Chapter 8 | Rewards

Going back inside, I sit on a couch an stare blankly into space, or rather at my notifications for what feels like hours, specifically at one name.

''I did not see that coming.'' If my [Icy Disposition] wasn't in affect right now, I would most likely be making an incredibly stupide face right now.

Finally getting over the fact that the woman I had just spent a month with, who I treated like family and cared for, turned out to be an eco-activist/terrorist/super villain. Well average Friday I guess. I turned my head to the other notifications, I was incredibly interested in the items I'd received as well as the new function of my system.

Wanting to check the new feature, I spoke to Aroura.

'Aroura, can you open the new function.' I mentally thought, I had started developing this habit of trying to talk to Aroura only in my head to avoid any accidents. Afterall you never know when batman's listening... thank god Batman's not a psychic.

When the relationship panel popped up, I was quite surprised by Pam's wide range of emotions, she was feeling. It seemed like a complicated thin but after reading the description underneath I could somewhat understand. She thinks if she likes someone 12 years young it was wrong, that explains, [Guilty Crush] and [Denial]. At the same time due to me saving and rehabilitating her she also sees me as a [Savior] and has a really high [Dependency] on me.

Maybe I can stop her from becoming a villain, but theirs only one problem with that, when does she gain her powers. Sadly I wasn't a die-hard DC fan and didn't know some of the finer detail. Looking through my memories with [Perfect Memory] I could remember some tid-bits of information, mostly from what friends said, about Poison Ivy gaining her powers from a chemical accident(?) but I wasn't to sure.

Either way, it's important I be their for her when she needs me and guide her when she gains her powers, if all goes well... She may turn into a hero instead of a villain.

Turning my attention to the other rewards I asked Aorura to pull them up.

'Aroura, can you show me the other rewards?'' I asked.

Looking at the [Status] I realized that their was a new Ability/Power and Skill, [Natural Energy] and [Kiss Demon].

'Aroura can you show me what [Natural Energy] and [Kiss Demon] do?'

[Natural Energy Talent]

Allows the owner to be able to use and learn [Natural Energy] as well as mitigate the risks of [Natural Energy].

A type of energy that exist in the ground and atmosphere, that when traditionally combined with chakra, gives the user Senjutsu chakra and allows the user to use Senjutsu. If mastered it also allows for the usage of Sage Mode.

A B++ ranked skill from Fate-verse. It was originally owned by an archer class servant, summoned without a master. To sustain the servant, this skill was granted by the grail to sustain the servant in the absence of a master. By kissing another individual, you can recharge or steal your own energy from their own. Works best with Mana, but can also steal other types of energy, the other individual must possess the desired form of energy or stamina and physical state will be drained instead. Causes a weakening and pleasure inducing sensation from the draining of energy. Grants [Kissing] Rank A+.

Looking through the rewards, I was baffled. The [Natural Energy Talent] seemed to be related to the Naruto version of [Natural Energy] and if so it was incredibly helpful. In Naruto [Natural Energy] Increased all physical abilities from strength to perception. It even strenghtened cognitive funstions and the brain.

It was even more amazing when considering Sage mode. Their however, where three major problems; First, I didn't have any chakra to use to make Senjutsu, Second, I don't have a teacher, which may be the biggest problem. And third, even with greater resistance, I don't have anyway of making sure I wont turn into a stone statue. So for now, [Natural Energy] is gonna be on the side, until I study further.

Next, [Kiss Demon] was also an amazing skill, it allowed to instantly recuperate my physical state and heal any fatigue, it also opened up the doors to stealing an enemies stamina and energy. That is, if I don't become a registered sex offender while trying to use it...

Shaking my head I remember I had one for reward I wanted to look at.

'Aroura, can you show me the other reward as well'

Looking at the strange egg in an incubator displayed on the storage, I have Aroura pull up it's information.

Being near nature seems to help with it's growth.

Looking at the description, I deadpanned. This wasn't a normal egg, it was defiantly the white and green spotted egg from Pokémon.

'Aroura any clue, what this will hatch into?'

[It's impossible to tell, but it'll definitely be a grass type.]

'Maybe it'll be a Bulbasaur?' I said jokingly, then started to caress the egg tenderly while holding it delicately.

'I wonder what it'll be.'
