Hitting Rock Bottom

As he hit the bottom of the rock's bellow

Blood trickled out of the corner of Li Chu's mouth.

"Truly pathetic" as a gruff voice penetrated the silence.

"To die on a measly test like this truly a shame" as a woman's smooth gentle voice echoed throughout the cave.

"Huh This one's interesting" the first voice penetrated the silence again, as they watched the blood touch the Nine Revolutions Golden Lotus, which stood rooted in a small tiny pond in the cave, which soon began emitting a blinding golden light.

In the golden Light, the nine golden lotus seeds were like golden beans.

They were naturally born, hiding in the lotus, emitting a soul-shaking fragrance.

The fragrance surrounded them, and countless spiritual powers surged.

This was the sign of the lotus seeds ripening.

Soon the lotus opened up and the seeds inside were revealed as the first one jumped out it darted towards Li Chu's body stopping only for a moment to check if Li Chu was truly dead to find that he only had a whip of life in him.

Seeing this the seed dived onto him and started to form the cocoon only for the speed to increase as two more of the seeds joined in.

As the three seed's formed the cocoon the other seeds seeing that their chance was getting away dashed towards him as the cocoon finally closed Li Chu's martial soul appeared seeing this four of the seeds dove towards it.

As it saw the seed's pounce towards it the martial soul opened it's huge mouth trying to swallow the seed's.

While seven other seeds were either repairing Li Chu's body or being eaten by his martial soul.

Another entered his mind as it started to try and stabilise and strengthen it.

The Nine Revolutions Golden Lotus seeing that one seed had been let out began to supply the three seeds who made the cocoon with energy as they lowered their guard the lotus seized the chance and began to fuse with Li Chu's body!

As the final seed saw this it latched onto the Nine Revolutions Golden Lotus and began to expand the already enlarged meridians of Li Chu's body.

Seeing this the voices were shocked into silence as they watched in trepidation and excitement at the scene unfolding in front of them.

(One Day later...)

"So this is the place after death?"

"Huh it's darker than I expected, why do I feel strange"

Jubilation came over Li Chu only to be stopped when he read the message again.

"What did it mean by yet?"

His face twitching he cursed the system only then noticing how much of a change he had been through.

His meridians were huge and clear, it wold be easy to breakthrough as well as increase his speed, As he marvelled over his new body that seemed to be made of perfect jade.

Panicking he immediately checked if there had been other changes as he hurriedly inspected little Chu.

Thankfully his little brother was still there, feeling more relaxed he released his martial soul only to be shocked at the sight that greed him.

His former Martial Soul a level 3 human was now a Heaven class level 1 Martial Soul but Li Chu wasn't happy as the system had changed it's appearance.

His martial soul now has a bowler hat, a monocle and Borat's moustache it had also changed to a golden colour with black and silver patterns covering it's body.

A he felt a mysterious force form inside him, only to be shaken by a powerful but soft and soft voice came from the darkness soothing voice from the darkness

"So what brings you here boy?"

At the moment the voice penetrated the silence he realised he wasn't alone as he scanned the cave for danger until his gaze eventually fell upon two skeleton's sitting next to each other.

Spotting the token glinting at his waist a gruff voice sounded

"Where did you get that kid?"

"Hah Hah after all these years someone finally came here with the token"

"So boy seeing as you've got that token how badly do you want it?"

"Huh?"
