5. Tragedy
(3rd semi-all knowing POV)
"The princess has been taken!" The elves shouted throughout the kingdom.
"How could this be!", the elves cried you could hear the broken sob of the kingdom. How they mourned at the sight of the news. Inside of a big room a long table with elven engravings cast in the finest gold sat a group of 4 people.
one young eleven couple and two elven males one was old while the other was middle aged where all sitting across the table. The young male was seething a mask of frustration and fear enveloped his face.
He quickly tamed his emotions and looked at the figures sitting around him. "What. happened. to my daughter?" The young male said in a serious tone. His eyes piercing into the middle aged man.
"U-Um we believe that princess Tessia ran away from her guard while walking through the town. After that we received reports of seeing princess Tessia near the border of the forest.
Furthermore, since us elves have a innate sense of the forest. We presume that something has happened to the princess, since she has not yet returned" the man finished
The young male listened closely before speaking again. Send some scouts and guards into the forest. This a maximum priority mission; they must not fail.
Go! He yelled at the guard seeing him dawdling. "Yes, my king!". The make wiped some sweat from his brow before the room erupted into more discussion.
Meanwhile in a unknown part of the Elshire forest lay a snow-haired boy. His eyes were bulging, his forehead seething with miniature snakes. The air pressure was enough to crush the horns of any thing on this planet.
The boy had spent the last hour searching for the princess. Alas, he could not find a single trace of his missing sister.
He was getting more and more frustrated by the minute. He needed to find his sister. 'I guess I have no choice'
The boy looked around the forest as if checking for people. A light ball of dark Maroon and red formed on the tip of his nose.
The boy immediately looked westward, and as if he was possessed he ran at lighting speed going through the thick green vines and trees. His eyes formed a deep glare.
The boy soon walked upon a group of humans, a boy, and a small elven girl. "SATORU!" The girl screamed at the sight of her brother. Her face turned into that of relief and anxiety. However Satoru was not allowed the comfort of responding as he was immediately stabbed from behind.
The sound of flesh being punctured could be heard all around the vicinity. The sweet silence coupled with bitter and cold note of death, created nothing but fear in the small girls eyes.
Her expression darkened. Her eyes bulged as she looked at her brothers body fall on the floor. She was absolute shell-shocked.
The small boy quickly guarded the girl as the fighting still continued. The boy skillfully isolated the group and made quick work of his enemies all, but he made a fatal mistake in his footing causing him to be cornered by the group. 'Is this really how it ends?' The boy sadly thought.
"Limitless" a glacial voice whispered in their minds. The group surrounding the boy froze instantly. Their faces turning from cocky grins to utter shock.
'Demon' the leader thought. As he looked upon Satoru. His devilish grin coupled with the darkness in his eyes.
There was no better word to describe his current state. "You know Every warrior wants a worthy opponent. There is no point in fighting the pathetic."
"And you my fine sir…are scum." He finished as he killed the man in front of him.
