It has been a while since I last look at 'Status' so I decided to summon the status screen.

I skim through my status quickly. Good news, I have increased most of my status but dexterity is still the same?

How does someone increase dexterity?

"Are you alright, young master?" Gill who was beside me asks me in a worried tone. Ever since I came back from the forest near the Clades' mansion, Gill has been even more overprotective.

That day I plan to go out by myself at night and ride Berry to feel better but the cyclops have to ruin it! I feel bad for her honestly, but my freedom... is ruin...

"Young master???"

"Y-yes Gill. I am fine." I silently grumble. I should get out of bed...

As if on cue, after I got off my bed, Gill arrive with a bowl of warm water. I soak my hands in the water and wash my face with it. "Master Charles and Lady Andrea are waiting for you at the dining hall."

When he mentions father and stepmother I was cursed to think about Daisy. "Don't you find Daisy kind of... off these days?"

"How so?" I ponder about Daisy's actions recently. It got me thinking if it was my fault that everything is not going according to the story plot, 'Why Not my Prince?'.

"She seems distinctly different, recently. As if she is possessed by someone else..." I said it softly, afraid that the walls have ears. I just shrug it off and went to the bathroom.

After thorough scrubbing in the bathtub, Gill is finally satisfied with how clear my skin looks.

Red patches on my body appear even though I don't feel the pain. Sometimes I question how is my body still alive?

It should be fine. Right? Gill help me get up from the tub and dressed me.

As we got closer to the dining hall Andrea's screaming was loud and obnoxious. I wanted to run away from there as it seems to be very chaotic inside.

Nevertheless, Gill opens the door. Thankfully what I saw was less messy. Though I can still see the usual scene of stepmother's face crumpled up in anger while scolding Avin.

When she saw me, she quickly sat down as if nothing happened.

I quickly sit down lead by Gill. He then rolls in a delicious plate of mushroom soup that resembles portobello and button mushroom being mixed in. At the side, there was mouth-sized buttered bread.

"Careful, it is hot." Gill slowly back away rolling the tray away from the dining hall. The steaming mushroom soup's fragrance spreads all over the room.

"How can you continuously eat that nasty thing?" Andrea spoke in a spiteful tone, soon after Gill left.

"Anyways the invites from Soleil and Orion have already arrived. Aust and Avin, you both can read the invites later, it will be sent to your room."

Gradually we ended our breakfast smoothly. I quickly headed for my lessons. The entire day was uneventful as per usual.

When it was dusk, I went back to the room to rest but was stopped by Gill. He handed me a small envelope with a luxurious design. The stamp was in crimson red with the iconic design stamped on the dried wax.

Gill automatically handed me a knife for cutting the wax invite. I cut it smoothly like slicing with a hot knife through butter. I pull out the letter written by the School's staff.

It reads, " Greetings student If you want to join the school..." I skipped the majority of the later and read the key points of the letter, the start of the letter is mostly about rules and regulations. "you got accepted to the school. We can't wait for you to enrol into the school! Before the Academy starts, we will be sending you another letter."

That was all written in cursive and fancy fonts and ended with the iconic wax seal at the bottom of the letter. It signs off by Alexander Feuer the principle.

I quickly read through, left it on the table and went to bed. That night, I was very drained. Just like that, time flies quickly. Gill was preparing for my birthday. It was as if he announced to the entire household that my birthday was coming even to his other coworkers.

It was a pleasant day since my father allows me to do nothing since even he heard my birthday was coming. I spend my entire day staying in my bed reading novels.

Yes, even BL novels exist in this realm. Apparently, they are the most popular among women. I guess when the maids come in to pack my bed daily, they surprising put in some fantasy BL novels or they just want to convert me into a fudanshi*.

I think it is the latter since they are the ones who tidy my bookshelf. The one I was reading was more or less child friendly. There were merely holding hands and slight kissing scenes but that was it.

The story plot was interesting though. It was about a rancher and the librarian, 2 different background and 2 different personalities clashing together. The title is "The one true book", it sounded very mysterious so I decided to have a look.

It was the only book that did not disappoint me. I turn to the page with the author's name and imprint it in my brain.
