CHAPTER 9

"No, he has not yet fully grasped what he is. That's why I asked Derek Hale to teach him."

"Hm? Why?"

"Because Scott has been staring at my sister every day since my sister entered the classroom, and bitten werewolves' emotions get out of hand in these kinds of situations, so he needs to be trained so he doesn't try to hurt my sister and get killed by me."

"Oh I see. So how did you met with Derek Hale?"

Then I told her what happened at the party the night before, except of course [Hollow Purple].

We are back to the lesson. And this time there was a lunch break after class.

After a long and boring class, it was finally lunch break. Normally I'd always sit alone, but this time Anna wanted to sit with me and in the end I accepted because Anna was fun to hang out with. This time my table was really crowded than usual. Allison, me and Anna. More so I thought.

All of a sudden my table became overcrowded. Jackson, Lydia, Scott, Stiles, and a few more from the Lacrosse team.

"Damian, aren't you thinking of joining the lacrosse team?" Jackson asked.

"I refuse I don't like lacrosse."

"You don't like lacrosse?!"

"That's right, I don't care anything about lacrosse." When I finished my sentence, I started getting strange looks from both Jackson and the other Lacrosse team.

'These guys are so annoying. This bullshit lacrosse talk of these guys is killing me. It's even more annoying that Jackson's 2 out of 3 words are lacrosse.'

"Jackson, if you're going to talk about lacrosse, can you go somewhere else? It's really annoying." I couldn't take it anymore and said it. I don't have any hostility towards sports, but there are people at the table who are not interested in this sport, and the constant talking about lacrosse started to annoy both me and Anna. We wanted to sit and chat together, but he kept talking about lacrosse and trying to drown out our voices.

"You know, we're here eating and chatting, so you can't ask us to go." Jackson said.

"Sigh... I didn't invite you here, you came by yourself, and I want to chat and have dinner with my friend here, but you have officially turned this place into a meeting place for your lacrosse team. Also, Anna and I came first, you are the intruders. Also, I didn't tell you to go, I said go if you're going to keep talking lacrosse. I don't know if you have nothing else to talk about other than lacrosse."

"You-!" Jackson raised his fist and grabbed me by the collar.

"If you don't pull your hand and move that fist, I'll break that arm. We'll see if you can play lacrosse later." I threatened Jackson with an angry expression on my face.

"Tch. Whatever let's go."Jackson said and got up from the table with the team. At the table now were Scott, Stiles, Allison, Lydia, Anna and I. Lydia stayed because she told Jackson she wanted to stay with Allison.

"You know, Anna, I'm actually trying to make a manga."

"Really, what's his name? What's the subject?"

"It's called Solo Leveling. It takes place in Korea..."

And then we started talking about manga with Anna. Others were looking at us with confused expressions, after all, we were chatting in a way that we were immersed in something that they did not understand what it was.

"Scott, you seem to have gotten pretty good at sports these days. You don't even take your asthma medication. As far as I know, asthma is not something that gets better, though." After a while it occurred to me and I asked Scott.

"W-Well I'm using dude."

"Is that so, I thought you got better because you didn't have any asthma problems despite running all the way playing lacrosse. By the way, do Scott and Stiles have a date?"

"No but why are you asking all of a sudden?"

"It's just curiosity. Oh, by the way, stay out of the woods for a while."

"Hm? Why?" Lydia and Allison asked.

"I heard that there was a wild animal in the forest. And I've heard that it wasn't a mountain lion, it was much bigger and stronger."

"Really? I thought it was a mountain lion. So what is your guess?" Lydia said.

"How about Werewolves?"

*Cough!

*Cough!

Suddenly, Scott and Stiles nearly choked on their drink.

"Pfffffftttt... Hahahahahahahah... Guys don't be scared so much it's just a urban legend." I said while laughing.

*Chuckle

Anna started to chuckling.

Then we finished our meal and left.

"Man, did Damian know?" Scott asked to Stiles.

"I don't know, but he seemed to know. He gave you small glances as he talked about werewolves."

Scott and Stiles were walking down the hall at the same time talking.

"What's up wolf boy."

"Woah!"

"..."

Stiles' usual shout of surprise echoed throughout the hallway. Then they both started looking at me seriously.

"Don't be so serious, I'll help you."

I gave them both a piece of paper with the time and place.

"Come to this address today, many things will be revealed, including what you are. You also have to be careful at night. No matter the time of the full moon, don't leave the house or you will be hunted." I said and left.

They both looked at me with skeptical and disbelieving looks.

"If you don't want to come, you can't come, but if you get hunted running in the woods in the middle of the night then it will be bad for you."

"Did you have to talk to them that way?" Anna said.

"If I talk like this, they will come, and isn't it cooler like this?"

"Fufufufufufufuf... So your main goal was to pretend to be your cool undercover helpful character?"

"I wouldn't say it that way, but my main goal is to have fun. Acting like this amuses me."

Afterwards, Anna and I returned to the classroom and began to sit side by side. While the lessons were flowing normally, we were chatting during the breaks. Okay, maybe we were starting to like each other a little bit. So a liking that goes a little further than friendship.
