One Star Aurar

'I knew he would be a one-star aurar very within these upcoming weeks, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon. I was expecting a few days before he would reach one star,' she contemplated.

Aware of the close proximity to achieving a star aura, she had predicted it to occur within these two weeks due to the constant fluctuation in aura levels. However, the fact that it happened in just two days was surprising even to her.

"10000..."

*phukk*

A tremendous outburst of aura enveloped him, consuming him entirely. The energy surrounding him reached immense proportions, expanding to the very ceiling of the training ground.

"Concentrate and focus this energy on the tip of the sword, letting it all out in a swing!" she began to instruct him through his ascension.

The raging and dangerous aura engulfing him required careful control. If left unchecked, the sudden increase in aura during the ascension could lead to his heart exploding due to the insufficient space to contain it.

'It fucking pains! My heart is expanding! I gotta let out all of it before it bursts open for real!' he groaned, his knees weakening from the pain, making it difficult to stand properly as they trembled beneath him.

The circulating aura wasn't any normal kind; it was raging and far more violent than typical auras. Known as Beastial aura, it couldn't be controlled or harnessed by humans. Instead, it needed to be released; otherwise, it would burst the aura storage because it couldn't be contained by humans. It was an aura that only beastmen could use.

"What are you waiting for? Do it!" she yelled.

"*ahh* damn it!" He grabbed his chest in pain, his expression deteriorating due to the intense discomfort.

As he was engulfed in the aura, he only faintly heard her, but he understood her instructions. Pulling his hand away from his chest, he grabbed his sword again and attempted to solidify his footing on the floor.

"*Arrgh!* Darnn frrgh mrh herrrt!" he wailed, unable to form words due to the pain.

Despite his intense agony, he wailed and grunted, struggling to push through the pain and started to focus on directing the flow of aura to his sword's direction.

"Keep doing it! Deplete your reserves! Throw it in my direction!" She shouted instructions to him as he continued pouring energy into his sword's tip.

She positioned herself in front of him, taking a defensive stance, prepared to block the oncoming aura and halt the potential destruction with her own strength.

He concentrated all of his aura on his sword and then threw it in her way, allowing her to disperse all of it. This ensured that the aura wouldn't cause destruction in the training ground, as she couldn't afford to let it be destroyed.

'Ahh, the pain is reducing!'

As he poured aura into his sword, emptying his reserves, he could feel the pain gradually lightening with each passing second.

"Okay now! Perform a slash!" she commanded.

His sword, fully engulfed in a highly concentrated aura, had the potential to inflict critical injury even on an average 3-star aurar. It could wreak havoc on the entire training ground if he let it all out with his swing while there was no one to disperse it.

*thudrrr*

'This amount of aura he has is tremendous. His aura capacity is frightening,' she exclaimed in surprise.

According to her command, he performed a slash. With her sword, she effortlessly stopped and dispersed it, but the shockwave made the whole training ground tremble. Fortunately, it was more than strong enough to handle this kind of shockwave. The only damage done was the booming echo, which was ear-piercing.

"Congrats, you have achieved 1 star. It was much earlier and unexpected from what I expected," she said, gracefully sheathing her sword.

"Thanks, it was painful," he replied with a bitter smile.

'Damn! My heart is beating quite hard right now! Obvious since I was panicking quite a bit.'

He could hear his heart drumming inside his chest, realizing that he had just faced a close encounter with death again.

'Ahh shit! I wasn't even aware of how quick the process was! It took off so quickly, the ascension, and I wasn't even aware myself that I was going to level up,'

He hadn't the slightest idea that he was going to reach a new level. It all happened so quickly that he didn't even happen to notice it.

'It's actually worrying since I should have at least noticed it if I had made improvement this quickly and was about to level up, but there was no indication about that,' he thought, concerned.

Lost in thoughts, Naya looked at him with squinted eyes.

'It's pretty weird since I would have at least known about that if I'm going to level since it's my body,"

He had a genuinely concerned look in his eyes while Naya kept on observing and scanning him with her eyes.

'This guy's resonance with himself just increased right now. What in heavens...?' Naya was bewildered after she had witnessed.

She was genuinely in disbelief, as his case was already pretty weird, but it got even weirder now since his resonance shot up after he levelled up.

'Arhhh! Wtf is this? Is this seriously some kind of joke?' she snorted, annoyed.

'It's weird, but it's fine as long as it doesn't cause a butterfly effect in this world,' he sighed.

Even though he let this topic go as he wouldn't be able to do anything about it, he couldn't help but be concerned. The worry lingered in his mind. Since he was always surrounded by an unfamiliar and scary world, he faced the misfortune of death with every step.

"Something wrong? Your face is..." Alaya asked, nudging him and pulling him out of his thoughts.

"Ahh- nothing! I'm just shocked by the fact how close I was to death. It's frightening," he crackled, awkwardly.

"Don't think about stuff like that; just keep focusing on improving," she patted his head with a gentle and caring smile on her face.
