CHAPTER 44 : Beneath the Surface
The Sea King's roar echoed, causing massive waves to surge toward the boat they were on. Castiel quickly thought of a way to prevent them from capsizing. Using his telekinesis, he lifted the boat into the air, while employing his levitate skill to keep himself afloat, preventing them from being swept away by the giant waves.
The boat hovered above the water, its shadow dancing over the rough ocean below. The Sea King stared at them intently as they slowly rose into the air.
Feeling irritated by the Sea King's unwavering gaze, Bubble ignited her hands with fire magic. Flames crackled and hissed as she hurled a ball of fire toward the Sea King, a trail of embers marking her path of defiance.
The Sea King responded with a swift motion of its long tail, slapping the water to create a towering wall of water that rose to meet Bubble's attack. The flames fizzled out against the wall, leaving only steam and disappointment.
