Kagune

( Yuuki's POV )

When Joyce and I finished bathing, I headed to my hospital and when I was at the entrance of the house, Emilia ran after me because she wanted to visit Shiki who was working there.

On the way, we were chatting and I casually mentioned Joyce awakening her powers and Emilia immediately got excited thinking her powers could show up any day now, speaking of powers, I had everything ready to turn my fiancées and Joyce's sisters into sekireis as they asked me to.

The hospital that Ana had bought was exactly in the middle of our house and the MBI building so it took us some time to get there when we arrived we went to a private room where Shiki was waiting for us.

Emilia: Murasaki-san, how have you been?

Emilia runs to hug Shiki and she ruffles her hair with a smile.

Shiki: hello girl, I'm fine, tell me is this guy treating you well?

Emilia: He is, thanks for asking.

Yuuki: hey I would never do anything to hurt her, you know?

Shiki: I'm just checking.

Yuuki: *sigh* that's fine I guess, did you take care of what I asked you for?

Shiki: Yes, you have all the time you need, just don't make too much noise.

Yuuki: That won't be a problem.

We said goodbye to Shiki and we became serious, what we are going to do will not be pretty, Emilia and I walked through the hospital until we reached a room on the third floor of the hospital, and when I opened the door the patient inside recognized me immediately.

Yuuki: good morning Shido-sensei.

His eyes widened and he pressed the button to call a nurse desperately but obviously, no one was coming, I put a hand on the door and I used a new skill I discovered a few days ago to make this room soundproof.

Yuuki: what's up with that reaction, didn't you say that you want the best for your students, you'll see I have a problem and only you can help me.

I slowly walked toward Shido's bed and he threw everything he could grab around him at me.

Koichi: go away, leave me alone!

Yuuki: You should be grateful to me, I will give you the opportunity to genuinely help someone other than yourself.

I flipped Shido upside down as Shido continued to yell for help, Emilia turned to me and handed me a cylindrical crystal object, a crystal container, which I put on Shido's back, the crystal container pierced his back and the bottom of the container began to rotate drawing blood from Shido and causing him incredible pain when the process was finished the glass container was filled with a pulsating organic mass that almost seemed liquid and gave off a red glow.

Emilia and I moved to the door of the room and I could hear Shido's weak voice.

Koichi: I ha-te y-ou, I swear I'll make you pay for this, I'll kill you.

Yuuki: Yeah, good luck.

Emilia and I went to the MBI building and went up to the R&D department ( Matsu's floor ) where all my Sekirei were waiting for us, I put the glass container in a tank filled with a blue liquid.

Kaie: so this is what the reincarnated desire, what is it?

Yuuki: this is a special organ, according to Hilda this is from another world and is called Kagune.

Matsu: we are going to analyze this organ and create artificial duplicates that we can implant in ourselves.

Mitsuki: is that safe? Why would we even do that?

Matsu approaches the panel connected to the tank and after pressing several buttons that send electrical signals to the tank, The Kagune lets out a red liquid that joins and forms a blade-like limb.

Yuuki: this will make us a bit stronger, and understanding the weapon our enemy uses will give us a huge advantage.

Matsu: there is a lot we can do with this, I already have a couple of ideas that I want to try~

Mitsuki: I get it, you guys are going to go into mad scientist mode.

( A week later )

When Matsu and I got to work it only took us two days to create several prototypes of artificial Kagune, which were divided into four different types, Ukaku, Koukaku, Rinkaku, and Bikaku, and all of them are in different parts of the person's back.

Ukaku manifests as a wing that can crystallize and fire projectiles, its main attribute being speed.

Koukaku is like a third arm, very stiff and sharp, perfect for attacking and defending at the same time, and its main attribute is defense.

Rinkaku are tentacle-like limbs, very flexible and powerful, good for mobility and attack, their main attribute is power.

And finally Bikaku, these form a tail and their main attribute is balance, they are not particularly strong or weak in any aspect.

After creating the artificial Kagune the next thing was the transfusion, for which one needs compatibility with each of the Kagune types, I was compatible with Ukaku, Koukaku, and Rinkaku, with our technology the operation went without any problem but that was the easy part, learning to use a completely new organ is not an easy thing and from then on our training focused on learning how to use our kagunes, as locals of this world all my friends had kagunes but they obviously didn't know how to use them, the kagune organ hadn't even been discovered by the scientists of this world and even when they find it it will take them some time to figure out what it can do.

In a week none of us managed to activate their Kagune but that doesn't mean that it was a week without events, I had the opportunity to meet Lilith's parents, and after meeting them the personality of Lilith and Julie made a lot of sense to me, Saya also invited us to her house a couple of times, also two friends of Rei joined our group Komuro Takashi and Igo Hisashi, both of them didn't like me very much because of all the rumors about me they were only there for Rei but as long as they don't do anything stupid that doesn't bother me, plus the news started talking about us after we put out a fire in a building in the middle of town, we had gained a reputation in this city and some people painted our sekireis symbol on their local businesses.

And during a night patrol together with Reina and Lilith, I felt something strange in the air, as if something was about to happen, but I didn't know if it was something good or bad.

Reina: Hey, you're fine, you kinda zone out there.

Yuuki: I'm sorry, I'm fine, I just got a bit distracted.

Reina noticed my distant attitude and I assured her that I was fine, all my fiancees were now Sekireis and they had a tattoo with their numbers on their shoulders, Reina No. 18, Lilith No. 19, Shizuka No. 20, Saya-shi No. 21, Julie No. 22, Felli No. 23 y Saeko No. 24, Lilith was annoyed that she wasn't the lowest number among them but I reassured her by telling her that the numbers didn't mean anything important.

With our enhanced senses, we heard a cry for help and I pushed any unnecessary thoughts out of the back of my head.

Lilith: It seems that duty calls.

We followed the cry for help and went to a convenience store, at first I thought this was another petty thief but I couldn't be more wrong.
