Both Viel and Lux bid farewell to their Grandma and returned to Elysium. They appeared in the Plaza of Leaf Village, only to find Colette and her friends there.

"Big Brothers!" Colette shouted as she ran and hugged the two half-elves.

"Big Brother Viel will you please marry… my Big Sister?" the little dwarf asked with pleading eyes.

"I can't, sorry. But I think my lil' brother would be more than glad to do it." Viel answered. "We would still be family nevertheless."

"It's true!" Colette said excitedly. "What do you think Big Brother Lux? Will you marry my Big Sister?"

Lux gave Viel a killing glance as he thought about what to say to Colette.

"... I'll think about it." Lux replied.

"Good." Colette smiled. For now, she was satisfied with Lux's answer.

"Ah! I nearly forget it." Colette said as she took two silver rings out from her magic bag.

"My family gave me these for you. It's a thank-you gift for saving our lives." Colette explained. "Please accept them."

Viel vowed as he took the ring which Colette said was for him.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it."

He checked what was inside it. He remembered that Lux would get twenty Rank 2 Beast Cores as well as a Unique-Rarity Bow.

Inside the ring, he found twenty Rank 2 Beast Cores and a sword. Thanks to a skill book that he received from his grandma, Vera, after going back to Solais, he was able to learn the Appraisal skill. Although it was of a low rank, so he wasn't able to appraise some things.

"I like it." Viel said. "Even if I can't use it right now, it will complement well with my other sword in the future."

As Viel said this, Colette jumped out for joy.

""Thanks."" Viel and Lux said.

"It's the least we could do after both of you saved our lives." Matty said.

Viel bid farewell as the Goldesnlayer party planed to raid the Carbuncle, the the Alpha Beast of the Aspiration Plains.

When Viel got to his room in the inn, he checked his inventory. After dividing the harvest from the Kobold's Cave, fight he found himself with a lot of dropped items like Kobold Leather and Fangs, rusty swords and shields, broken armors, mage capes and staffs, and last but not least, a lot of Beast Cores.

In total he has one hundred and twenty five Rank 1, seventy Rank 2, ten Rank 3 and one Rank 4 Beast Cores.

Also, after the fight he successfully met the requirements and evolved most of his skills like Dark Arrow, Feral Instinct, Stone Skin and Night Vision.

He decided to consume all the Rank 1 Beast Cores and use some Rank 2 Beast Cores to upgrade his summons.
