouth aimed toward Elekid.

"Elekid, Dodge it and then use Thunderbolt with all your might!" I said as I saw the Hydro Pump reaching toward Elekid but before Elekid could dodge it, he was thrown like a sandbag toward the ceiling.

As cracks appeared on the ceiling, Elekid got off from the ceiling and then huffed a lot as he became severely injured.

"Elekid! Finish it with Thunderbolt." I said, seeing Elekid's condition as I knew he wouldn't last long in this condition.

As Elekid heard, he ran toward the water while charging his body and then he threw out waves of thunder toward the water.

"No, Seaking! Jump out of the water!" The blonde said seeing the history repeating itself.

Seaking tried to jump out of the water but it was too late as Elekid's thunder reached the water and it dealt 10x damage to Seaking who was in the water and with it being a water type.

"Sigh! It seems I lost pretty badly." The blonde-haired girl said as she called back her Pokémon inside her Pokéball as she walked toward me.

Then she called out a seal Pokémon from her Pokéball and from the seal's mouth, the Cascade Badge came from it.

Taking it, she walked toward me and then handed me the Cascade Badge.

"You're really powerful!" She said with a sigh as I nodded and then I walked out of the gym and then headed to the Pokémon Centre where I gave my Elekid to Nurse Joy for healing.
