Reincarnated in Strongest Necromancer of Heaven's Gate

Valentine, who had died of a heart attack after losing everything he held dear, finds himself floating in a black space. The Omnipotent God of Usurpation, or OGU, appears before him and tells him he will bestow a blessing on Valentine for his next life. OGU also introduces him to his friend, the Omnipotent Goddess of Hypnosis, Aurora, who gives Valentine her blessing as well. They both ask him where he would like to reincarnate, and Valentine chooses to be reincarnated in the world of the "Strongest Necromancer of Heaven's Gate." Valentine then absorbs the blessings from the two omnipotent beings, and a vortex appears and transports him to the world he chose. He appears next to the main character, Lux, before he gets reincarnated on Solais. -------------------------- Please, consider supporting me in https://ko-fi.com/kolill

Barbatos Academy

After two days, he reached Barbatos Academy. He stared at the towering, and majestic structure in the distance as he sat on the back of the horse.

As he neared his destination, Viel looked at one of the grandest academies in Solais.

"Barbatos Academy," Viel said. "It has been nearly three months since I last came here to visit them."

Unlike Lux, who hadn't come to visit them for nearly a year because he was training and preparing for the trial to enter Elysium, Viel visited frequently as he waited for Lux.

When he neared the entrance of the academy he dismounted the horse. As soon as he entered the academy, a woman approached him.

"Welcome to Barbatos Academy, Young Master Viel." the lady, who was wearing the uniform of the academy, and seemed to be in her early thirties, said as she bowed her head towards Viel.

"You are still the same since we last met."

Viel smiled as he nodded his head in acknowledgment. "Nice to meet you again, Alicia. You've gotten more beautiful since the last time I saw you."

"Please, Young Master, you don't want me to also fall for you, don't you?" Alicia replied, "Make sure to hide our affair from Lady Iris. She will definitely throw a tantrum if she finds out that you are flirting with me as well as with the other young ladies of the academy behind her back."

Viel scratched his head nervously because it seemed that Iris had managed to make Alicia one of her people. If he wanted to enjoy his short visit to Barbatos Academy, he'd better stay clear of the young noble ladies who usually flirted with him whenever he visited the academy and of playing with Alicia.

After seeing Viel's nervous expression, a smile appeared on Alicia's lips.

"Young master, please, come with me," Alicia said. "The Headmaster has been waiting for your arrival."

Viel nodded. He couldn't help but feel nervous. After all, he was going to meet his father, Alexander, who was the Headmaster of the strongest military academy in the Western Regions of Solais.

"Headmaster, Young master Viel has arrived."

"Let him in."

Alicia bowed to Viel as she opened the door, welcoming him to enter. She remained outside because this was a family affair and she didn't want Viel flirting with her after in front of the Headmaster.

Upon entering the room, Viel observed a man in his late twenties signing a stack of documents on his desk.

It was evident at first sight that he was far from being an ordinary individual, despite his attempts to conceal it. His immense abilities would occasionally fluctuate, creating ripples in the air surrounding him.

Despite Alexander Von Kaizer's youthful appearance, he was actually 55 years old. Having achieved Sainthood at a young age, his growth had significantly decelerated.

Breaking through the limits of the mortal realm in the world of Solais comes with its perks, as Viel speculates that his Uncle might resemble someone in their early thirties even at the age of one hundred, which wouldn't surprise him.

The Headmaster placed the final document beside him and smiled as Viel took a seat in front of him.

"Viel, it's great to see that you're doing well," Alexander said with a smile that soon turned into a serious expression. "However, my informant in Wildgarde Stronghold informed me that Lux has failed the entrance exam to Elysium once again. Will you have to wait for him and lose another year? If so, I may have to consider abducting you and sending you to Elysium myself."

Viel didn't get cold feet and glared at his step-father, refusing to let him badmouth his little brother, even if he was a Saint, a being at the top of the world.

Seeing Viel's reaction Alexander sighed as he got up from the chair. Standing up, he walked over to the window.

What Alexander wanted was for Viel to rethink his decision. He respected his promise with Lux, but it hurt him to see his stepson's talent getting lost.

"Mother sent me a letter telling me about your visit, but she didn't tell me why did you come here. Would you mind explaining it yourself?" Alexander stated. He was curious about what Viel wanted from him.

"Father, I need your help."

"And what do you need from me?"

"I won't hide it from you, I have been able to learn animancy. The art of the souls. But to use it I need souls, and to create souls I need beast cores. Usually, I'm only able to use cores of the same rank as me, but I can bypass this restriction to create a named soul this time"

Alexander heard what Viel said. He frowned, it didn't bother him that his son has asked for him, it was something else.

"Even though I know about the rule of your Wildgarde Stronghold, I don't mind ignoring it once as an exception. But, you asking me for a measly beast core deeply disappoints me, Viel. I thought you would be able to get a bunch of low-tier beast cores by yourself."

Although Viel felt cold sweat going down his back, he didn't back out.

"Father, I wouldn't come all the way here and bother you if it was a low-tier beast core that I needed. I want to use a Deimos-rank beast core to create the named soul."

"Viel, you are aware of what you are asking me, aren't you? Maybe a Deimos-rank core is nothing for a Saint like me. But for you, who is not even an Apostle, it's too much."

Realizing that his father was not going to give in, no matter what he told him or tried, he decided to activate the OGH blessing.

"Father, I really need the Deimos-rank core. Once I used, although my Named monster won't have the strength of a Deimos one, he will have a considerable advantage compared to others and an immensurable potential."

Viel could sense how it was harder for the blessing to work in his father, but it ended up working out well.

"I do not approve of using third parties as a medium to increase your strength, but I will make an exception once. I will grant you a Deimos-rank beast core, but be aware that you will need to pay it back in the future." Alexander didn't want to indebt his stepson to him for no reason. He wanted him to work and strive, not to get too complacent because of his summons.

"Anyway, you are truly lucky. I have in my possession a Deimos-rank Living Armor I killed when I was young. It truly was a challenge, it had some sort of ability that made him able to attack directly my mind while ignoring part of my defense."

"May I ask why you didn't consume the beast core to gain its ability?" Viel was curious why his father didn't consume it to gain the ability from the beast core. It could truly be a great advantage to have.

"You think I wouldn't have done it if I could? It has some sort of restriction that doesn't let anyone it doesn't approve. Try to see if you can do it."

Viel held the beast core in his hand with the intention to consume it.

< Ding! >

< Do you wish to consume the Deimos-rank Beast Core? >

< Error >

< Unable to consume it. You were not recognized by the soul in the core. >

"It's true. Well, it's not like consuming it was my intention."

"Viel, could you create the soul now? I would like to see how it works."

Viel didn't mind doing it. It was his father, he didn't need to hide it from him.

"Ok."

< Ding! >

< A Deimos-rank Beast Core has been detected. Would you like to offer it to create the soul for your named creature? >

< Yes / No >

"Yes

'Hi! I hope you are finding this book to your liking. Maybe the english isn't the best as I am not a native speaker, but I think it should be readable.'

'I wanted to ask you some questions about Iris because as much as I search for it, I can't find it and I don't remember in which chapter it was mentioned.'

'Do you know which rank Iris is or how old she is?'

'Also, if you should give a value to Iris' Luck Status Points, what would be? Or even her entire Stats Points from her Soul Book. I am truly lost.'
