Chapter 23

(Authors note:please forgive me if this sucks I wrote this so I can give at two chaoters this month.)

Lucifer POV

I returned to my home where young Malakai was being treated by Freya I had contacted her telepathically about Kai's arrival the moment Freya saw me she questioned "What happened to this child."I simply replied "Siphoner."

Freya had the look of understanding she had heard of siphoners and their awful treatment because of their inability to use magic without siphoning from other sources from Valarie.All known siphoners have originated from the Gemini Coven.All six siphoners were cast out of the Gemini Coven because of this as she had taken care of all Kai's wounds as she asked "So what do you plan to do about the child."

I was still looking at Kai replied "I am going to adopt him."When Freya heard this she looked at me and asked "Have you discussed about this with Bekah."I shook my head said, "No I have not told her about this."

It didn't take long as Bekah soon entered the room seeing Kai unconscious on the bed VBekah quickly looked and me and asked "Who is this child."I quickly replied, "Malakai parker he is a siphoner from the Gemini coven."Bekah looked at the child and smiled she knew Lucifer had a huge soft spot of siphoners because of their treatment as she asked "I heard when I was in the hallway that you wish to adopt him."

Lucifer gave a nod and said, "Yes when I found him no one, not even his siblings were there for him."Bekah looked at Kai with pity and said "Are you sure you want to do this you know if we have a child soon kai will feel like an outsider."

I sighed and replied, "Then I will blood adopt him."Bekah raised an eyebrow while slowly walked towards me while gave me a peck on the lip and smiled "So you really want to give him a family of his own."I gave a nod while both Bekah and I made our way to our chambers to rest the next day I had a meeting with new head of Lux and the Bennet family soon Shelia Bennet and Marcus Lux entered the room both of them bowed they head as I waved my hand said "I don't like formalities between us as I was friends with Bennet family for a long time and Marcus you are by great Nephew."

Both smiled at me while Shiela who knew me as a child smiled and said: "It is good to see you are back Lucifer and we heard you wanted to meet us."I gave a nod and replied, "Yes I need your help with something for me just keep an eye on a vampire named Damon Salvtore he is a crazy vampire who will kill anyone just to pass time or get his job done he shows up in mystic falls from time to time."

Marcus who heard this questioned, "So you want the Shadow hunters to kill him."I shook my and head and replied "No don't kill him my father wants him to live."Marcus understood when Lucifer mentioned Father as he thought "So God wants to keep this Vampire alive for some reason but he didn't say anything about torturing or scaring him."

Shiela who was silent asked, "So you want to keep an eye on the Salvatore family since you think he will take refuge there and you said he shows up in mystic falls from time to time which means either he is confident that no one will recognize him or he is searching for something or someone."

I smiled replied "Correct he is trying to open the tomb located under the fell's church."Lux knew the vampires 27 vampires as he questioned "Why is someone connected to him in there."I clasped hands together and said, "Yes Damon believes Katriana Petrova or Katherine his lover is inside the tomb in reality she has been free all along."I told both of them the story of Salvatore brother's and Kathrine.

Shiela was thoughtful she said, "So he has been searching about how to open the tomb for the past 100 years for this woman while in reality, she does not care about him at all."I gave a nod while I pitied Damon to an extent his love/obsession for either Katherine or Elena is something I don't understand.

I sighed and said, "Don't be soft on him because of this he is ruthless and will do anything to complete his objective."Shiela and Marcus gave a nod while it's true Damon killed Lexi to create a scapegoat for the council and he turned Abbie into a vampire to save elena.

Lux questioned "So this obsessed vampire coming to Mystic falls is very high."I nodded replied"Please be careful around him."
