Chapter 7: Team 7 assembles
Months passed swiftly for Daichi since he joined the academy, honing his skills and learning various ninjutsu and techniques. His hard work and natural talent earned him a reputation among his classmates, and he became well-respected among his peers and instructors.
As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, Daichi continued to miss Itana dearly. He often found himself reminiscing about their training sessions under the large tree and the way she used to encourage and challenge him to become stronger. Though he understood the importance of her mission and the duty that came with being a ninja, the void she left in his heart was still present.
However, he knew that he had to keep moving forward.For his dream,he couldn't afford to dwell on his emotions for too long.
In this alternate world, things were a bit different from the original Naruto universe. Naruto and Sasuke were both girls, and their personalities were distinct from what Daichi had read in the manga. Naruko, as she was now called, had the same mischievous and lively spirit as her male counterpart, but she also had a strong sense of loyalty and friendship.
Satsuki, on the other hand, surprised Daichi the most. Unlike the cold and distant demeanor of the Sasuke he knew from the manga, Satsuki in this world had a lovely personality. She was still driven and focused, but she also displayed kindness and consideration towards her friends.
During this time, Sakura's crush on Daichi grew stronger. She was drawn to his maturity, wit, and exceptional skills. However, she was unsure how to express her feelings and often found herself blushing whenever Daichi was around.
One day, the class received the news that they would be taking the graduation exam. Excitement buzzed through the students as they prepared to showcase their abilities and graduate to become full-fledged shinobi. Daichi faced the exam with confidence, breezing through the challenges with ease and leaving the class astonished by his capabilities.
With the exam successfully completed, Iruka-sensei announced the moment they had all been waiting for. "Congratulations, everyone! Starting today, you are all official shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village!"
The cheers erupted in the room as the newly graduated ninja celebrated their achievements. Iruka-sensei continued, "Now, it's time for you to form your four-man teams. Your team will be led by a jonin sensei who will guide and mentor you through your missions."
Daichi, Sakura, Satsuki, and Naruko gathered together to form their team. Iruka-sensei soon announced, "Your team will be known as Team 7. Now, wait here in the forest near the academy for your sensei."
As they waited, Daichi noticed Sakura stealing glances at him, and a playful thought crossed his mind. He approached Sakura with a charming smile and teasingly said, "Is there something on my face, Sakura?"
Sakura blushed, flustered by Daichi's directness. "N-no! It's nothing. I-I was just... um..."
Before she could finish, a new figure suddenly appeared before them, catching everyone's attention. It was their sensei, Kana Hatake. Daichi couldn't help but be captivated by her striking beauty. He had heard rumors about Kana being attractive despite wearing a mask, but now, seeing her in person, he understood why.
"Yo," Kana greeted with a casual wave, her visible eye crinkling in amusement. "I'm Kana Hatake, your sensei."
Naruko and Satsuki exchanged surprised glances, not expecting their sensei to be a woman. However, they quickly refocused their attention on Kakashi's words.
"I have a little test for you all, the bell challenge," Kakashi explained, holding up three bells. "Your mission is to try and take these bells from me. But be warned, I won't make it easy for you.You have till evening.Now start."
