"From here, I can see the ogre village. It appears to be surrounded by trees, with medium-sized houses that resemble those found in any fantasy starting village.
"Queen, let me know if there is anyone powerful nearby, and specifically keep a lookout for the dryads."
<< Okay. Need permission to use some of the skills. >>
'Yeah, you can.'
"Now, the first thing I will do is take over the ogre village. I believe I am powerful enough in comparison to these ogres. With my three unique skills, I should have an advantage."
I suppress my aura so that no one can sense me and approach the village.
"I don't think I can always refer to my skills as 'Queen's Wisdom.' What should I call them? I can't decide now; it might jeopardize my safety. Ah, let's forget about it for now."
"Queen, integrate <Analysis> from [Gluttony] into [Queen's Wisdom] and acquire a skill related to mind domination."
<< Affirmative. Linking to the skill... Successful. >>
<< Performing Analyze and Assess to acquire a skill related to mind domination... Successful. >>
<< Skill [Thought Manipulation] has been acquired. >>
'What is the usage of this skill?'
<< Thought Manipulation:
The user can control the thoughts of others; they can make others think what they want, control thinking processes, cause the loss of their train of thought, inducing confusion, or completely shut off thinking processes. >>
'Great. With this skill, I will control the thoughts of the ogre chief and make them all subordinate.'
'Queen, is there anyone in the ogre village who is able to resist Thought Manipulation?'
<< Solution: None. >>
As I approached the gate of the ogre village, a guard ogre stood in my way.
"Halt! What business do you have in the ogre village?"
I have changed my appearance to look nothing like an ogre. I clearly resemble a human.
"I come with very important news. There is a great danger heading this way. I must speak to your village chief as soon as possible."
As I spoke those words, I briefly displayed my magical abilities, making it clear that I was not a weakling they could push around.
However, something interesting happened. The amount of magic I displayed was far greater than I had anticipated. Why?
<< Solution: Because the individual possesses multiple unique skills that have pushed their power to the limits of their current evolution. >>
Ogres, while strong monsters, were only ranked B, or A- at best if they were the strongest of their kind. The tempest serpent that <Rimuru> killed before leaving Veldora's Imprisonment cave was rank A. The amount of magic I showed was enough to suggest that if I wanted to, I could force my way in.
"Ah, j-just one second, sir. I shall send a message as fast as I can."
The guard quickly passed the message to another guard nearby and awkwardly stared at me until someone with higher authority arrived. Within a few minutes, a very familiar face appeared.
With medium-sized red hair, red skin, and two black horns on his forehead, it was none other than the ogre who would later become Benimaru.
"Follow me. I shall take you to the chief's house."
The houses may have appeared plain on the outside, but the interiors clearly displayed the Japanese heritage of the ogres from the people they had rescued in the distant past.
"If you have ever seen a Japanese house, then you can get a close idea of what their house looked like, that is, if you remove most of the technology and plumbing.
Sitting in front of me on the floor, with a small table in front of me, was who I assumed was the village chief. Surprisingly, it appeared that Shuna had gotten her pink hair from him.
He had a handsome face and long hair that reached his waist. His cream-colored skin and crimson red eyes had markings near them, and he had two big black horns on his forehead.
At a moment's notice, the conversation began...
"I've heard you come with important news. May I hear what they are?"
'Queen, use the skill [Thought Domination] to influence their thoughts to belive my words. Don't try to dominate or change their thoughts, as it might leave traces of the domination. Focus mostly on the ogre chief.'
<<Understood.>>
"Your village is in grave danger. Tens of thousands of orcs are headed in this direction, and they are being led by an orc lord."
The village leader's face instantly turned grim. He looked towards the white-haired ogre behind him and asked him to join the table as an advisor.
"What do you think about the situation? I know that our people are strong, but even if we are stronger than orcs, our village can't take a direct fight with more than 3,000 orcs at maximum. And not only are they coming in the tens of thousands, but they are also being led by an orc lord. My friend, I know your character discerning skills are better than mine. So, do you think we can trust this human? A decision like this cannot be taken lightly. It would mean abandoning our homes."
The white-haired ogre nodded and looked towards me.
"Tell me, why did a human come out of his way to warn us about this danger? What do you expect in return for this favor?"
'Now I think I should start with some bullshit.'
"In truth, I don't want you to leave your village. I want to build a kingdom where monsters and magic-born can prosper. I know the strength we all have the potential to hold, and I want to stop us from being seen as inferior beings. I want to be able to grow a nation strong enough to live in peace. Because in this world, if you are not strong, you are fated to become a puppet or die. In the end, I just want peace. That is why I must have the strength to protect it. Things are heading in a direction in which if no one steps in, the world will end up in the hands of some madman or worse.
And as for me being a human, I hope you don't underestimate my strength based on my form. My name is Sosuke Aizen. I am a slime."
If I can take any name, then I will name myself as the most handsome man throughout Bleach.
I turned into a slime for a second and then returned to my elf form.
"As for what benefits I can provide you, I promise a safe environment where everyone will be secure, and I promise to name all of the ogres in the village. I can only name 5 ogres a day, so it will take some time, but soon all of you will receive names. All I require is your loyalty."
Silence filled the room.
The white-haired ogre looked at the village chief and said, "I don't feel lies in his speech. I believe he truly means what he says."
"In that case, I cannot risk the fate of my people. We shall first confirm the situation regarding the orcs. I can't say I accept your deal yet, as I have to consider the fate of my people. And the fact that you say you are willing to name all of the ogres is a bit unbelievable. But I thank you for your warning and assistance. If for some reason we decide not to stay and need to evacuate the village, I will find a way to return the favor."
'What? Hey, have you activated the "Thought Manipulation"?'
<<Yes. Thought Manipulation is working, but at a level where they can't sense it, and it is mostly focused on the ogre chief.>>
'Then why is it not working?'
<<Since it is not a forced Thought Manipulation, it will take some time to put the thought in someone's mind without them knowing.>>
<<It is detected that to name someone, one should be named.>>
'What? I completely forgot about it. So even if they agree, I will not be able to name them. It is an issue then.'
As I was thinking about it, a sudden thought came to my mind. How did Guy Crimson name himself?
'Hey, [Queen's Wisdom], can I name myself?'
<<On extremely rare occasions, an individual can receive a name through the collective belief of a large number of people. Individuals named in this way receive all the self-image and power-enhancing properties of a name without needing to form a close bond with another person.>>
'So if I dominate this ogre village, can you manipulate their belief and is it possible for me to name myself?'
<<Yes, it is possible.>>
'Well, that is a great idea.'
"I understand. In that case, let's get to work. We should have a few days left before the orcs arrive," I said.
