Chapter 3: Elemental affinity insight

Time had passed, and Daichi had now reached the age of five. Over the years, he had honed his chakra control and had received various rewards from the Sign-In System, some of which were not worth mentioning.They held no significant power.

The day of Daichi's fifth birthday had arrived.Yuki couldn't help but feel a mix of pride and love for her son, who had already shown incredible potential despite his tender age.

Unbeknownst to her, the Sign-In System had a birthday gift prepared for Daichi. As the day went on, the usual festivities took place, and Daichi enjoyed the attention and affection her mother Yuki, with a mother's adoration, watched her son's laughter and innocent happiness, cherishing every moment.

As the sun began to set,Yuki sat Daichi down in front of a small cake she had prepared for him. Candles were lit, and a soft glow filled the room.

"Now, my dear Daichi, make a wish before blowing the candles," Yuki said with a warm smile.

Daichi stared at the flickering candles for a moment, and in his heart, he silently made a wish – a wish to become a strong and capable shinobi, to protect the ones he loved, and to explore the mysteries of this new world.

With a deep breath, Daichi blew out the candles, and a chorus of cheers and applause filled the room. Yuki leaned forward and gently kissed her son's forehead, "Happy birthday, my precious Daichi."

Just as they were about to enjoy the cake, a soft chime resonated in Daichi's mind, a sound only he could hear.

"Congratulations, Host! You are rewarded with Elemental Affinity Insight," the ethereal voice of the Sign-In System echoed within him.

Daichi's eyes widened in surprise, and he felt a warm sensation surging through his body. It was a new gift from the system, one he didn't expect. The Elemental Affinity Insight was a special ability that allowed him to gain an understanding of his elemental affinity, the chakra nature he had an inclination towards.

As the gift settled within him, Daichi instinctively closed his eyes, trying to focus on this newfound insight. Within his mind, he could feel a subtle connection to the elements around him. He sensed the gentle flow of wind, the warmth of fire, the stability of earth, the calmness of water, and the elusive essence of lightning.

The revelation was overwhelming, and Daichi's mind was filled with wonder. He didn't fully understand what this insight meant, but he knew it was a valuable gift. With his innate curiosity, he resolved to explore and learn more about his elemental affinity.

However, Daichi decided to keep this newfound ability a secret, even from his mother. He felt that sharing the knowledge of the Sign-In System could bring unwanted attention and potentially endanger those he cared about. Instead, he chose to trust in his own abilities and the guidance of his loving mother.

In the following days, Daichi spent much of his time quietly experimenting with chakra and observing the elements around him. He tried to sense the unique properties of each chakra nature and find a connection to one that resonated with him. Though he was still young, Daichi's determination and focus were awe-inspiring.

As months passed, Daichi's control over his chakra continued to improve, and he gained a deeper understanding of the world around him. His bond with his mother, Yuki, grew stronger each day, and he treasured every moment they spent together.

Little did he know that his journey had only just begun, and the journey to become strongest being just began.
