"As for Emily....I made it such that she was not interested to join any club and hence randomly joined the Art club, because a student has to join atleast 1 club...Well it is fine as long as I stay the hell away from Hiking,cooking and art club it's all good. Definitely best if I stay away from the MCs"

Will was walking in the corridor of the academy. Around him he could see students bustling past him.

There were a lot more students than normal as it was the start of the club joinings. As such one could see the seniors shouting about their clubs and interested 1st year talking with them.

Will kept moving forward and stopped in front of a class. On front of it was a chart on which it was written "Reader's club"

'Ah the reader's club..... All I'd have to do is to read books, eat cakes and talk about the books with other fellow Weebs...I mean students. Yeah my kind of club'

Will feeded his name on the digital tablet outside and "Ping" a notification came on his phone, which thanked him for joining the Reader's club.

He then went inside and saw some 1st years sitting inside.

When they saw Will, all of them introduced themselves. Will as a matter of courtesy did that too but when he mentioned his rank, he could see from the faces of the other students that they had lost all interest in him.

'Sigh... I guess talking with fellow weebs...students is off the list. Atleast I still have books and cake'

He sat on the last seat and started looking out of the window.

The sound of the door opening came. Will guessed another student must have come to join the club and hence didnt bother looking, but noticed that suddenly everyone had stooped talking and there was a big pause.

He then heard footsteps in that silence which were becoming louder and louder with each passing second.

Then came the sound of someone sitting on the desk beside his desk.

Out of curiosity Will looked at his right and his eyes widened.

It was Emily.

Emily had been wandering in the corridor looking at different clubs.

'Hmm Silver has joined hiking club, but it'll just take a lot of time away from my training so it's a no go'

'I can join the cooking club to be with my sister.....but then I'll disturb her and White's together time..... sigh I dont want that. Ok so lets do eenie meenie minie moe and join any club'

As she was lost in her thoughts she saw a guy walking in front of her.

He had black hair and looked quite average but still Emily had her eyes on that person.

She saw him enter his name in one of the clubs and entered it.

She went to that room and saw the club - "Reader's club" and then smiled.

'Perfect. Joining this club wont take a lot of time. Plus I'll be able to find more about him too'

Emily was not nosy at all but the way Silver was interested in this guy and how her sister had told them that he was hiding his strength, anyone may get curious. Further joining this club did not do any harm to her, and even if she would have not found anything about him , it would have been ok as a student has to compulsorily join a club anyway.

Emily entered her name and went inside.

There she saw the black haired guy sitting at the last desk. He was looking outside while his blue eyes were transfixed on the clouds in the sky.

Emily went near him and sat in the table besides his.

After that she saw his eyes move towards her direction and then they widened.

Yes Emily was not supposed to join this club and Will had settled for a club which didnt have any of the MCs, but the butterfly effect had again come into picture and had again slapped Will left, right and centre.

'Crap....I thought she would have joined the arts club. Why did she come here ?'

'Its ok its ok. Calm down' Will shifted his gaze from Emily and again started looking outside.

'Well on the bright side, atleast it's Emily and not Silver or White....yeah It's fine.' Will smiled.

"Quiet down everyone" A senior entered the class.

"First of all, I welcome all of you to the Reader's club" The senior stood at the podium. He looked at all the students with his eyes lingering on Emily for a few more seconds.

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Devin , Year 2, Rank 623"

Will looked at Devin and again his eyes widened. 'Devin ? What's he doing here ? Was he the senior incharge of the reader's club members of the 1st year ? CRAP'

Today was definitely a day full of surprises. If Will had known that Devin was the coordinator selected from 2nd year for the book club, he would have never joined it.

Afterall it was Devin, one of the demon soulbound of the academy.
