First Family Dinner 12

After getting the pokeballs Reiss was also very surprised as he also thought that he missed very good opportunity but now he was very excited to participate in the competition as he was thinking he called the pokemon in it

"Glaceon!! "

Oh a Glaceon very nice an ice type pokemon against a ground type is good matchup. It was also radiating with blue colour, :| wasn't that pokemon he just caught but again it has evolved from Eevee so I think blue is the bottom line for grandfather.

Everyone else was also surprised by seeing this pokemon. Currently there are not much known Eevee evolutions available and it is known that Eevee can evolve into fire, water and electric type while there are also sighting of some other Eevee like evolutions like glaceon which is also very rare pokemon found in icy mountain and it has not yet proven that they are evolved from Eevee. But just seeing it in person also excited many as they have seen this first time.

Reiss also became excited after this and was also happy getting attention from everyone while this was happening I also released the pokemon.

After relising it, the air became cold around me and mist started coming from the place the pokemon was and everyone could only see the mist. After some time a small pokemon which looked like waring a pointed hat came out of it.

"Sno.. runt!! "

Ahh.. Snorunt that was unexpected. As I was thinking I saw a light blue light radiating from it.

What.. a light blue snorunt that should be quite rare I have not even heard of snorunt here , in the books only it is mentioned that this pokemon lives in icy mountains and is ice type pokemon that's all there was also not any mention about the evolution.

This also point to note that on the North of this kingdom there are large mountains which separates the kingdom from the Empire and these mountains are very tall and there is officially no one who has reached top of it, many tried exploring it but failed or never returned so it is like a forbidden place. Also because of this there are many ice type pokemons on the mountains humans have very little information about like this snorunt which is only found there.

Now that I look at it both glaceon and snorunt are from that place then I can assume that Grandfather went to Icy mountains before returning to the Dukedom.

As everyone astonished seeing these two pokemons for first time they knew much about glaceon to know that it is strong pokemon but not much known about snorunt.

The people who have met this which are also less have rated it as weak pokemon and everyone who knew this pokemon thought I got unlucky getting this for competition on another hand they also thought I was only one year old so Grandfather gave me this pokemon so I can control it easily.

Well like this misunderstanding spreads firstly the people who have met snorunt are one of the strong pokemon trainers who tried to reach top of icy mountains and they also see the snorunts which are on comparatively living lower than others so it's just that they assumed it was weak and have not explored it enough.

After we saw the pokemons Grandfather explained the pokemons to follow our instructions while fighting and they both agreed to it.

"Glaceon!! "

"Sno.. Runt!! "

After that we took back the pokemons and with pokeballs me and my mother with Reiss walked away from there while we were walking many family members were looking at us , many children who has not gotten any starters were also looking at us with jealousy. Well such situation didn't happen before those who didn't have pokemon couldn't participate in such competition and no one got temporary pokemon to fight like this and today also only two of us got the pokemon , well even if some grandchildren try to protest this decision we can give a reason like this is difference between status of main family and side family, but no one will protest as no one wants to go on bad side of grandfather.

As thinking this we walked and came some safe distance.

"Now Rex, Reiss don't be nervous in this competition, even though your grandfather has given you such good pokemon doesn't mean you can defeat that Gibble easily, but try your best !! "

"Yes mother!! "

With this we both went in our way, I went to where I was before while Reiss went outside I think he was going to prepare for the match. I don't want to do such things I am now going to show off the pokemon. While I was going towards Lucan , I also thought of many possibilities why did grandfather gave pokemons to us, is there any special reason also why give us both ice types, he knows that gibble is weak against ice types so is he trying to give us advantage in type as this is our first match.

Currently Glaceon looks stronger than snorunt but snorunt has great potential. Even though snorunt has good type advantage over gibble, I need to make a very good strategy to defeat it and pray that, that gibble is really not strong because if it is the sheer strength can defeat any startegy and it will be my guaranteed loss.
