New year special!

Outer Space, just above the planet Earth,

Floating around the planet, a human shaped being was looking down on Earth, sometimes grinning and sometimes frowning. What was weird was the fact that whenever his mood changed, so did the space around him. For example, when he was smiling, the space around him would turn colorful, yet when he frowned the space around him would start to crack and collapse onto itself, showcasing the dark, deep void inside. However, if one came a bit closer, they would realize that none of this affected the space around him. It was as if he was in another dimension or something. In fact, from up close, you could see that he looked just like a human, apart from the heterochromatic glowing eyes and the various markings all over his body. Suddenly, he started speaking,

"Ahh, the entire world is celebrating new year right now, and here I am.. stuck here in the ******. *Sigh*, and I can't even blame anybody, considering it was my fault. Ah well, there's not really much I can do now huh. Of course, after I am able to free myself, I will definitely be attending this celebration .... But damn, look at how happy they all are, celebrating with each other. Would they have been that happy if I was around them? There we have the First High school group, getting ready to blow some firecrackers and have some fun. Hmph, even with no emotions, Tatsuya sure seems to be enjoying this celebration huh. And there in the camp we have my company. Just looking at their drunk faces makes me want to punch them. Didn't I tell them not to drink when in the camp, period?! Even Vinay looks like he's having fun while the others are mostly too far gone to even focus on their surroundings. It really seems like everyone's forgotten me," letting out a small chuckle and then a long sigh, he continued,

"The only one who seems to even remember me is her. But it seems like even her memories are extremely blurred, although I guess her spell did help her quite a lot. Otherwise she wouldn't have even been able to remember what she does. Damn it, and I was hoping that at least she would remember me. It kind of, reminds me of my previous world, where I was always forgotten you know. It wasn't like I didn't have friends, no no, I had friends. Heck, I even had best friends, or well, that's what I thought of them as. And yet, every new year I'd somehow end up all on my own, just sitting in my room with maybe a few pizzas and binging on anime that I liked. In fairy tales, when the protagonists end up in a different world, they do their best to get back home, right? But who would want to go back to a world like that? In that world, there is no way to know the rules, or the goal, yet there are 7 billion players making whatever moves they want. Losing too much, or even winning too much incurs penalties. You can't pass your turn, and even if you talk too much, you'll be ostracized. Really, why would someone want to go back there? But anyways, it doesn't really matter to me, considering I won't be going back, Instead, I think after this I will be exploring a few more worlds. One good thing that came from me going to the ****** was that I got to know how I was transported to this world, and how I wound up in Alaukik's/my body. And even though I would have like to punch his(or her? Maybe it? Yea no, it was definitely a he) face, I still want to live a few more years. Well, I guess I'll just explore this world to it's fullest, and then go to another one maybe? Aaah, but there is so much I want to do in this world, will I even have enough time to complete it?? Although.. I am immortal now, so, not really worried about lifespan much. Ooh! Maybe I can go meet my favorite slime? Or maybe go and watch Naruto grow up.. ohoho, if that is possible, ahahah, I'm afraid Konoha won't be around long enough for Boruto to be born, although, I'd happily turn Naruto to the dark side.. ooh, just imagining Naruto in akatsuki uniform is enough to make me drool. Or, or maybe I could visit shirogane and shinomiya? Ehehe, that would be fun. I would love to go meet Zhang Xuan, or even Klein tbh. Heck, maybe I'll go explore Teyvat sometime. I'm sure the traveler is already tired to all the traveling he's done. Maybe I'll take on the next bit of it. Damnn, there just so much I want to dooo. But first of course, I have to finish what I started."

And with that, the boy vanished with a pop, returning to wherever it was he came from.
