Two Star Aura

"Finally!" The awaited moment had come when he wasn't expecting any outcome and about to leave the training ground and come again tomorrow.

"I told you, didn't I?" Alaya showed a hint of pride in her voice.

The sensation intensified in his body multiple folds. He held onto his lotus position as he began to flow it into his Di and scatter it outside his body.

This time it was much different than before when he held onto his heart in agony. Now, there was no pain in his voice, and he flowed it outside. The problem last time was that his aura heart was completely filled to the brim by aura, but it was empty right now. So, the aura that instantly occurred in his heart didn't expand his heart and cause any pain since it filled the place with normal aura inside his heart.

"Now, let it all out and empty your heart," she guided him to make it through the wall.

He knew the process from the novel, so he did that before Alaya even told him to, and he was doing it pretty well without any further guidance. He slowly let it be outside and empty his aura heart where the raging barbaric aura resided.

"Good, keep on going like that," noticing his progress, she instructed him.

It was all going smoothly; there wasn't really anything wrong with his technique, and he was doing everything correctly without even her instruction. So she didn't bother guiding him with every little step but with giving in a word or two in between few minutes.

"Boy, last time was like literally hell, but this time there isn't the slightest ache or soreness in my body." His face showed a shiver when he remembered the last time.

Soon, after the fifteen minutes had passed and he had emptied the raging aura completely, he had now smoothly ascended too. A new wave of strength and freshness washed over him when he achieved the new level.

"Congrats, you are now a two-star aurar," she reached his shoulder to pat it.

"Thanks," he nodded, smiling ear to ear.

"Well now, don't be too happy. Eldric has recently achieved 3-star in aura. You should work even harder if you want to get closer to his level," she dropped his excitement to zero with that sentence. Well, after all, it was the truth and it's always harsh to say the least.

With that, he had reached a new level with new strength and power. He picked up his sword, swung it to feel the difference, and indeed, he felt a huge change as if he could split the air in half.

"There's definitely a difference," he said, indifferent on the outside.

With that, they without any problem smoothly proceeded with everything and after that they were done with their stuff and went on with their day.

He may have become a two-star aurar now, but he wasn't as excited as anyone would expect him to be, given his personality.

Although imperceptible, there was a seriousness in his face that couldn't be noticed by anyone unless looked at closely. That's because he realized his strength progression was lacking a lot compared to Daven, the protagonist.

A week had passed after his level-up, but his training continued with the same intensity. Reaching their desired level didn't mean he could stop; he had to continue, not because he wanted to, but because it was a necessity.

His training went on and on, but there was a slight change—increased sparring time. She had completely cut off theoretical education from his schedule and dedicated that time to sharpening his sword.

He stood before her room, rethinking his decision to ask her for permission to venture alone.

"Well... I gotta ask her; if not today, then tomorrow. Not like I can avoid it," he thought, feeling anxious. He didn't have a proper reasoning to convince her, and, of course, he couldn't simply tell her the truth—it would sound crazy.

In the end, knowing he wouldn't be avoiding it in the upcoming future, he decided to knock on her door and enter. There, he saw Alaya noting down something in her notebook.

"What brings you here, young master?" she asked, looking up from her notebook as he entered her room in the night.

Since she wasn't training him, she had reverted to her semi-formal role as a maid.

"Um... Uhh... Well, I've got something to talk about," he hesitated, his words stumbling, highlighting his nervousness.

"Why are you nervous and hesitating? You can just go ahead and speak, young master," she noted, concerned about his demeanor.

He acknowledged his nervousness and tried to ease it by deepening his breathing, inhaling and exhaling at an even pace. It seemed like an inexplicable anxiety, as if he had committed a petty crime and was being presented in public for it.

"Ahh, you are right. Well, I am here to tell you something," he shifted his tone to one more confident and dominant, indicating that he wasn't seeking her permission but informing her about his decision.

"Proceed with your thoughts," she replied, attentive to his words.

"Well... You remember I told you to make a training plan for only half a year, but I never told you the reason behind it, right?" he reminded her.

She nodded, unsure why he was bringing it up.

"So, let me tell you the reason behind it—I am going to leave the house," he added.

When Alaya heard what he said, she was not only confused but also baffled. She asked him again to confirm if he had really said that.

"Leave the house? Did I hear that right, young master?" she asked, seeking confirmation.

"Yes, you heard it right. I've decided to venture out on my own," he affirmed, maintaining his composure and giving her more clarity.

Deep in thought, Alaya pondered for a moment before posing the question that weighed heavily on his mind. "I believe you have ample support to train and thrive here sustainably. Why the desire to venture out?" she inquired, addressing the obvious concern.
