24 Imperishable Night (Part 2)
Richard: "I... I'll participate in the incident."
Suddenly Richard had a revelation
Richard: 'How does she know about the incident?'

Yukari POV: 5 minutes earlier

Yukari can be seen with a red face swinging a bowl of sake around her room while stumbling in one spot. The room has a Japanese style interior but is covered with mess like dishes and clothes but the only visible abnormality is the windows showing a purple space filled with red eyes instead of a blue sky.
As Yukari stumbled around her room, the effects of the sake beginning to take hold, her mind couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something was amiss.
Yukari: *hiccup* "Hmm... Something is... weird..."
As she muttered to herself, trying to piece together the fragments of information swirling in her mind. Suddenly, she lost her footing and she fell head first directly into the wall next to her bed
With a resounding thud, Yukari collided with the wall, the impact jolting her for a moment, she lay there dazed, trying to shake off the effects of the fall and the sake that clouded her mind.
Yukari: *groan* "huh?... What was I... thinking?"
*thud*
A calendar had fallen off the wall and landed right onto Yukari's head and adding insult to injury. Rubbing the sore spot on her head, Yukari grumbled and picked up the calendar, squinting at the date.
Yukari: "huh?, this is from last year..."
Yukari blinked several times, trying to focus her blurred vision on the calendar in her hands. The realization that she was looking at an outdated calendar only added to her confusion.
Yukari: "I must have forgotten to make a new one..."
As Yukari muttered to herself, her mind slowly began to clear from the haze of alcohol.
Yukari: "I will just change the boundaries on this then..."
Despite the lingering effects of the sake, her mind sharpened as she focused on changing the calendar. The blurred lines of reality bent to her will as she corrected the calendar. but she suddenly reminds herself of something important
Yukari: *groan* "Before I forget... I will add all the upcoming important events"
Yukari began to alter the boundaries of time once more, adding all the upcoming important events to the calendar. Despite the lingering effects of the sake.
Yukari: "Let's see... An Incident, the Harvest Moon Festival, Taco Tuesd- ... Eh? wait... an incident?"
As Yukari's gaze fell upon the entry for the upcoming incident her once flush red face instantly returned to her normal colour and her drunken relaxed face instantly grew serious, she immediately shot upwards into a standing position with no sign of her drunken stumbling that was there before
Yukari: "An incident... I will need to go to Reimu."
With a sense of urgency, she knew that she needed to inform Reimu, the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine
With a gesture, she opened a gap, a portal in the fabric of reality, leading directly to the Hakurei Shrine.
Yukari: "Lets get this over with"
Stepping through the gap, Yukari emerged near the shrine's entrance, but her attention is drawn away as she near immediately hears a thunderous sound above her
*BOOM*
the sudden thunderous sound above her startled her. Looking up, she saw the sky split open, revealing a massive hole that seemed to stretch endlessly into the void beyond.
Yukari's eyes widened in surprise and concern
Yukari: "Has the incident started already?"
While Yukari was thinking about if the incident has started already, her enhanced hearing had picked up the voice of someone nearby
Richard: "I might have overdone it..."
she turned to see him standing not far from her, his expression a mixture of awe and concern as he looked up at the tear in the sky.
Yukari: "Ah, so it's him"
Yukari had reminded herself of his antics of when they first met, and so she chuckled at the thought. But him being able to do something like this was unexpected as he was not at this level of power when they had last met
Richard: "I need to be more careful with how I wield this power..."
Richard: "..."
Richard "I'm not in trouble for doing this, right?"
His voice was tinged with uncertainty as he contemplated the potential consequences of his actions. While his intentions were not malicious, the sheer scale of the disruption caused by the enhanced Dismantle skill left him questioning the extent of his responsibility.
Richard: "I didn't mean for this to happen..."
He muttered, his thoughts racing as he considered how to address the situation. With a deep breath, he found a solution

Richard had disappeared from Yukari's line of sight, but his dialog had confirmed something to Yukari
Yukari: "Oh?, I suppose he is not the cause of the Incident today. Since he did not mean for this"
*sigh*
Yukari: "I want to go home already... I'm tired..."
Yukari's thoughts wandered to the comfort of her own bed, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle upon her.
Yukari: "Oh! I have an idea"
Yukari moved her hand in front of her and opens a large gap in front of her, she then goes through the gap and the surrounding twist and contort until it reveals the entrance of the hakurei shrine, with the back of Richard in view
Richard: "Like hell I would stay and let people know I did that, nobody needs to know it was me."
Richard's mind raced as he considered the potential consequences of his actions. He knew that revealing his involvement could lead to unwanted attention and possibly repercussions from Yukari or Reimu. With a sense of urgency, he focused on finding a way to rectify the situation without drawing attention to himself.

Richard felt a tapping sensation on his shoulder and brushed it off, thinking it was Reimu wanting him to do some chores.
Richard: "Yes, Reimu? I'll get to it in a moment."
But when he turned to look, his heart skipped a beat as he realized it wasn't Reimu at all. Instead, standing before him was Yukari, her smile suggesting she knew more than she let on.
Yukari: "Ara ara~, Richard. What have you been up to?"
Her voice was calm, but there was a glint of amusement in her eyes, as if she found the situation rather entertaining. Richard gulped nervously, realizing he might be in for a conversation he wasn't prepared for.
Richard: "Um, hello, Yukari. I... uh..."
He stumbled over his words, unsure of how much Yukari knew about his recent actions. Despite his attempts to remain composed, he couldn't shake off the feeling of being caught red-handed.
Yukari: "No need to be coy. I must say, that was quite the display you put on just now."
She gestured upwards, where the gaping hole created by Richard's enhanced Dismantle skill still lingered, a stark reminder of his unintentional mischief.
Richard: "I... I didn't mean for it to be so... big. I was just testing out my abilities."
Richard's explanation sounded feeble even to his own ears. He knew Yukari was not one to be easily fooled by excuses.
Yukari: "Experiment, you say? Well, it certainly caught my attention, as well as the attention of others, I'm sure."
Her smile widened slightly, as if she found the situation amusing. Richard couldn't help but feel a sense of dread creeping over him as he awaited Yukari's next words.
Yukari: "But fear not, Richard. I will give you two options to pick from. And if you do either one, you will be free from my punishment."
Richard's heart raced as he awaited Yukari's two options. He knew that whatever she proposed would likely have significant implications for his future in Gensokyo.
Richard: "What are the options?"
Yukari: "Well, Option one is to participate with Reimu in the incident that will happen later today in my place, Option two is to kill yourself"
Richard's eyes widened in shock at Yukari's options. Participating in the incident alongside Reimu seemed daunting, especially considering the potential dangers involved. On the other hand, the notion of taking his own life sent a chill down his spine.
Richard: "Participate in the incident or... kill myself?"
Richard took a deep breath, steeling himself for what lay ahead. Despite the overwhelming pressure of the choice before him, he knew he had to face it head-on.
Richard: "I... I'll participate in the incident."

Richard had just agreed to participating in the incident over the fear that Yukari had imposed into him, but after his agreement he suddenly had some doubt
Richard: 'Is she even that strong?, I have had a massive powerup. So I must be stronger right?'
Richard: 'System, open her status'

Richard's eyes widened as he processed the information before him, realizing the magnitude of Yukari's power. Despite his recent power-up, he understood that facing Yukari in combat would be a daunting challenge.
Richard: "She's... incredibly powerful."
Yukari opens her purple fan and covers her mouth before replying to Richard
Yukari: "Ara Ara, You know Its rude to zone out while in a conversation?"
Yukari's voice broke Richard out of his contemplation, and he quickly composed himself, realizing he had been lost in thought.
Richard: "Ah, no, sorry. Just... processing what you said."
He offered a nervous smile, hoping to deflect Yukari's attention away from his momentary lapse.
Yukari's enigmatic smile widened slightly, as if she found Richard's reaction amusing.
Yukari: "Oh, I see. Well, it's understandable given the circumstances."
Her tone was light, but there was a hint of curiosity in her eyes as she observed Richard.
Richard: "Right, well... bye"
Richard's attempt to end the conversation abruptly did not go unnoticed by Yukari
Yukari: "Oh?, you're quick to get me to leave, am I not welcome?"
Her tone was teasing, suggesting she wasn't about to let him off the hook so easily.
Richard shifted uncomfortably under Yukari's gaze, realizing he couldn't simply walk away from the situation.
Richard: "Um... right. Sorry, I just... I need to do my normal morning routine, since I have not done it yet"
He offered a sheepish smile, hoping Yukari would understand his reluctance to delve into the choices she had presented.
Yukari's smile softened slightly, and she nodded in understanding.
Yukari: "Ara Ara, well I know when I'm not wanted"
With a flick of her fan, Yukari disappeared into the gap, leaving Richard to contemplate his next steps amidst the looming threat of the incident.
Immediately after Yukari leaves he slaps himself on the face, near full force leaving a small red mark where he hit himself
Richard: "..."
Richard: "This has gotten a lot more complicated..."
Richard: "I can't believe I agreed to participate in the incident... But what other choice did I have?"
His thoughts raced as he tried to make sense of the events unfolding around him. The revelation of Yukari's immense power only added to his sense of unease
Richard: "I need a plan..."
Richard: "The plot wont go like it would originally so Reimu's plot armour wont work, If Yukari and Reimu met at the shrine naturally then it would"
Richard: "But that sky cutting thing messed that all up!"
Richard realized the disruption caused by his actions had thrown off the natural course of events in Gensokyo. With Yukari's intervention and the looming threat of the incident, the situation had become even more complicated than he initially anticipated.
Richard: "If Reimu's plot armour won't work as expected... Then I wont bring her along in the first place"
Richard's mind raced as he considered his options. If Reimu's plot armour wouldn't be effective due to the altered circumstances, he knew he needed to approach the situation differently.
Richard: "Would I be able to convince them to stop the incident?
As Richard pondered his options, he considered why the incident even started in the first place
Richard: "Since the incident started because the whole of Eientei did not want to give Reisen back to the Lunarians"
Richard: "What if I use my troll points to completely hide Eientei from people who don't have permission to go there"
Richard's mind buzzed with possibilities as he considered his next move. The incident's origin at Eientei also gave him another concern
Richard: "It would be pretty awkward to go back after disappearing from there for a year or two"
Richard: "..."
Richard: "Why did I even leave Eientei?"
Richard's mind raced as he tried to piece together the events leading up to his departure from Eientei. Memories flashed through his mind.
Richard: "I guess it was for some money, but why did I not return? hell, I didn't even think of coming back!"
Richard shook off the thoughts that were bothering him so that he could focus on his goal of plotting to stop the incident
Richard: "that's not important right now, I will just teleport in. explain that they wont need to worry about Lunarians after I set up the barrier, and leave."
As he formulated his plan, Richard couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the back of his mind.
Richard: "This seems a little too easy..."
*shrug*
Richard: "well, I'll die anyway if I don't do this."
With determination in his heart, Richard focused his thoughts on Eientei, visualizing the familiar surroundings as he prepared to teleport to his destination.
Richard: "Whelp... Here goes nothing."
*fwip*
With a swift motion, Richard used his long ranged teleportation technique from gojo's mastery over lapse blue, disappearing from his current location and reappearing outside Eientei
As he gazed up at the imposing structure before him, he took a deep breath and prepared himself for what lay ahead.
Richard: "They wont attack me on sight right?"
